Ben and three of his other friends sat at a table regretting letting Knox pick what they would be spending their Friday night doing "A poetry lounge Knox really why'd you have to pick this" one of the men said "you guys said I could choose we got drinks,food and we can smoke cigars here so what's the problem" Knox said " yeah but a poetry lounge" Ben said laughing they all talked for a bit and clapped as the young man was finished with his poem on stage " Alright ladies and gentlemen give it up again for 'B the poet' " he host said "okay we have someone new with us tonight this is her first time here and her first time reading her poems she calls herself 'Mandy rose' ohh sexy so let's all be respectful and give it up for Mandy rose" everybody clapped as they saw her walk onto the stage Ben mouth dropped open as he saw her a short curvy woman with milk chocolate skin and a smile that could brighten up the whole universe if she wanted it to he was in love "damn she look good" one of his friends said " no doubt" another one said " I think Ben can agree to" Knox said "what? What did you say?" Ben said finally looking at his friends "man close ya mouth you over there drooling man" his friend said laughing "I'm not shut up" Ben said looking back at the stage "hello everyone like he said this is my first time so bare with me" Mandy said smiling "take your time" a woman in the crowd said "thank you this poem is called A Letter to my crush I really do hope y'all like it" Mandy said smiling and started reading

"thank you " Mandy said ending her poem and smiling as everyone clapped and cheered Ben sat there with his heart beating out his chest breathing hard her poem did something to him that he really liked " oooohhhh daamn girl that poem was hot the host said walking on stage everyone please give it up for the lovely Mandy rose!!!!" Smiling and laughing Mandy said "thank you guys so much" walking off stage Ben watched her walked back to her table with her friends as they cheered and laughed he saw her smile and rolled her eyes at them he saw her walk to the bathroom " damn man is you gon stare at her all night like wasup" one of his friends said hitting his arm Ben looking at him "huh umm imma go to the bathroom I'll be back" getting up Ben walked around people heading to the bathroom he pumped into someone" sorry excuse me" he said looking down at the woman who just got off the stage "it's fine" Mandy said "hey your name is Mandy rose right?" Ben asked " yeah" Mandy said turning around looking at him damn he was fine as all get out she thought "your poem was really good I really enjoyed it you got real talent is that what you do for a living?" He asked "um no that's just something I do on the side my friends made me come and read I'm actually a surgeon" she said smiling " oh for real what hospital?" Ben asked playfully balling up her face " I don't know you like that to tell you where I work" she laughed to let him know she was just playing "Nah I'm a anesthesiologist" " oh really you're a gas man mmm that's cute" Mandy said smiling and then walking away Ben opened his mouth to say something but he quickly shut it when he saw that she was to far away after using the bathroom Ben went back to the and told his friends about his interaction with Mandy rose " really man did you get her number or anything?" Knox said "nah I just told you she smiled and walked away man" Ben said " damn man don't sweat it she playing hard to get I'm sure you can pull one of these ladies in here cause ohhh there is a lot of baddies in here tonight damn" he friend said looking at a woman "yeah I guess you're right" Ben said taking a sip of her drink the poetry reading was over and everybody was leaving " aye y'all wanna grab some burger and fries or something?" One of this friends said as they walked to their car's "yeah, I'm down, let's do it ,yup" everybody else said they all pulled up to a burger shack that was around the corner from the lounge getting out their cars they all turned their heads as they heard a group of women laughing it was the lady Mandy rose and her friends " well I'll be damn Ben looks ike you got a second chance playa don't mess it up" his friend said laughing "man whatever...come with me to talk to them" Ben said looking at his friends they all looked at him and told him let's do it walking up to the group of ladies "how y'all beautiful ladies doing tonight" one of his friends said smiling they all stopped laughing and turned round to look at them " um we're fine I guess" one of Mandy friends said " well we saw ya girlfriend perform at the lounge and we just wanted to know if we could join you ladies?" The same guy asked " umm sure why not" the same girl said "sweet well my name is Marcus and this is Justin,Ben, Kevin and Michael" "okay um I'm Callie and these are my friends Arizona, Addison, Teddy and y'all know Mandy already" they all said hey to each other " we'll wait for you guys to get y'all food" Callie said smiling at Marcus " okay cool we'll be right back" Marcuse said winking at Callie "girl what the hell are you doing" Mandy said hitting Callie on the arm "yeah Torres why'd you invite them to sit with us" Teddy said "because their all fine and they all look single and we damn sure don't have no men in our lives" Callie said looking around the table "she has a good point" Addison said and Arizona agreeing " well who gets who?" Teddy asked " damn I didn't really think about that" Callie said " let them pick when they get back" Mandy said shrugging her shoulders "ohh yeah" the rest of them said together the men were coming back as the ladies made room for them Marcus sat next to Callie,Kevin sat down by Addison,Justin had Teddy,Michael had Arizona and of course Ben had Mandy they all had their own conversations going on Ben asked Mandy if she wanted to talk by the car a little hesitant she said yeah and they told their friends they were going by the car " you never told me what hospital you work for" Ben said leaning his back on the car " I didn't know I was supposed to tell you" Mandy with a little sass Ben laughed "do you mind if we sit in the car?" He asked "mmm I don't know you like that" " I'm a nice guy I promise Mandy" " Miranda" she said " what?" Ben asked looking confused "Miranda my name is Miranda" "oh okay Miranda" he said a little slow seeing how it sound which made her heart skip a beat " well Miranda my name is Ben and can we please sit in the car it's a little cold" he said smiling "oh um yeah sure Benjamin" her just saying his first name made him wanna pull her into his arms and kiss her clearing his mind he walked around to the other side and opened the door for her "thank you" she said smiling "no problem" he said Miranda got a text from Callie
Callie:where are you going?
Miranda: nowhere we are just going to sit in the car he got cold
Callie:oh okay be careful

"So..Miranda do you have a boyfriend or anything?" Ben asked " if I had one do you think I would be in here with you" she said smiling " you're right my bad" " it's fine I'm guessing you're single as well?" She asked laughing a little bit "yup..um I work at Mercy West hospital" he told her out of the blue " you really wanna know what hospital I work at don't you" she said laughing the sound of her laugh was like music to his ears "yes I really do" he said laughing with her " well I work at Seattle Grace" he nodded his head " see now that wasn't so hard" he said touching her hand smiling in her face and she did the same it was something about each other that drew them closer and closer until they kissed and Ben thank god that his widows were tinted Ben let out a small moan which made Miranda break the kiss " Miranda I'm sorry I guess I was enjoying it too much" smiling she said "it's okay I enjoyed it to actually" finally breaking from each other's eyes they heard knocking on the window Ben rolled down the window to see Callie and Marcus standing there " we gotta go" they said at the same time "what happened what's wrong?" Miranda asked "big trauma girl we gotta go now" Callie said opening Miranda's door " yeah come on man their calling us in to let's go" Marcus said rushing to his car after everyone got to their cars they were off to their hospital's
