Miraculous Guardian

Chapter 2

The Super hero's decided time was of the essence as hawkmoth is now bloodthirsty for the miraculous like never before having had them so close at hand. It was no longer just about the ladybug earrings and Cat noirs ring, he coveted all the miraculous and the power they would bring. He was hunting the eagle necklace in New York and briefly had Master Fu's box and both were taken from him, They knew he would not take that lightly.

"Tikki, spots on!" marinette said quickly and a burst of pink light and a quick transformation brought back ladybug to sit in front of her trio. " I think we should take this meeting somewhere else, what do you say?" Ladybug asked.

"Plagg, Claws out!" Cat noir motioned for Nino to hang on to him. "To your balcony M'lady?" Cat Noir asked.

"I think that will be best." Ladybug replied grabbing Alya around the waist and swinging off into the Parisian sunset. They landed across the park from the bakery and dropped down into an alley. After making sure the cost was clear they maneuvered around buildings in a odd pattern so watching eyes would have to pay close attention to their movements to even remotely be able to follow them. They landed unnoticed behind the chimney next to Marinette's balcony, they dropped their transformation and leapt quietly through her trap door.

Marinette quickly pushed the boy's off the landing and past her Adrien shrine to her sitting area below. "Marinette try not to break us, we've already seen all the pictures when Jagged Stone was in your room remember- you can calm down. I have just as many photos of ladybug so I think we are both even on the creepy stalker front ." he added with a mischievous smile. Marinette turned a slight shade of pink before pushing it down and getting to business.

"Alya, Nino your secret identities have been revealed to hawkmoth meaning you can't be Rena Rouge or Carapace for the time being. We still want you by our side but I think to throw Hawkmoth off his game while still keeping our team we need to change things up a bit. I want you to choose a miraculous to keep for a while. What do you think?" Marinette questioned placing the round ladybug inspired miracle box on her lap. Nino edge closer intrigued by the offer looking at the many symbols along the box. Alya however looked a little sadden by the offer and brought her knees up to her chest. "Alya whats wrong?" Marinette asked.

"What about Trixx? I'll miss him. Won't he be upset being in that box while I wear another miraculous."Alya's voice wavered full of concern for her little Kwami it broke Marinette's heart but she knew this was the only way to keep her friend safe.

"Alya I am the keeper now you can see Trixx whenever you like. You can even consult with him now if you like, perhaps it will make this easier." Marinette said hoping the little Kwami would be helpful and knowing if it were Plagg she wouldn't offer the same option. Alya nodded her head looking a little happier and taking the necklace from Marinette. As soon as she held it Trixx appeared floating over to her and giving her cheek a small hug. Alya took Trixx away from the group to go discuss things leaving Nino Adrien and Marinette to the box. Nino was in deep conversation with Adrien pointing out symbols when something drew their attention Nino had been touching symbols that intrigued him when one he skimmed over opened with a blue glow revealing a nose ring. Adrien chuckled as Nino grabbed the nose ring "Great- Hey mom and dad instead of going to the movies I went and got a bull ring put in my nose." Nino laughed as he put the nose ring on. Once on a brilliant blue light luminated the room revealing a tiny bull kwami. Tikki and Plagg flew in quickly to exchange quick greetings with their friend Stompp before he turned his attention to Nino "Hello young one, My name is Stompp and I am the Kwami of the safe path." His voice boomed

"What does that mean, Safe path?" Nino questioned

"The power I grant you gives you the ability to make a safe space so to speak where the miraculous holders of your choosing can retreat from battle and recoup, recalculate their plan or to place innocent victims out of harms way. When you activate your power you have 30seconds to create a safe area in the shape and size of your choosing by running the perimeter and the area will remain until you release your transformation or your time runs out. If you would like to transform just say 'Stompp, Charge on' "

Nino raised an eyebrow at Marinette and Adrien both giving him a nod of approval to transform. "ok Stompp, Charge on!" The blue light started up Nino's back as a wolly hood flung over Nino's head revealing large horns out the side. Over his shoulder slung a bow and quiver revealing a single arrow with a string attached to the bow. Over his face a half masked covered his nose. The rest of the blue costume was form fitting much like the other super heros with heavy blue leather boots that resembled Cat Noir's boots. Nino eye'd himself in approval and played with his bows features attachment while Marinette and Adrien turned their attention to Alya. " What does Trixx think?" Adrien questioned

"Well, he said as much as he has enjoyed his time with me he knows in order to defeat hawkmoth I need another partner for a bit. We also agreed that the sooner Hawkmoth is defeated the sooner we could possibly be a team again, so lets do this!" Alya exclaimed Marinette took the necklace but let trixx linger with Tikki and Plagg while Alya looked over the box. Her eyes kept focusing on a certain drawer that almost had a red glow to it that set it apart for the red box. Alya barely ran her fingers over it when the drawer leapt open to reveal a bracelet with four rings attached to chains coming off it. Alya slid the braclet on, a deep reddish orange glow emitted a yawning tiger "Good evening! My name is Roarr. I am your Kwami. What is your name?"

"I am Alya, nice to meet you Roarr!" Alya said, Roarr nodded her approval. "My power grants you the ability to slow down your opponets, it does not work on other miraculous holders but it can affect those under a holders power. If you are ready to see- all you have to say is 'Roarr, get loud!"

"OK, Roarr, Get Loud!" Alya said as her whole body became enveloped in a brilliant red glow. Her hair twisted and braided in a zig-zaggy pattern making it look like stripes through her hair and two braids sat a top her head to look like ears, and orange mask with tiger stripes covered eyes, the bridge of her nose, and ran along her cheek to rest under her ear making her cheeks covered by the mask too. Her Orange suit had black stripes and she had a belted tail that was more round in comparison to Cat Noirs flat tail. The Rings on each finger grew claws on just the one hand and She carried a small wooden staff just a bit longer than the flute she carried as Rena but shorter than Cats staff. " I Am Rayures" Alya stated spinning her staff around the room. "hmmm, I am Taureau!" Nino stated.

(rayures in French means stripes and Taureau means bull)

"Roarr, get quiet" Alya spoke releasing her Kwami and allowing her bracelet to go into camouflage mode- the rings were no longer visible only the bracelet that had turned plain silver except for two jagged black lines in the center.

"Stompp, Stay calm" Nino said releasing Stompp from the nose ring, in camouflage mode the nose ring couldn't be seen by anyone but the wearer which made Nino feel a bit better. The kwami's all sat together up on Marinette's catching up with the newly woken Kwami's.

"Well what now?" Adrien asked Marinette reaching over to squeeze her hand. Marinette grinned at the affection and turned to smile at him.

"Now we wait for him to appear again, we prepare and we continue to save Paris. The four of us!" Marinette stated matter of factly.

My Miracle box will be complete one day with Dusuu and Nooroo in their rightful place again Marinette thought to herself feeling more energized than she had in awhile!
