Guys I am starting to have a cold feeling that you all are not loving me anymore. Please don't let that truly happen! I love you all. (Sob sob) I will still keep writing.

TIME SKIP: - eight months later

ANNABETH'S POV

Annabeth woke up to the sound of alarm. It was Sunday. She was having a date. She had decided to give a try to another relationship, hoping that it will help her to forget her painful past.

Eight months had passed since she had left Percy. Eight bitter and sorrowful months. She was unable to keep Percy out of her head even for a split second.

Every day. Every minute. Every second. Every moment she only had one name in her head. Percy Jackson. The name was itself giving her a reason to live and at the same time, was killing her slowly. Poisoning her insides.

Sure she had had some good times with her family. The time had made her bonds stronger with her family. She had got to know better of her brothers. But that was only momentary. The only thing that was with her permanently was pain.

Gathering herself out of her thoughts, she checked her watch. She wasn't running late, she had enough time to get ready.

She got up and freshened. She put up a high waist black jeans with a grey crop top. She tied her hair in a ponytail and messaged Ryan to tell him that she was ready to go.

He replied that he will be there in 10 minutes. She laid down in her bed once again. High school was over. Summer had started. Usually summer filled her up with joy and excitement but not this time. This year, the only thing summer brought her was tension.

She sighed and started to scroll through her email. The doorbell rang and she went to the door. Sure enough it was Ryan.

"Morning" he said with a smile

"Morning" Annabeth replied, though she was sure that her smile wasn't a lovely one, it was more of a forced one. But that didn't seem to affect him.

That was Ryan. Always with a go happy attitude, that is the reason she had decide to give him a chance. He had never given up on her.

He had had a crush on her since the first day and after eight months, Annabeth had decided to give him a chance. They walked to a park of his choice.

Shit! The park triggered more of her unwanted but dear memories. She had brought Percy to this park once. They had been here all day long, enjoying each other's company.

The memory brought tears in her eyes. She quickly turned away and wiped her tears before Ryan noticed them.

"Hey" said Ryan, "I think we should sit over there on that bench"

Annabeth nodded in agreement and they walked to the bench. She was still thinking about Percy. What the hell was wrong with her? She had decided to give Ryan a chance.

Thinking about Percy, she was cheating Ryan. She couldn't do that to him. She should at least give him a chance. Maybe she should tell him about Percy.

PERCY'S POV

Here he was, standing in front of Camp Half Blood. The sight brought back good as well as harsh memories.

It had been seven months, 26 days and 3 hours since she had left him. The time since then had been hard but not impossible. His friend had helped him out a lot.

Leo and Calypso had returned and joined them at high school along with Reyna, Hazel and Frank. They all had returned to camp a day earlier.

Percy had decided that he will meet his mother and then head here. He hadn't met her since he had gone to take her blessings before going to Underworld to again bear the curse of Achilles.

Yup that's right, he was once again invulnerable. He did not like to think about his mortal point because whenever he thought about it, he thought about Annabeth.

Somehow unknowingly, when he was in the Styx, he had again imagined Annabeth as his mortal point. The memory again brought back tears to his life.

Percy wiped his tears and shook himself out of his memories. You are going to live for yourself. He reminded himself and walked in.

He was greeted by everyone who saw him. The campers had actually gathered to welcome him. They had been unable to bid him proper good bye last time because back then he was pretty shaken up and some had come back only after the last summer.

He was greeted by the Strolls, Clarisse, Chris and many others. Thankfully no one brought up the topic of Annabeth and he was really happy for that.

All he needed now was to start thinking about Annabeth again and roll on the ground weeping. I greeted them all back and headed to the Big House to meet my mentor.

There they were, Chiron and Mr D were sitting at the table playing pinochle.

"Percy! My boy" said Chiron as soon as he saw Percy. He got up and hugged Percy. Percy also felt good to be back.

"Hello Perseus Jackson" said Mr D not even sparing Percy a look, "How you doing?"

Percy was used to this but the fact that Mr D was pronouncing his name correctly made him smile.

"I am good, sir" replied Percy with a smile, "Thanks for asking"

Percy played a game of pinochle with them and after that returned to his cabin. He freshened up and headed towards the beach. He sat near the water, bare foot and cross armed.

It was then when he realized that he was being watched. He uncapped riptide and got up, he pointed his sword to the figure and shouted, "Who is it? Show yourself!"

The black figure descended into appearance and Percy's eyes narrowed.

"Rhea?"

Come on guys, I need some more reviews and views. Pleased do not let me down. I will post the next chapter soon. This is going to be a bumpy ride for Percabeth. Till then, Stay home, Stay safe and Keep reading.
