Chapter 3

Mayor Goodway

Mayor Goodway walked away from the Lookout shocked about what Ryder had told her. She could not bring herself to believe that the Paw Patrol had broken up.

As Chickaletta pecked her corn. Mayor Goodway thought about what to do next. With the Paw Patrol gone, who would save cats stuck in trees, and help Farmer Al herding his pigs. Who would help her when Chickaletta was stuck on top of City Hall, and stop Mayor Humdinger from carrying out his dastardly schemes.

The Paw Patrol was a important part of Adventure Bay, and losing it... Well, it would be hard to cope without it.

As she walked up the steps of City Hall Mayor Goodway turned to look at the Lookout, and saw that dark clouds were rolling in. The weather agreed this was a sad day.

Then she felt a prick on her neck it felt like a small dart. She pulled it out and found it was a dart. She then noticed a familiar cat symbol on the side. The emblem of the Kitty Catastrophe Crew.

Mayor Goodway began to feel woozy and to her horror printed in fine print on the dart.

She suddenly felt weak and light-headed as she fell to the ground she felt eyes close, and her heart stopped. In the shadows, a small kitten leaped out of its hiding place and ran in the direction of Foggy Bottom.

We enter the world with our eyes closed, and we leave the same way.
