Guys I am really sorry for the late update. I was going to update yesterday but I faced something really unexpected. I broke up with my girlfriend (Sobs). I really loved her but that just happened. We were together for almost 20 months. It is really hard for me. But it's done, so now you all are my only love.

PERCY'S POV

Here he was, standing like an idiot while Jason kissed Piper goodbye. It was long enough to get really awkward for Percy. He just shifted his gaze to someone else. Chiron had bid them fair well and was now off to work.

Again, Annabeth's memories flooded back. What was wrong with him nowadays? Why was he thinking more and more about Annabeth?

He just couldn't help it. Since he had returned to camp, he had started to think more and more about her. All those beautifully bewitching pain giving memories kept coming to him.

He shakes himself out of his memories for the millionth time since morning, just then his eyes fall upon a hastily freshened Rhea sprinting towards him.

Jason and Piper were now embracing each other and Piper had tears in her eyes. He felt bad for her. He wanted Jason to stay with her and go on this quest alone, but as much as he wanted to do so, he was better aware with the truth. He had to take Jason with him.

Jason kissed her again in a calming way. Percy again remembered the times when he and Annabeth would keep snogging and cuddling and talking for hours, without getting bored of the latter's presence. He was once again lost in his memories.

He was brought back to reality by a panting Rhea who was standing straight in front of him.

"Percy" she panted, "we- we need to talk huh huh" she was breathing really hard. Percy wondered what made a child of Aphrodite run across half the camp in such a disguise.

"Yeah" he agreed, "We need to" he walked her out of Jason and Piper's earshot and handed her some water, being the gentleman he was. Well, at least the chivalry want dead, even though it was for Rhea.

He should not be thinking sour for Rhea, it was not in his nature to be mad ay someone for so long, but he just couldn't forgive her for what she did. He had told her that he had forgiven her but still.

She had done something that Percy was still suffering from. Of course she was blinded with love, but how can someone do this to a person whom he/she loves? Isn't that cruel? How can someone even think about hurting someone whom he/she loves?

What Rhea had done was unforgivable. Even if she had taken his life, he would have under some circumstances, forgiven her but not for what she did. She had taken Annabeth away from him. His Annabeth.

Though he blamed Annabeth for leaving him, deep inside, he equally blamed Rhea for the wrong doing. He had never thought that he would be mad at his Wise girl.

Rhea wasn't solely responsible for what happened, but she was equally responsible. And as far as he knew his Wise girl, she must have had some really convincing reasons to leave him behind. Or maybe he was thinking too good. Whatever may it be, Percy was the one suffering.

"Listen" Percy started in a tensed tone and he could easily sense Rhea's growing anxiety from her expressions. Annabeth had taught him to do that. Again Annabeth!

"I was thinking about you" he continued in the same tensed tone. His eyebrows ceasing.

"You were?" Rhea's face illuminated upon hearing the words. Her lips turned into a wide smile. He did not like to steal away people's smile, that wasn't him. But still, he had to clear the air. Even if it was going to hurt a lot to Rhea. He couldn't keep her waiting for what was never to come..

RHEA'S POV

Oh my gods! Rhea squealed inside her mind. Here was her prince charming telling her that he had been thinking about her for the whole night. Of course, knowing the reality that her dream was just a dream had shattered herm but this would compensate everything.

Her joyous feelings soon made an exit.

"I am sorry for you Rhea" Percy spoke as he looked directly into her eyes. His sea green eyes weren't as calming as ever. He had changed a lot since Annabeth had left him but he was still perfectly perfect for her.

"Wait, What?" Rhea's expressions turned into a thousand ones. All sad. "What are you for?" she asked in a dreaded tone.

"Rhea" Percy started, he did not break eye contact with her, "It is true that I have forgiven you" his expressions were now even more tensed, "but I don't love you. I never did and never will. It's just that I am not completely over Annabeth. And after what you have done, I think you have messed up your chances with me. I will always be there for you, but as a brother. I will always protect you but as a brother. I will always love you" there was a longer pause this time, "but as a brother"

Tears made their way down Rhea's cheeks. She let them flow freely. Did Percy just openly and officially reject her? Did he call her his sister? Why?!

"Percy" Rhea started, controlling her sobs, "I really love you, I am sorry for my wrong doings but I still love you. I need you. I am ready to wait for you my whole life, even if you will not return" she was now openly crying, not giving a fuck about the outside world, "Just give me something, even a false assurance, don't leave me, please Percy, I love you" she pleaded.

"I am sorry Rhea, I really am" Percy spoke as he shook his head. He placed his hand on her shoulder in a reassuring manner. He warm in a brotherly manner.

"Hey Percy, we better leave" Jason called from the distance

"I gotta go, sis" those were his last words as he left her there, sobbing and enjoying the excruciating pain if the sole solitude.

"Nooooooo!" she screamed as she fell down and hugged the bottle that Percy had given her. She was flabbergasted, broken, betrayed, broken, shattered and a million other things.

"Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!?" she screamed once again.
