Trick or treat
He had to admit that at the beginning of the night he didn't expect that, however, he was surprised when she appeared in front of his house in disguise. For him, scaring people for candy and stealing were the same thing,* so celebrating this western Obon * was not in his plans, but she managed to convince him otherwise.
She even managed to get him to dress up! As a ghost, of course, since, when the plan arose so suddenly, they had to improvise.
Meanwhile she looked so cute in that witch costume, he just accompanied her as a suffering soul behind.
But in the end, it had all been fun, going for a walk, eating something at the food stalls, * hearing the laughter of people, seeing the lamps in the shape of pumpkins, because yes, pumpkins were fine as long as they were not there in his food. Anyway, it was more fun than he thought it would be, even some people, wrapped in all that festive atmosphere, came to give them sweets, even though they were not asking for anything, but Tenten kindly received the sweets that they offered. Everything was being so funny that for a moment he regretted that neither Gai-sensei nor Lee were in the village.
Tenten was walking a couple of steps forward, apparently enjoying that atmosphere too, but they were already on their way home, and the night was about to end, or so he thought, at least until the moment she turned back to look at him.
- Neji! Trick or treat?! - she blurted out suddenly. What was all this about? He did not understand.
-Tenten, you know I don't have any candies to give you- He began to answer her calmly- Why do you ask ...
-Then trick- She replied with a mischievous smile on her face, and Neji's sentence was half finished, she had taken him by surprise and off guard by playing such an evil trick on him, or was it really sweet?
Without expecting it, she had kissed him, and followed this, she ran out of the place, getting lost among the people.
Meanwhile he just stood there, motionless for a few seconds due to surprise.
What had happened? Had she kissed him and then run off like a vile thief? Oh no, nobody steals from Neji Hyuuga.
That kiss had pleased him and left him wanting more, so he would have to impose order, and make her pay for her actions, but first he had to find her. Unfortunately for Tenten, she had decided to deal with the great Neji Hyuuga, finding her would not be a problem. Now it would be his turn to play the same game.
Things being that way, maybe Halloween wasn't as bad as he thought.

Obon or festival of souls, is the celebration that the Japanese carry out to honor the souls of their ancestors who have already died. It is a festival very similar to the Day of the Dead that we celebrate in Mexico on November 1 and 2.
In the case of this "Halloween" it is a mixture between Obon and western Halloween, similar to a matsuri or Japanese festival, like the one they perform in chapter 30 of Rock Lee no Seishun Full Power Ninden
This is a Drabble of my favorite pairing, as I've been wanting to contribute something to my OTP for a long time. It is lovingly made for all those who also enjoy reading about this couple (Maybe a little later than I planned, but my homework didn't let me start writing)
