Thank you all for your love. I am really very happy. Anyways, let us not keep the story waiting.
PERCY'S POV
Oh. So he is Ryan. Well, so be it then. Thought Percy. His sword was nearly the same length as Percy's. His was made of Imperial Gold whereas Riptide was Celestial Bronze.
Percy went in for an upwards blow that was easily blocked by Ryan. Ryan attacked Buy Percy didn't find it worthy of defending, he let Ryan's blade come down on his neck.
Ryan was smiling but it disappeared as soon as it came down. Percy was having an uppercut because of the curse of Achilles. Ryan looked amazed. Then realization dawned his face.
"How!" he bellowed, "How! Your curse had been washed away when you crossed Tiber! Then how!"
"Looks like you are outdated, wonder boy" Smiled Percy, "Now it's my turn" and Percy charged him. Percy remembered the time when he had defeated Ares. The lessons Luke gave him. The time he battled Kronos.
Ryan was no match for any of his previous opponents. Yet, Percy had defeated all of them. Then who the hell was Ryan to outsmart him!?
Percy was the best swordsman of the last century. Percy kept attacking and Ryan kept deflecting. Ryan looked like he didn't expect Percy to be so good.
The thing was, Percy was the same. He was only a lot angrier as well as confident this time. He had one definite goal to save the love of his life.
Percy was now attacking with so much force, that with each blow, Ryan was moving backwards. Ryan looked rather exhausted now, wary. Percy brought his blade for an uppercut that Ryan merely managed to block.
Percy took the advantage and did a backflip. His leg kicked Ryan's chin and he landed safely. Ryan staggered backwards. Blood streamed down Ryan's face.
Ryan now looked angry. He spit the blood and attacked. He attacked so brutally that Percy instinctively felt the need to block the attack despite his invincibility.
Riptide kept moving, mostly for attack, but sometimes even for defence. Percy tried to kick him in the gut, but Ryan had anticipated the move.
He quickly stepped back and did a backwards slash. The slash had so much velocity that, when Percy blocked it with his blade, Riptide slipped out of his grip.
He looked at Ryan in disbelieve. How did it happen? Percy had been a fool to block the attack. Ryan could have never known his mortal point.
Ryan smiled wickedly, "you might ne invincible, but you still feel exhausted." He attacked Percy with his blade that Percy blocked with his right forearm. Thank god he had bathed in The Styx.
Ryan tried to penetrate his blade straight in his chest, but Percy caught his baled a millimetre away from his chest. He twisted the blade, forcing it out of the latter's grip.
Percy punched him hard in the face. Another stream of blood made its way down Ryan's face. He then kicked him in the chest and Ryan flew a few feet away.
Percy picked up Riptide and walked towards Ryan. It had started to rain now. Percy had won. It was clear. But he wanted to know where Annabeth was.
He took Ryan's collar and set the blade against his throat.
"Tell… me… where… is… my…. Annabeth" Percy asked through gritted teeth. Ryan laughed even more.
"I knew that you will win" Ryan spoke like a maniac, "But Camp Half-Blood will lose" he laughed.
"What?" Percy interrogated, "How come will you attack half-blood hill?! Your army is here!" Percy tensed, shaking him harder. Ryan kept laughing.
Why was he talking like this? How will he attack my camp? He is here, army is here. Wait. Realization dawned Percy's face.
"Where are the Titans!?" bellowed Percy, "Where is Annabeth?"
"Annabeth….." Ryan whispered, "Is coming to you" he weakly pointed upwards. Percy's head shot upwards to see a harpy throw down an unconscious Annabeth.
"NOOOOOOOOO!" yelled Percy as he tried to catch her. But it was too late. Annabeth's limp body fell on the ground with a thud. Percy ran to her side.
"Annabeth!" She was not responding. Percy tried to listen to her heart breath. Nope. Nothing. He tried CPR. Still nothing. Shit!
"Noo! Annabeth you can't leave me like this" Percy sobbed. "Ahhhhhhhh" the rain that was coming down solidified into ice and pierced all the monsters, turning them into a pile of golden dust. Percy had unknowingly did it.
Jason, Piper and others rushed to his side. Jason sent a small surge of electricity through Annabeth, Nothing.
"Annabeth, wake up, Please!" spoke Piper putting all her charmspeak into it. Thalia placed her hand on Annabeth's forehead and murmured something under her breath.
Annabeth's body began to glow silver, her chest rose up and fell down, she murmured something.
"Percy" Annabeth spoke, still not in her complete senses.
She was alive! Yes! Percy had never been so happy and relieved at the same time. But Percy also had to save others.
"Camp Half-Blood is in danger" he spoke, "I have got to reach there straight away." No one asked him questions or for an explanation.
"But how ill I reach there?" there was no way he will be able to reach there in time.
"Easy peasy" Hazel smiled. She called, "Arion!" within seconds, Percy was standing in front of the world's fastest horse.
"You will never make it, Percy Jackson" Ryan staggered towards him with ha bloody face, "I have won and you have lost" he smiled.
Percy didn't even think twice before cutting clean his head from his neck.
"Not yet" Percy spoke, "Not so easily" with that he mounted the horse.
"Take proper care of Annabeth" Percy told the group, "I don't want anything to happen to her, please"
They all nodded, "You have my word, Percy" Jason spoke firmly.
Percy nodded and kicked his horse into action.
