Then Paw Patrol breaks up, Mayor Goodway is murdered, Adventure Bay is in turmoil. As the pups go their separate ways they are thrown into a complex mystery, where their enemies are their own friends.

2. Ryder

Chapter 2

Ryder

Ryder looked out on Adventure Bay thinking deeply about what had happened. He still could not believe it had happened he thought it might have been a dream. The Lookout was deserted aside from Ryder no one else was there. The Paw Patrol had broken up, and Ryder didn't know why.

He had left to get some treats for the pups, and when he came back all the pups were arguing. About what he did not know, but when asked what were then fighting about one by one the pups took off their pup tags and said "I quit."

Soon all the pups had left and Ryder was left alone in the field.

What happened next was equally as sad. Mayor Goodway came over to saw hi to the pups and give them a box of toys.

When Ryder told her that the pups had quit the mayor looked like she might cry, but then Chickaletta made a clucking sound and found a piece if corn to eat. Mayor Goodway then said goodbye and left.

It had all happened so fast and as Ryder sat in the deserted Lookout, he wondered what was the next step.

A plan may have many ups and downs, and so does life.
