Klance- Book Of Life AU

After Zarkon's invasion of Altea, Krolia had convinced Lance to propose to Keith right there and then after he had saved him and the rest of San Altea. Of course, he proceeded because he loved Keith very much and was very thankful for his mother's blessing.

A week after the attack, Allura, Lotor, and Coran had let Lance's family stay for his and Keith's wedding. The whole town had pitched in to help the General's son and a part of the McClain family, the most famous bullfighting-family ever.

Their wedding was the most beautiful thing ever and Lance had loved every second of it. Up there with Keith, Coran and the Book Of Life being the priests, and all of Lance and Keith's family and friends.

After Coran got to the 'I do's, he announced, "You may now kiss-" Keith dipped Lance right there and kissed him. "The groom?" Coran finished confused, probably because Lance was supposed to be the groom and Keith was going to be the bride. Coran giggled and everyone cheered as they kissed.

Keith lifted Lance from the dip and smiled. "Sorry." He said breathlessly.

Lance pecked Keith one last time. "It's alright." And he smiled blindingly as they walked up the isle outside.

("I believe you have won the wager, mi amor," Lotor smiled to Allura, as she gazed upon Lance and Keith smiling, finally happily married. "Along with my heart all over again." He finished as he slightly bowed and held out his hand.

Allura turned and faced Lotor with a smile. "Ay, Lotor." She took both of his hands with her own.

"I'm so sorry, my dear." Lotor said with a sad smile present on his face. "You deserve better then me." And he turned his head away to watch the crowd forming, probably getting ready for Lance and Keith to walk out. "I know that now." He turned his gaze back to the love of his life giving him the softest eyes ever. "Will you ever forgive me?" He kissed the back of her hand with a slightly teasing smile on his face.

Allura rolled her eyes and said, "I do." And pulled him into a kiss, her large hat covering them and only her long hair and Lotor's black wings showed.)

As fireworks erupted from the sky, Lance and Keith walked out of the church giggling. "Husband," Keith started with a smile on his face, turning to his new husband. "How about a song?"

Lance chuckled as his father handed him his guitar, nodding, holding his mother's hand, as they were finally reunited again. "As you wish, Mr. McClain-Kogane." Keith giggled again. He started the lyrics, looking into Keith's beautiful violet eyes as if he had never left, and they had been married for years.

I will stay by you

Keith clutched his flowers tighter and started to sing with Lance.

Even when we fall

I will be the rock

That holds you up and lifts you high

So you stand tall

Keith threw his bouquet of flowers backwards and James caught them unintentionally and a pile of women and a man piled on him like a dog pile.

Lance started singing on his own again, strumming his guitar a bit faster and then tossing it to a small girl who started to play with Shiro, Hunk, and Pidge.

And I won't let you fall

They started to sing together again and clasped their hands together, after Lance spun Keith in a twirl.

I won'tlet you go

No matter where you are, I'll be there

No matter where you are

No matter where you are, I'll be there

That spun again and parted for a few seconds, Keith lifting his white tux as if he were in a dress curtsying, and Lance holding his hand out and keeping his other behind his black tux.

They joined again and started to waltz, but not slow.

So tear apart these giant hearts

Keith sung with a smile.

That beat inside us now

Let's give ourselves our promises

Lance dipped Keith, supporting his head.

Of our unending

Lance's great uncle sung his opera with Keith.

Love

And I won't let you fall

I won't let you go

They broke off and danced with their mothers.

No matter where you are, I'll be there

No matter where you are

No matter where you are, I'llbe there

Keith spun his mother and repeated:

I will be there

Coran gave Lotor and Allura a giant hug from where they were perched on the roof of the church, watching with huge smiles.

No matter where you are, I'll be there

No matter where you are

No matter where you are, I'll be there

Their verses got slower and slower, and their spinning and twirling did too.

Lance reached up behind Keith's ear and set his hand on his cheek as Keith leaned into the touch as they sang the last verse.

I'll be there

They kissed softly, and stayed like that for what felt like no time at all. Like, they had just forgotten about the rest of the world and only focused on each other.
