Miraculous Guardian.
A/N This is my first story please bare with me. Also I do not own any rights to the ladybug and this is based on the characters. I have enjoyed reading many of your adaptations and I want to share what is in my head. This does include reference to the NY episode and the final battle with queen bee.
Marinette:
It was a long trip to new York, no rest for a super hero. Things got confusing, it was so fast paced and so many things transpired that marinette just couldn't wrap her mind around. Luckily her parents let her be thinking she was just jet lagged from the trip when in reality she sat in her room staring at her recently acquired miracle box.
"Master Fu I wish I still had you to consult with, I don't think I was ready for this." Marinette whispered to her ceiling feeling overwhelmed. Tikki floated to her and sat on the miracle box staring deeply into her chosens eyes.
" Marinette, you haven't spoken much since we've returned. What is on your mind?" she squeaked full of concern.
"Tikki, I don't know how to process what happened in New York. And I think there are secrets I now know that part of me wishes I didn't." Marinette sighed.
"What do you mean Marinette?" Tikki Question.
"Tikki, when Cat noir renounced Plagg and ran away I….I I saw him for a split second. Oh Tikki I think I know who he is and I know why he didn't tell me he was leaving Paris I don't think he knew himself until the last minute and I was so hard on him. And I think I love Cat Noir." Marinette threw herself onto her pillow sob lightly while Tikki stroked her hair. After Marinette composed herself a little and wiped the last tear from her eye she looked at her little kwami and sighed. "Tikki aren't you upset? Won't I have to give you up if I am right? Aren't are identities supposed to remain a secret?"
"Marinette you are the new guardian, you can do whatever you want. If you want to know his secret and not give me up you hold the box, you can do that!" She cheered happily while waiting for Marinette to register what she just said. She added " If you want him to know who you are too, you can!"
" Oh Tikki, I don't know about all that. I'm so confused. Tikki I think I need some air!" marinette grinned at her little friend.
" Just say the words Marinette!" Tikki exclaimed!
" Tikki, Spots on!" Marinette shouted and ladybug emerged from her balcony and yo-yo'd away through Paris!

Adrien Laid on his bed trying to distance himself from his gorging cat kwami eating cheese in the center of his room they had brought back from NY. He looked up from his phone to see Ladybug swing by, she was looking through his window at him as she swung almost in slow motion passed his room,
After she passed Adrien leapt from his bed excited and a little worried, they hadn't talked much since New York but he wanted to get it all out now. Especially before there was another akuma attack.
"Sorry Plagg but M'lady awaits you'll have to finish your snack later. PLagg claws out!" Adrian said, plagg tried to protest but was sucked into the ring before there was to much complaining.
**Ladybug stooped on a rooftop concealed in shadow watching as her suspicion was confirmed. She blushed at the thought that this whole time she had been turning down Cat Noirs advances for Adrien for them to be one and the same. She face palmed herself for her own inability to see the truth sooner. She quickly yo-yo'd away and to the effiel tower where she knew he would soon follow.**
Cat noir leapt through his window and leapt from roof top to roof top sometimes spinning his baton for a little lift until he landed stealthily next to his lady.
"Hey Bug-a-boo, are you still upset with me over New York?" Adrien said sadly when she didn't turn at his landing to look at him.
"No Kitty, but I did realize a few things have changed because of that trip, I am still worried about them. But I think its time for things to move forward." Ladybug turned with a sly smile causing cat noir to raise an eyebrow. "Tikki Spots Off!" Lady bug said turning away from cat noir. "I know who you are Adrien I saw you run off when you renounced Plagg. Its not fair I know who you are and you not know me." Marinette spoke into her hands she decided she wanted this but was still so nervous she felt like she may be sick.
In one swift motion Marinette heard Adrien whisper 'Plagg,Claws in' and a leather claw'd hand wrapped around her just as it turned bright green and transformed into Adrien's hand. Adrien wrapped his arm around Marinette's waist and he rested his chin on her shoulder. She could feel his breath against her ear. "All this time." He whispered to her. "All this time my best friend has been M'lady? I could I have been so blind. Will you ever forgive?"
"Forgive you?" Marinette asked surprised turning in Adriens embrace to face him. " I should be asking you if you will forgive me? I found out your identity, I sprang mine on you, and I'm just Marinette. I am sorry" Marinette looked up into Adrien's face and was shocked to see pure love and pride practically shining in his eyes.
"Marinette, I Couldn't ask for a better partner and now seeing it's you and thinking back I know why you were chosen I just wish I had seen it sooner. Just Marinette, Don't say that again…please. Marinette and Ladybug are so much one and the same am mad at myself for not seeing it sooner. But other than finding out who I was why else did you decide to show yourself to me?" Adrien questioned.
"I am the new guardian, Tikki reminded me I could move forward how I felt would be best. I want you to be able find me like we could Master Fu. And I don't think I can be the guardian with out you." Marinette smiled. " After the battle with hawkmouth and queen bee he knows all of our friends were our allies. We still need allies but because he is getting stronger. And I don't want to recuit new people our friends fight well with us. I don't know how to move forward." She looked up concerned into his eyes realizing he still hadn't let go.
" I should've known it was you too seeing all of our friends were holders and you weren't in the lineup." Adrien chuckled but then turned serious for a moment and thought. "Well what I would do is see if some of our friends would be up to getting new kwamis at least for a while. Maybe start with only a couple of our friends" Adrien wiggled his brow and marinette knew where he was going with this. I think we owe a our Bff's a quick visit Marinette thought to herself.
"I believe there is a good movie playing tonight that a certain couple had invited us to….be a shame if we were late." Marinette suggested "Tikki Spots on!"
"I think they will be more shocked if you are on time more than finding out you're ladybug!" Adrien laughed "Plagg Claws out!" he said as a yo-yo hit him on the head mid transformation making both superheroes laugh as they swung away! They were a competitive duo and begun to see who could reach the movie theatre first. It shocked ladybug when cat went pole vaulting by and place a gentle kiss on her cheek. He caught her by surprise and she almost lost track of what she was doing and where she was going which made cat noir laugh out loud.
"There is my princess under the mask!" he chortled ahead of her landing catlike on the building next to the theatre watching their friends pace waiting on them to arrive. Ladybug slid in next to him watching in amusement as Alya checked her phone.
" How do you want to play this m'lady?" Cat noir asked.
"Lets give them a minute and see what they do first okay?" ladybug said with a coy smile playing across her face as an idea hit her while watching their friends. "Have your phone I have a feeling you will be called first!" she said.
Cat noir looked confused but did as he was asked pulling out his just as he saw Nino aggressively type in something into his phone and hold it to is ear. Sure enough cat noir's phone rang and he looked at ladybug confused. 'Answer loud enough so he looks up here at you.' She whispered. So Cat Noir accepted the call "Hey Nino whats up?" Cat Noir said
"Dude where are you between you and Marinette we always miss the trailers." Nino exclaimed
"Sorry, I've just been purrroccupied be there soon" Cat noir laughed and ladybug elbowed him in the ribs causing a bit of a commotion resulting in the couple to stare up in disbelief, and Nino to look down at his phone than look back up at cat noir waving at him holding a phone as well.
"You feeling ok dude? " Nino said not taking his eyes of cat noir while listening to the phone.
"Just Purrrfect!" Cat noir smiled evilly at Nino as lady bug laso'd the duo with her Yo-Yo and hoisted them up to the roof with them. Nino still held his phone to his ear mouth agape staring at cat noir slowly putting the piece together while next to him Alya was staring the two super heros down every emotion flooding her face at once until she picked one which seemed to be shock as she started stuttering and pointing. "you,you,you are you a. you must be, but that oh that means. But but noooo." She said a little stupefied. Nino started punching her arm gently trying to get the words out.
"Alya, I called Adrien. But cat noir answered. Why does he have Adriens phone Alya?" Nino asked
"m'lady shall we clue these two in or are you enjoying the show?" Cat noir asked his partner.
"Honestly I am kind of enjoying Alya stuttering since she has always loved teasing me about not being able to put a proper sentence together around you." Ladybug giggled. That confirmed everything for Alya- her best friend was ladybug, She launched into her arms hugging her than pulling away to look at her.
"This whole time its been you? You Gave me Trixx you knew I was Rena all along. And you saw me obsessing over you and you said nothing? I mean girl I get it because I never told you I was Rena but im impressed and a little sad that my detective skills arn't really what I thought they were." Alya half heartedly laughed.
"Tikki,Spots off."
Plagg, Claws in"
The foursome sat staring at each other silently for what felt like forever before Nino finally broke the silence. "We missing more than the trailers this time aren't we?" he said a little sad.
This lightened the mood of the group enough for them to discuss their next move.
It was time for the new guardian to assemble her team, and it was time for hawkmoth to fall.
