ANNABETH'S POV

It was our first day at Goode High School and I was pretty sure that it will be fun. I not only had Percy with me but also Jason, Piper, Nico and Will. We all were talking in front of Percy's locker, tallying our timetables, to our surprise, we all had almost same classes except some. Then a girl with dark hair and blue eyes walked up to us.

Then I realized that she was Rhea. A child of Aphrodite from our camp, I had always suspected that she had a crush on Percy but I didn't mind it. I once did the mistake of misunderstanding Percy by believing in the rumours that he had a crush on Rachel. Only then did Percy make me realize that after what all we had been through together, he would never cheat me. And most important of all, his fatal flaw was loyalty. He would never even think of cheating on me. She walked up to us and greeted us all normally. She kept batting her eyelashes, stocking Percy but Percy managed it well. Percy didn't even reply to her properly. Then the bell rang and we all moved to our classes. Our first class was Maths so we all (except Rhea) walked towards the class.

We all walked in pairs of three. Jason with Piper. Will and Nico. I walked with Percy, as usual. As we walked, all the girls kept staring at Percy and murmuring something about how hot he was. He surely is, and I don't even blame the girls, Percy is so handsome that any girl who sees him will fall for him head over heels.

"Don't worry, wise girl" he told me, "I am not thinking about leaving you so soon."

"How do you read my mind?" I asked him

"Just do" he answered with a smile and we walked to the maths class. Percy sat right behind me. I took all the notes while he kept playing with my curls. I like it when he does that. I did not leave him alone for the rest of the day except for classes.

PERCY'S POV

Weeks had passed since we joined Goode. It really is fun. Annabeth and I spent most of the time together. That day we were sitting in the library along with Will and Nico. I was completing my marine biology homework while Annabeth did her maths. I was really bored so I asked Annabeth if we can go out and catch some fresh air. "Um huh" was her reply. This usually happened with her when she is engrossed in her work. So I started to stare at her. She was so beautiful. No wonder so many boys had asked her out but she had turned down all of them without even looking at the guy. I was so lucky to have her.

"What?" she asked me and I came back to reality.

"What?" I asked her again

"You were staring me sea weed brain" she said

"Oh, sorry" I replied and started to act as if I was doing my homework. But then again after sometime, I started staring her. She again caught me staring and gave me a Percy Jackson do you want to be in trouble look and I went back to my work. Then again after some more time. I started pulling her leg, I mean literally pulling her leg towards mine. This time, she couldn't control it, "Excuse us Will and Nico" she said, "I need to have a talk with my boyfriend" then she caught my wrist and dragged me to the corner, behind the racks where we weren't visible to anyone.

"Look, I am sorry if I disturbed you" I said, "I will go away if you want me to"

She just smiled at me and put her hand around my neck. Then I kissed her and nothing else mattered. We were there kissing and enjoying each other when we heard the sound of someone screaming. We pulled up and turned to see a completely shocked and bewildered Rhea in tears.

I wasn't sure why she was crying. I looked at Annabeth whose ears were red. Then Annabeth spoke, "Uh, Rhea, what are you doing here?"

"I hate you Annabeth!" she screamed "I hate you!" and then she ran away. I didn't understand what was going on but Annabeth seemed to understand. After that incident, we walked to my car. A green BMW GT. You all must be wandering how I afforded that car. Actually it is a gift from my dad Poseidon. Will and Nico had left for our apartment. We caught up with Jason and Piper in the hallway. After that we drove to our apartment in silence. Annabeth didn't speak a word.

We reached to our apartment. We had all shared the rent. You all must be thinking where my mom, Sally and Paul are. Well they are here in the same town but I have decided to stay with my friends and my parents agreed with it. I was unable to sleep at night so I went to Annabeth's room. I knocked on the door and she opened it. She was wearing a crop top and denim shorts. Gods! She was damn hot. I couldn't help myself so I spoke, "Hey Annie. You are really looking damn hot."

"Shut up, Percy" she said blushing, "what happened?"

"I am unable to sleep" I replied, "What were you doing?" I asked her as I entered her room and sat on her bed.

"Me too" she replied as she lay down her head on my thigh

"I was thinking about the library incidence" I said, "Why was she crying, Annabeth? What do you think?"

"Because, seaweed brain" she said obviously, "She has a crush on you, and seeing both of us snogging didn't do her much good."

"Ohh" I said, feeling bad for Rhea

"But I don't know why girls are mad behind you" spoke Annabeth with a smile on her face

"Probably because I am hot and sweet" I replied jokingly

"Are you a guy or a soup Percy?" she asked, laughing and she sat next to me

"You know it better than me" I replied and then kissed her.

RHEA'S POV

I'll not give up! Rhea thought to herself. I'll have my first kiss with Percy right in front of Annabeth. She's gonna pay for making me cry. She is going to regret it. She thought, gritting her teeth. I am gonna play my last move.

She went out to the balcony of her room and silently prayed to her mom. Mom, I am going to ask Percy out tomorrow. Please do something and make him fall in love with me for at least a week. It is enough for me to make him really love me. And even after that if he doesn't love me, then I'll leave him and Annabeth alone. Please help me mom. Please.

Sooooo, Rhea has asked Aphrodite for a blessing. Aphrodite will surely give her child a blessing. But what will be Annabeth's reaction when Percy will fall for Rhea?
