It's been two weeks since the night at the burger shack "man I can't believe you didn't get her number" Marcus said "man shut up and did you get her friends number?" Ben questioned "No" "alright then leave me alone about it" Ben said "I don't think any of us got their numbers" Michael said walking up to them "shit speak for ya self I got Addison's number" Kevin said with a big smile on his face everyone else made a noise and rolled their eyes " don't be mad at me because I was thinking smarter" Kevin said laughing " I got surgery, yeah me too, yeah I gotta go, me four"they all said walking from Kevin "y'all just gon leave me cause y'all mad" he said laughing finally remembering something he ran after Ben " aye yo Ben..Ben slow down I got something for you man" " what is it Kevin" Ben said still walking " I got that girl Mandy rose number" stopping so that Kevin can finally caught up with him "damn man you walk fast " Kevin said catching his breath " what did you just say?" "No not that before that you said you got what" he said with a curious look on his face " ooohh I told you I play smarter so I asked Addison for Mandy rose's number for you because I had a feeling you wasn't gonna get it and I mean we did this so you could talk to her right?" " yeah man thank you" Ben said taking the peace of paper with the number on it and then dapping Kevin up " good look man for real" Ben said walking away Ben was finally done with his shift and on his way home at his apartment he took a nice warm shower and after he was finished he got dress and was in bed sitting there he was thinking about Miranda and her laugh smiling he picked up his phone and before he knew it he was calling her finally in his right mind he was about to hang up until he heard "hello?"her voice was so soft and beautiful all he could was smile "Hellooo?" Miranda said breaking him from his thoughts "h-hey" he said very nervously " um who is this?" Miranda asked " oh I'm sorry it's me Ben from the poetry lounge and the burger shack" " oh hey I didn't...how did you get my number" she said " your friend Addison gave it to my boy Kevin for me if that's okay with you?" "Really...that's fine with me" she said he could tell by the way she said it she was smiling "so how have you been?" He asked " I've actually been thinking about you...I mean..oh my god and you probably think I'm a weirdo or something right now" she said laughing a little bit "No no...I actually called you because I couldn't stop thinking about you now I know that may sound like a creep but it's true you are very beautiful and I wanted to know if I could take you out on a real date sometime?"he said smiling her end was quiet for a moment "M-Miranda are you still there?" Ben asked "yeah I'm here I'm sorry I just need a minute to think about everything you just said that's all" "did I say something wrong did I go to far did I-" "no Benjamin you didn't say anything wrong I would love to go out with you" she said laughing "oh god thank you I thought I said something wrong so are you free this weekend?" " Yeah I should have the weekend off" she said "good how about the poetry lounge I did enjoy hearing your voice up there maybe you can write me one and read it on stage" he said laughing "maybe I'll just do that" they talked on the phone all night until they both fell asleep
