Hey everyone! There is gonna be a twist in the story. I am soon going to bring CALEO in the story. I am also going to add some angst to the plot of the story. Hope you all enjoy it.

ANNABETH'S POV

She was strolling near the Canoe Lake when she saw Rachel.

"Hey Annabeth" said Rachel, forcing a smile on her face, "I got to know what happened with Percy. I am really sorry"

"Yeah, thanks" replied Annabeth. She was trying her best not to crack up every minute. Suddenly, Rachel started to emit green light and spoke in the old, raspy voice of the oracle-

"The son of the sea god is still unaware,

But of the fake lover, you beware.

While a true love's act shall save his life,

An act of fake one shall devour on his might"

Then Rachel collapsed on the ground and Annabeth stood there, struck with horror and amazement.

She got back to her sense and rushed towards Rachel. She helped Rachel up and they walked to the Big House.

They told Chiron about the Prophecy and Chiron immediately called a meeting. Annabeth sat near the ping pong table and kept sobbing while Rachel patted her back. An act of true love? Sure Annabeth loved Percy and he loved her back, bur after the incidence with Rhea and Kampe, some cold doubts had sprouted in Annabeth's mind.

What if she didn't love Percy as much as he did? What if her feelings had changed during the week? Was she faking the love for Percy or did she really love him? The questions kept sprouting in her mind making her more and more confused.

For the first time in her life, she seemed confused and that too about Percy. She was brought back to reality by Chiron who addressed the other campers and filled them in with the happenings.

Jason's face kind of illuminated after hearing the news. Even the others were having a smile on their faces. Even Chiron had a look of relief in his face.

"That's great!" exclaimed Jason, "So Annabeth just has to kiss him and he will be alright."

"Yeah" all the others agreed with him. Oh no! Shit! Annabeth had been half expecting this. She had not told anyone about the mixture of feelings in her heart.

She took a deep breath and spoke firmly, "No. that is not possible"

Everyone gave her a confused look, only Chiron seemed to understand the undertone in her voice who looked down at the table and sighed sadly.

Finally Jason spoke after 5 seconds, "You are kidding Annabeth" he asked, looking worried.

"No" she replied. Barely keeping her voice from cracking

"What do you mean by no!?" Jason exploded, "You love him! He risked his life for you. You have to kiss him. That's it!"

"I can't! Ok, I can't!" Annabeth screamed, breaking down, "I can't risk to lose him. Not because of me."

"Annabeth, are you in your senses" Piper asked her, her voice full of worry.

"I am! I can't do it!" sobbed Annabeth. Feeling like shit.

"God damn it Annabeth!" Jason shouted, "I thought you loved him. He is in such a situation because he tried to save you. And now you are refusing to save him. I feel pity on Percy" and then Jason stormed out of the room. He literally stormed out. Lightning crackled in his body.

Everyone else walked out of the room except Annabeth, Piper and Rachel. Annabeth kept sobbing in her knees.

After everyone was out, including Chiron, Piper asked Annabeth, "What's wrong? Tell me Annabeth, tell me"

Annabeth told about her mind's situation to Piper and Rachel between sobs. "I don't understand what is happening with me. I am afraid that it might kill him." She finished and then started to sob again heavily in Piper's lap.

"Annabeth" Piper spoke, "I cannot help you much in such a situation. All I can do is support you which I will do. The decision will be finally yours to make. I won't force you."

Annabeth gathered herself, sat straight and nodded at her.

"I'll go and think about some alternative. I will also make Jason understand." And then Piper left the room.

"An act of true love, right?" asked Rachel. Annabeth nodded and Rachel's face illuminated.

"Hey Annabeth!" she exclaimed, "What if we bring Sally to Percy and make her kiss him on the forehead or something? A mother always loves her child more than anything and the bond between Sally and Percy was really strong. What do you think?"

"You are a genius Rachel." And Annabeth hugged her. This was it. Percy would be saved.

They told the idea to everyone and they agreed. Though most of them were still mad at Annabeth, but Annabeth didn't care. Percy was going to be safe. This was all that mattered to her. She was really happy after a very long time.

Nico and Jason left for the town immediately. They would be back the next morning and everything would be fine.

But that night, Annabeth was unable to sleep. She kept thinking about how much trouble and pain she had caused Percy and all the others already. She didn't want to make them suffer more. She knew that it will be really hard to live without them all and that it will hurt Percy a lot but after dome time, they all will be fine.

She had made her decision. Tomorrow morning, as soon as Percy was okay, she was going to leave camp and move on to her Dad's place. She was going to get Percy out of this trouble permanently.

So today morning, after the breakfast, Annabeth told Piper about her plan. Piper started to sob and pleaded her to change her mind but Annabeth was firm. She wasn't going to bring any of them any more trouble.

They were interrupted by the arrival of Jason and Nico. Since Sally could not enter the camp borders, Percy was going to be shifted out for some time, where Sally could meet him.
