13. Chapter 13

INT. Hotch and Sawyer in the Police Department Hallway - DAY (Scene 2.6)

Hotch pulls FLPC Sawyer into the hallway and speaks in a hushed tone

Hotch: So, we've got an issue with the press, I understand?

FLPC Sawyer: Yeah, well 6 women have been murdered and dumped in public parks. People noticed.

Hotch: But the press attention has made it harder for you to do your jobs?

FLPC Sawyer: Definitely. People are panicking and I can't say I blame them. They're calling him the French Lick Ripper

Hotch: Like Jack the Ripper.

FLPC Sawyer nods

Hotch: They're sensationalizing the unsub. I'll get our communications liaison Agent Jareau on it.

Sawyer thanks him and walks away. Hotch call JJ

Hotch: JJ, we've got a problem. As soon as you finish with the families, I need you to give a press conference. Maybe we'll even have a profile by then. Bye.

Hotch hangs up the phone
