1. Chapter 1

EXT. A Park in French Lick, Indiana - DAY (Scene 1.1)

French Lick Police Chief Sawyer looks over the mutilated body of the latest victim, Claudia Campbell. The dumpsite is a public park and it's early in the morning. A horrified early morning jogger had spotted the body and frantically called 911.

Sawyer was relieved that it had been a 40 year old man who'd seen the body and not a young, impressionable child as the park, like the other dumpsites, were family favorites. He'd taken his own children there when they were young and it marred the memories of his now grown children's childhood. There was blood on those memories now.
