INT. Prentiss with Katie Eldrige's boyfriend, Eli in his Apartment - DAY (Scene 2.7)
Eli is slouched on his couch. Prentiss sits on the edge of his shabby, beat up ottoman. The apartment is meh, clearly a bachelor pad and it smells of weed and beer, typical for a 23 year old but there is also a strong smell of hard liquor.
It's not surprising, considering the poor kid's girlfriend had been brutally murdered and mutilated and dumped like trash in a park. Prentiss feels for him, but his frat guy attitude is starting to get on her nerves.
Shouldn't he care a little more about trying to catch the man who'd killed his girlfriend?
Prentiss: so she was unemployed?
Eli, sounding like a the most stereotypical frat guy and his red eyes indicate he's been smoking weed: yeah, but she had like [pause] aspirations
Prentiss: for what?
Eli: she was gonna be an actress. She was starting her career
Prentiss: in French Lick, Indiana? Not exactly Hollywood or Broadway.[she says unconvinced]
Eli: No, but she did like local theater. If whoever killed her hadn't- she'd be a big star soon.
Prentiss: I'm sure (said somewhat sarcastically)
The scene ends here, but it's implied that the conversation continued
