EXT. JJ and the Adamses at their home - DAY(Scene 2.4)

JJ knocks on the door. The house is nice, but modest. It fits right in the middle-upper middle class neighborhood of the small, mid-western town.

There's two cars in the driveaway, one an older model station wagon (probably the car Mrs. Adams had driven when her children needed to be shuttled to playdates and soccer games) and the second car a nicer, newer sports car. The father's car, JJ deduced.

The door opens to reveal an older couple, clearly distraught with grief but well dressed. Mrs. Adams wore a maroon draped sweater and black pencil skirt, complete with pearls and kitten heels.

Her classy outfit made sense with what Garcia's file said about her; She'd grown up wealthy on the east coast before meeting Mr. Adams, who grew up more modestly in Indiana, during their years at Notre Dame. Mr. Adams was the picture of the average American dad, in neat jeans and a tan quarter zip over a white button down.

JJ felt underdressed in her jeans and sleeveless blouse, but she was more focused on the fact that they wore sweaters in this spring heat, indicating they had no plans to leave their air conditioned home. Also, JJ realized a long time ago that the glock on her hip dressed up any outfit.

JJ [speaking with a soothing voice]: Hi Mr. and Mrs. Adams, my name is Jennifer Jareau, I'm with the FBI. Can I ask you a few questions about your daughter, Eleanor.
