Hey all! It has been long, hasn't it? Well, here I am! I am going start with the story now. Well, I would like to caution you all that the climax of the story, the FINAL PERCABETH REUNION, is coming in.
CALYPSO'S POV
Leo and Annabeth were soon a dazed spot in the endless sky. The sun also didn't help with her eyesight.
"When did he make that?" Piper asked Calypso, hoping for a satisfactory answer. Her eyebrows raised in a quizzical manner.
"I wonder" replied Calypso nonchalantly. They rode in silence after that. Calypso was as worried as Annabeth. The only difference was that Annabeth could openly express her feelings.
Calypso had loved Percy since she first saw him. Surely, she loved Leo now. But it was more because of the curse on her, and because of the fact that Leo was the one who had freed her in true means.
But Percy was her true love. She still loved him, but she had learned to bury deep her feelings. She had told Leo that she still loved Percy. She didn't want to cheat on him. She wanted Leo to know the fact that he was always a rebound for Calypso.
Leo was surely disturbed but had been good after some time. Calypso also had started to believe the fact that she now loved only and only Leo and not Percy.
But today, in these hardening times, her deeply buried feelings popped out. Her feelings for Percy. But she also had accepted the fact that Annabeth and Percy were made for each other.
Annabeth truly loved Percy and so did Percy. They both had been through so much together. Calypso's love for Percy measured less than that of Annabeth for him. And Calypso deeply respected that. However painful it may be.
"Tempest, Frank" Jason spoke, "Go as fast as you can. We will help in whatever way we can" Frank and Tempest nodded and they went zoom.
ANNABETH'S POV
Festus helped them reach faster than usual. She hopped down Festus and thanked Leo, who smiled.
"Don't thank me!" he said, "I will still kill you if anything happens to our Percy" he smiled, "Now go! Complete your love story!"
More words weren't needed to convince her. She quickly dashed towards the big house. Her heart a mix of emotions. Strong ones that she had been carrying for 10 months
Angst. Joy. Sorrow. Excitement. Guilt. Happiness. Fear. Delight. The negative ones were there because she was the one because of whom all this had happened. The root of the problem.
She was responsible for the present situation of Percy. She felt like damned Shit!
But at the same time, she was excited. Excited to see her Percy. Her sea weed brain after nearly 10 months. The potion of joy kept bubbling inside her.
The flame that kept the potion bubbling was that of hope. That flame was being toyed with by angst. The wind of dread. The coldness of feeling and being alone.
Annabeth shook her head. I have to save Percy. I will save him. Nothing can take him away from me. He is mine. She thought as she dashed harder. The evening braze rushing against her face.
She jumped up the stairs of the Big House. "Chiron!" she said looking around, panting hard. She was unable to find Chiron anywhere.
Much to her surprise, she found a dull Rachel sitting in a corner. Weird. Rachel was never dull. She was always full of energy.
"Rachel?" asked Annabeth sceptically. Rachel's head shot up on hearing the familiar voice. Her face immediately glowed as her eyes rested on Annabeth. Annabeth was unable to tell how Rachel was feeling.
"Annabeth!" she exclaimed as she ran towards Annabeth, tackling Annabeth with a bear hug. Annabeth obliged to the unexpected gesture.
Annabeth had never expected this. Rachel pulled away and started, "Annabeth, Percy needs you"
"I know" Annabeth said, her eyebrows immediately tensed.
"No you don't" Rachel cut her a little but angrily, "Percy was stabbed in his mortal point. We all were shaken up. Even Chiron. We didn't know what was to be done." Her eyes became moist.
"It was then when I blurted out the stupid Prophecy." Rachel completely broke down, cursing herself.
"What did the prophecy say?!" asked Annabeth worried
"It was the same prophecy to which you refused to oblige to" Rachel shook her head.
"I told them to wait. I told them that Rhea wasn't the right person to do so." Rachel sobbed, "But even Chiron said that we did not have any other option" Realization dawned Annabth's face.
"That Percy had to be kissed by her" Rachel completed.
"No!" Annabeth was shaken up after hearing this, "No! She can't kiss Percy! He will die!" exclaimed Annabeth at the harsh possible outcomes.
"Die?" asked a puzzled Rachel. She surely hadn't yet got Annabeth's point.
"The son of the sea god is still unaware,
But of the fake lover, you beware.
While a true love's act shall save his life,
An act of fake one shall devour on his might" Annabeth repeated the prophecy as she put all the remaining puzzle pieces together.
It was a sure shot plan to ensure the death of Percy. And Rhea wouldn't even get blamed. Annabeth would be devastated and the remaining 5 will be dead fighting and the Titans would win! Annabeth couldn't help but admire the plan.
"That was the prophecy, right?" asked Annabeth. Rachel nodded in agreement.
"An act of fake love shall devour in his might! Rhea is the fake lover! She is the one who stabbed Percy. She is the one who sent the others to Camp Jupiter so that Camp Half Blood will be un-guarded. And kissing Percy in order to kill him is the last and the most crucial piece of her master plan"
Rachel's eyes widened in realization.
"Please don't tell me that she has kissed Percy" pleaded Annabeth, expecting for a positive answer. For she would be as good as dead if the answer would not be in her favour. What would she do if Percy died?! No! Annabeth refused to let such thought enter her head.
"No" answered Rachel, "But she will in the next two minutes." Rachel added eyeing her watch,
Annabeth dashed once again out of the Big House and to the Infirmary. She reached there in thirty seconds. Her body was working in over drive. Her mind racing at the speed of an F1 race car.
The crowd of demigods that had gathered around the infirmary to witness the action made it harder for her to wriggle herself inside the room.
Everyone gasped as she made way for herself. She reached the inside of the room, only to see a devastating sight that made her wish that it was just a dream and that she would be awake in the next few seconds.
Percy was lying on a bed, soaked in blood. They must have been unable to stop the bleeding as it was from his mortal point and Will was at Camp Jupiter
Chiron was standing in a corner with a gloomy face. Rhea was sitting on the side of the bed. This was the thing that infuriated Annabeth.
"Get away from him!" yelled Annabeth as she launched herself on Rhea. Rhea was caught in surprise by Annabeth.
Rhea tried to gather herself for a combat but Annabeth didn't throw her a chance. Years of her training proving useful once again. She kicked Rhea hard on her chest. Rhea groaned as blood spurred out of her mouth.
Annabeth then again kicked her brutally on the face, breaking her nose with a loud crunch.
"Bitch!" shouted Rhea as she rolled around in pain. Annabeth was using all her will power to control her anger and not kill Rhea.
"He will die!" shouted Rhea, "And you will be the cause for his death!" all the campers gasped. Rhea spat out more blood. Her face was lined with streams of blood.
Annabeth understood what Rheas was trying to do. She was trying to turn the odds on Annabeth, so that everyone will blame her! And Rhea would be safe! Annabeth started to walk towards Rhea.
"Oh yeah?" countered Annabeth, "But I wasn't the one who stabbed Percy! it was you" another gasp from the crowd, "I wasn't the one who planned to send the best demigods to Camp Jupiter and ensure a safe attack of Titans on Camp Half Blood!" Chiron was also fuming with anger now, Annabeth crouched next to her.
"I wasn't the one who sided with the Titans! It was you!" and with that. Annabeth punched her on the nose, making her unconscious.
Annabeth turned towards Chiron, her eyes conveying a clear message. Chiron nodded and Annabeth turned towards Percy.
Her eyes swelled up with tears as she saw Percy. The love of her life. The most important person in her life.
His face was as handsome as ever. His hair as unruly as ever. She bent low near his bed, ready to kiss him.
And then it happened. That moment of bliss when Annabeth would be teleported to Elysium for some time. That moment when two cosmic entities would collide into each other. That moment when an unstoppable force would crash into an immovable object. That moment when their lips would touch!
