All the mistakes are mine but the characters are not mine.

Hey all! Another read here. Hurt!Thor and a little bit Steve. Caring-ish Tony, kinda.

Set Somewhere after The Avengers. Very AU.

"Don't touch that." Thor hadn't even touched it before Tony barked at him.

"I was not—" He began, but Tony cut him off.

"You were thinking about it." The two, Tony and Bruce, moved along their tables. Bruce moved a tiny chip from the table to where the small blue chip was sitting on the platform. The levels of gama radiation was extremely low at the moment but it wasn't safe to touch so Tony was trying to pick it up with different materials. Metal, glass, iron, steel.. all seemed to not work well.

"I was not." Now both of the scientists had their backs turned to Thor, who still stood there dressed in comfortable jeans and a loose top Steve had bought for him. Hair cut short, those long locks got in the way and enemy loved to pull his hair for some reason so he asked Steven to help cut it off and make it look like his. Of course, Steve helped in a heartbeat. At the moment the two had to share a room and the king bed because their floor was destroyed everyone had to move one floor up and there were no other rooms. Nat had to share hers with Wanda. Vision and Clint didn't mind sharing, Vision didn't sleep anyway he just kind of laid there with his eyes closed but mind awake. Most of them had to share a closet too. Clint wore Vision's new hoodies and Wana dabbled in Nat's lipsticks and makeup, but the girls enjoyed getting dolled up and doing each other's eye makeup since there were no mission anyway. It was good to let loose sometimes. They were recovering and fixing their home.

"I know you're a curious cookie, thunder, but the lab's out of question. No touch anything here." Tony wasn't even looking at him while he spoke, tapping away at the screen in front of him.

Thor looked over to the little blue rectangle with a blue orb inside of it. They found that it had to do with the tesseract. He's a god, he's also Loki's brother who played with these things often and pranked him with. Maybe.. he can just pick it up and do whatever the two Avenger wanted him to do with it? Steven always helped, he wanted to be like Steven and help too. People seem to like the Captain for that side of him. He can hold it for them, it can not possibly harm him. He's held the whole tesseract before.

"Anyway—" Banner turned once before he began speaking, much nicer than Tony "— did you need somethin—" Banner turned again to look at Thor who's fingers were mere centimeters away from the device.

Before Banner could even finish his sentence the thing exploded. Weirdly, in only one direction. The direction of Thor and threw him and everything on the table in that direction back against the wall. It was like a contained explosion with a small swirling black hole in the center. No, wait.. is that purple? A dark speckled purple hole? It happened so fast, Bruce swears he saw stars inside of it almost like a galaxy and then it sucked itself clean and disappeared immediately.

"THOR!" The lab shook just a bit. The fire alarm went off, Dum-E and butterfingers started moving around sprayed a few heated areas but there was no fire, just lotsa broken glass. Tony's head was spinning for a second. The blast scared him and he had slipped smashing his head on his own table. He was fine though.

Thor was thrown back, his body slammed the wall head cracking the thick glass and slid down slumped on his side. He didn't move again.

"Oh shit.. oh crap. Tony, he's not moving.." I mean, they were gods! They always just got up like nothing.

"Idiot! I told him not to touch it and now its gone and he's out cold!" Tony sounded like he didn't care but he moved quickly, demanding Jarvis to scan him. His finger moved to Thor's neck, there was a good pulse. Thank god.. some other god, since this one is not that smart.

"The Asgardian is just unconscious Sir. Possibly concussed. There are no other signs of distress or damage and there isn't any radiation." Tony and Bruce both sighed, letting go the breath they didn't remember they were holding. Tony slumped back, Jeez.

"Hey, did Thor come by earlier..? He said he was going to pick me up some painkiller, I got the worst migraine—"

Steve's voice came from outside the lab, he was talking like he knew the scientist and the philanthropist would be listening. The Captain looked disheveled, only having socks on and a tee-shirt that's two sizes too big for him. Maybe the god and him should switch. He stopped when he got about a foot away from the open door, glass half shattered.

"Holy crap.. what happened here?" His hand left from rubbing at the bridge of his nose to just lingering beside him. He hadn't even seen the god on the other side of the wall yet.

"Hey, just— stay there. There's a lot of glass here and probably some radiation even though Jarvis says we're fine. Thor's fine. He's just unconscious." Tony held up a hand while he explained. Telling the blond to stay put and stay back.

Steve's looked at Tony over the half wall, eyes wide and panicked. "Thor's what?!" He didn't stop and immediately stepped in to look at the left and seen Thor's unconscious body. He dropped to his knees fast and started calling for his roommate's name who did start to come around.

Tony rolled his eyes, "Great.. now the super soldier's probably got radiation. We're all just going to die a slow miserable death. Yay." Why were these two so much alike, neither of them listened to him.

"Sir.. there is no radiation." Jarvis reminded, Tony rolled his eyes again and helped Steve roll Thor over then help him sit up who immediately winced grabbing a hold of his head. Tony had left and appeared again with half a glass of water which the god sipped gingerly. There were a few apologies exchanged. Well, not much exchanged but just given from the god to the captain and the scientists. Who only hushed him and told him to relax.

"Guess if you hit it hard enough it will stay down." Bruce joked, Tony chuckled getting up. Steve glared at the Dr who's smile dropped and he helped Steve get the God to his feet a few minutes later putting Thor's arm around Steve's shoulder.

"I'll get you those special painkiller. I think Thor here will need them too." Bruce flashed a sympathetic smile before coming back to press a bottle into Steve's hand. They turned and slowly made their way out towards the elevator, Steve asked Thor over and over if he felt alright and if anything hurt and when they were out of ear shot Bruce spoke up.

"We just got lucky."

"Sure did. Now we know what it does and what it would've done if fired from those guns."

"I meant the radiation part, because it definitely has radiation but the black hole looking thing sucked it all in itself." Bruce looked over at Tony, a not very pleased look he was rocking. Did Tony care for his teammates at all?

"Oh— yeah, that too." Tony clicked with his mouth. He probably sounded like a careless person right now. He definitely cared, a little bit, and especially if it were his things and.. people who were part of the question. He also definitely told Thor to not touch it.

"You think you got it here? With the clean up? I think I'll go make sure the two of them settle in. Order them some food and drinks. Make sure everything is alright." Tony asked Bruce, more showed him the 'Look, I care.' face.

Bruce smiled, recognizing his attempt at being nice and sorry. It wasn't like him to be looking after people but he would do anything for the Avengers.

"Yea, I got it here Tony. You go ahead. I think I'll meet you in a few hours and help out." He smiled and nodded over to Tony who tossed back some peace signs and bounced. Why is he so awkward sometimes.

Tony wasn't careless, he just saw some things before the other. Sometimes he just forgot the order of things in his priority list.

That's a chapter! Hope you like it.

Review if you do, thank you!

You got to let me know if you need a chapter two otherwise this looks like a good The End to me.
