Wowie it's been a whole decade!

When I started on Ninja Tales back in late 2009 (though I only started uploading chapters in 2011), I was still pretty new at writing in general, and as I wrote Yuki's story, I realised there was no way I would able to write out the initial plot I had for her without making her a total Mary Sue.

Just as I was about to give up hope in 2013, I met Aidan (AKA ACSywalker). After noting some of my issues with the fiction he proposed the idea to have 'Ninja Tales' officially become a part of his 'Walker' series. Turns out this series is a collection very intricate stories involving fandoms being parallel universes, time travel and more. And with the way he wrote the lore, I could loosely follow the initial plot ideas I had without butchering Yuki's entire character. Yay!

Unfortunately, I'd already written myself into a corner at that point, so I'm starting over completely.

With Aidan now studying filmmaking, I not only learned how to write compelling characters, but also how to pace myself and how to divide arcs up properly to flow better.

Rather than deleting this old version entirely, I'm keeping this as motivation to keep writing.
However it does contain MAJOR spoilers and I'd rather have you guys read the nicer improved version than spoil the good stuff in such an unflattering way, so I removed all the old chapters.

Naturally I downloaded a backup so I can remind myself what NOT to do XD

Thank you for all the support I've gotten on Ninja Tales over the years (even after I stopped posting). Each review, follow and favourite, I deeply appreciate each and every one of them. I was once about to give up on this story all together, but some of you guys never gave up on me :)

Especially you, FoxKid1302, your reviews played a major role in how much I've improved :D

PSS (Update: 18 June 2021)

I've been getting people asking me when I'm going to do the rewrite...which means people don't read my notes EVEN WHEN THEY ARE IN BOLD!

The rewrite is already up as a new story (Volume 1 is about a 3rd done - with 9 chapters - as I'm writing this note).
