AN: Okay. It looks like I need to be clear about something because I thought it would have been made clear, but some of you don't seem to get it. While I do understand your misunderstanding, I thought you would have seen it. Gary is NOT Gray. He's NOT ANY Fairy Tail character. He is OC.

After the festival, Natsu, Lucy, and Lisanna headed home. It was a pretty awkward drive. Natsu thought things would have been better between him and Lucy, but she's still acting distant from him. Natsu isn't entirely sure what he can do to help Lucy. So they went on like everything was normal. Lucy tried to focus on her work, but she keeps thinking back to Natsu.

"Hey, Lucy." Levy said. "So how was the festival?"

"Natsu actually went too." Lucy said.

"He did? That went against the purpose of going." Levy said.

"We actually slept together again." Lucy said.

"You did?!" Levy said. "Tell me everything that happened." Lucy took the time and told Levy everything that went on. Levy was shocked by some of it and she also found it kind of sweet. "Wow. Natsu really is something."

"Yeah..." Lucy said.

"So I don't understand something. How come you won't consider going out with him?" Levy said. "You two are already great friends, you get along, and it seems like you have a real connection. Sounds like you would be in a great relationship. So how come you won't even consider it."

"Because I don't know!" Lucy claimed as she buried her face in her hands. This whole thing seemed to be stressing her out and she wasn't really sure how much she could take.

"Lucy, just talk to me. What seems to be the problem?" Levy asked.

"I've known Natsu for a long time, but I never once saw him like that." Lucy said. "I'm not sure how I'm suppose to feel. Before, he and I were great friends. Now, everything is different."

"There must be something you feel to him. Why else would you let yourself take part in those moments with Natsu?" Levy said. "Maybe it felt so nice because there is something more between the two of you."

"Maybe, but I don't know." Lucy said. "During the first time, I was partly drunk. That might have had some part in it. Last time, I was probably caught up in the heat of the moment. It was almost like my brain stopped working and I gave into a forbidden desire. When he kissed me, it's almost like my mind goes blank. I'm just not sure what to do, what to think."

"Hold on." Levy said. "I think I might have an idea that could help clear things up. Natsu was always the one that made the first move that put things in motion. So what if you were the one that made the first move instead?"

"What do you mean? Are you actually encouraging me to sleep with him again?" Lucy said.

"Lucy, if you make the first move, if you're the one that takes control, you might be able to see how you really feel." Levy said. "If you find yourself truly enjoying it, if it's what you really want, things could change for the better."

"And if it turns out I don't? What if it turns out I just gave into something I shouldn't have?" Lucy asked.

"I guess that's just something you'll have to figure out." Levy said. Lucy wasn't sure about this, but if she has to to move on from all this, she has to. She just hopes this doesn't herself or Natsu in the process. As Lucy was trying to figure all of this out, she heard her phone go off and she was shocked to see who the message was from. "What is it now? Is Natsu beating you to the punch again and sending you love texts?" She laughed from the teasing.

"It's from my father." Lucy said. Levy was shocked about that as well. Lucy wasn't expecting to hear from her father, especially since they have a complicated relationship. As if Lucy doesn't have enough of that.

"What does it say?" Levy asked.

"He just heard about how my apartment caught on fire." Lucy said. "He says he's worried about me and I can come stay with him if I need to."

"Wow. That sounds like it would be big." Levy said.

"There's more. He knows how my dream is to be a real writer one day." Lucy said. "He's offering to help me out with that. This sounds like a great opportunity."

"But what about Natsu?" Levy asked.

"I've got enough to think about. I think I'll deal with Natsu first, then my dad." Lucy said. "If things don't work out well after this, I can always use that as a good excuse to go and see him." She just hopes it won't go so bad.

Natsu

Natsu was down at the fire department. He was trying to do some work as well, but he kept thinking about Lucy. He loves her and wants to be with her, but despite what they've been through, Lucy doesn't seem to want the same. That doesn't mean he's going to quit. He just needs to figure out how to really get to her.

"Hey, there." Sting said as Natsu came walking in.

"Hey, Sting." Natsu said.

"How was the festival?" Sting said.

"Fun. Gary was there too. I wasn't expecting to see him there." Natsu said.

"He was? Weird. He never mentioned he was going." Sting said.

"I think he was trying to make some moves on Lucy." Natsu said.

"Sounds like you have some competition." Sting said. "So how are things between you and your lady?"

"I'm not really sure. We've actually had a few moments, but it's almost like she's trying to stop herself from doing anything with me." Natsu said. "She's failing, but she's struggling."

"Well, there are plenty of other fish in the sea." Sting said. "You would know. You bait them and release them."

"That's the thing. I don't want another. I want her." Natsu said. Natsu wants to be with her, but he can't tell if Lucy wants that too. Natsu snapped out of his thoughts when he saw Sting with some paperwork. "What are you doing?"

"Nothing." Sting said as he tried to cover it. "Just working on a little project." Natsu just shrugged it off and kept going. Sting focused back on his work and he might be on the verge of finding something important.

Lucy

Lucy made it back to the apartment. While she was surprised to hear from her father, she had to deal with Natsu first since he's here. She might actually have to consider what Levy said. After she deals with Natsu, it might help her decide what to do about her father.

"Oh boy." Lucy said as she felt her face blushing about what she should do. "I might actually need a drink just to loosen up." She reached inside the fridge and pulled out a bottle of vodka. Once she grabbed the bottle, she got herself ready for tonight. Later, it became dark and Natsu came back to the apartment, but it was dark.

"Lucy? Are you home?" Natsu asked as he walked inside. He looked around and didn't see her, but he did spot the bottle of vodka on the counter and it was a fourth empty. "What's this doing out?" Natsu walked over to the counter and a door opened up behind him. "Okay, where's that light switch?"

"No!" Lucy called.

"Lucy? So you are here." Natsu said.

"Yeah, but don't turn on the lights." Lucy said. "I think...in the dark...sets a better mood."

"Better mood? Better mood for what?" Natsu said as he turned to her and was surprised at what he saw. He saw her wearing the same daring undergarments he brought for her from her apartment. It looked better on her than he imagined, especially with the moonlight shining through. "Lucy, what are you..." He stopped as she walked over and placed her hands on his face.

"Don't talk." Lucy said and she was the first one to make a move as she kissed him. Natsu just went with it unlike how Lucy would have reacted. As the two of them stayed like that, Lucy slid her hands down his body to reach his pants and opened it up. Lucy moved down his body and Natsu felt her lips on a different part of him.

"Oh god..." Natsu said as he leaned against the counter. He moved his hand down through her hair and didn't resist like Lucy might have. He didn't like it when it stopped with Lucy pulling away and standing up. "Lucy, what's going on?"

"I had to do this to see." Lucy said.

"See what?" Natsu asked.

"To see if this is what I really want, to see if I want this to be more." Lucy said.

"Do you?" Natsu said as he was hoping so. Lucy looked right at him...and she actually smiled.

"Yes..." Lucy said. Natsu couldn't believe it. After all this time, he finally gets to be with the one he really loves. Natsu kissed her again and Lucy had no resistance at all. He lifted her right off the floor and pushed her into his room. They landed on the bed and now they both had the equal amount of passion, two burning flames burning together. Natsu wasn't wasting any time as he removed all his clothes as fast as he could. As the two of them kissed each other with such passion, Natsu reached for her bra and yanked it right off with him tossing it to the side. He slid his hand against them and had a firm grip. "Hahaha..."

"Enjoyed that? How about this?" Natsu said as he turned her right around. He removed the last piece of clothing on her and Lucy felt him smashing against her from behind. He held her waist and she could feel him constantly pushing against her.

"Aw! Aw! Aw!" Lucy could barely take it as her arms gave out and her top half rested against the bed. She kept taking deep breaths and moaning as she could finally fully enjoy this feeling. It was almost too much as she gripped the sheets. "Natsu... You... You..."

"Save it for later." Natsu said as he pressed himself against her back and slid his hands up her side as he groped her. "You can tell me about it when we're done." He kept going at her like that and placed his lips against her neck and Lucy wasn't how much more she could take. She kept feeling Natsu pushed against her until she couldn't hold it anymore and she released what she was holding back with a loud moan. Lucy's legs gave out and the rest of her dropped on the bed with Natsu's half dropping with it. For the first time, Lucy enjoyed her time with Natsu without any doubts. "So I take it things are going to be different between us?"

"Oh yeah." Lucy said as she grabbed the back of his head and pulled it in so she could kiss him again. Finally, Natsu is with Lucy and Lucy is opened to the idea.

"Well, I think I'm just going to..." "Where do you think you're going?" Lucy said as she placed her hand and his and kept it on place of her breast. "Who said we were done?" She asked as she smirked and Natsu liked where this was going. Lucy lunged herself at him as best as she could in their position so she could kiss him again. The force actually knocked the two of them off the bed, but now Lucy has been completely taken in by Natsu's passionate flames and it felt so warm and pleasurable to her.
