After the meeting with Toshiaki, Ichigo really didn't know what to expect with his children. Yeah, he knew that Kukaku and Ganju were Kaien's siblings. But he never thought that he would see them so small.

"Hello! My name is Shiba Kukaku! This is my little brother Ganju, and my older brother Kaien is training in the dojo." Kukaku said when her father introduced Ichigo to them.

It was a little overwhelming, but Ichigo still nodded his head in response, "Nice to meet you as well." He said in a soft, but strong voice. Toshiaki just shook his head.

"Now, now. Don't be like that Ichigo, you are family. Now, let's go get my other son from his training." Leading the way to the dojo, Toshiaki watched how Ichigo got along with his younger children and could see them forming a bond. Even though Ichigo was the youngest of the three, he still looked like he was ready to protect them. 'It looks like he was the protector all his life so far. I'll have to teach him that he can be protected too. Maybe I should get Kaien to protect him.' Toshiaki thought to himself, seeing when Ganju tripped and Ichigo quickly caught him.

'Are you really sure you don't want to be protected this time? They are older than you, and you are here because your friends wanted you to relax. Just let someone else protect for a while.' Zangtsu tried to convince Ichigo, but Ichigo would not hear it. 'I know what they wanted Zangetsu, but it is not like I can just turn this off.'

The group finally reached the dojo where they saw Kaien practicing Zanjutsu with a bokken. "Kaien!" Toshiaki yelled before trying to glomp him, trying because Kaien hit him upside the head with the sword in his hands. "Good job my son!" Toshiaki said from the other side of the room. Kaien just laughed before he saw Ichigo.

"Ah! You must be the guest that the old man was talking about. And I can see why he took you now, you are a Shiba. Anyways, I am Shiba Kaien, nice to meet you. Since you don't have any place to stay in the compound, we should let my old man adopt you into our family! How old are you?" Kaien asked after glomping Ichigo in a hug.

This threw Ichigo off, making his mouth just ramble. "I am Kurosaki Ichigo, I am 32 years old, I don't know anything about being adopted into the family, and I am pretty sure your mother hates me-" He was stopped by Kaien placing a hand on his mouth while laughing.

"Okay! I will get the old man to make your our little brother, you might have to come with me to the Academy in a few years if your Spiritual Pressure grows by then. And don't worry about our mother, she was actually disowned from the family because she hit Ganju when he was younger. The only reason she was here was to try and marry our father again." Kaien explained before dragging the unwilling strawberry to his father.

"Father! Ichigo is our new little brother, make it happen!" Kaien said with a glare at his father. He then walked away with Ichigo looked behind them at Toshiaki. "Are you sure that you should talk to your father that way? He is the head of the clan right?" This made Kaien pause before continuing walking.

"In all actuality, my father is just waiting until I become a shinigami to hand me the title of the head. I make all the decisions, he just goes through with them." This made Ichigo surprised. "Really? That must suck some times, having to be a shinigami just to become clan head."

Kaien just shook his head before opening a door. "Anyways, this is your new room. Mine is right next to this one, and we have a connected balcony. So if you ever need anything, just come get me. We will get you more clothes in the coming days, so until then you will wear some of my old clothes. I will get you later before dinner and help you get changed. I know that this is a bit much, but you will be introduced as the new son of the head." Kaien said before leaving Ichigo and his two spirits in confusion.

'...Did that just happen?' You could hear the sweatdrop in Zangetsu's voice.

'Damn, this family is almost as crazy as your last one King. But that's to be expected since you are related.' Shiro said with a smirk.

'Well, if anything, I will be able to blend into the family better than any other.' Ichigo said, looking on the bright side for once.

After a few hours of exploring his new room, Ichigo heard Kaien outside his room. After letting him in Ichigo saw that he was dressed in a dark blue haori, haori himo, and hakama. He also had a bundle of clothes in his arms.

"I'm sorry, but I looked and none of my old clothes would fit you. I got you one of my sister's kimono's instead." Kaien said with a sorry expression on his face. This made Ichigo's face light up in a blush. It didn't help that Shiro was laughing his ass off with Zangetsu in his inner world either.

'King in a kimono! Or should I call you Queen?' Shiro couldn't help but ask. Zangetsu just egging it on with his chuckling.

Ichigo just sighed and nodded to Kaien who chuckled. "It won't be that bad, I think. Anyways, let me help you put this on."

After that was one of the most embarrassing moments of Ichigo's life, err lives. Kaien was wrapping the haneri and kimono around his waist and put the obiage, obi, obijime, and obidome on him. "Is all this really needed if I am not a girl?" Ichigo asked Kaien softly. Kaien looked up at Ichigo's eyes and nodded solemnly.

"Sadly, yes. The old geezers in the Elder Counsel feel like if you are not dressed up, you are not welcome to the clan, a load of bull to me." Kaien said while helping Ichigo put on the tabi and zori. After everything was on, Kaien dragged Ichigo to a seat where he brushed and fixed his hair. Even putting in a kanzashi.

"And done. If I didn't know better I would say you were my little sister!" Kaien said while dragging the unwilling crossdressing strawberry to look at a mirror.

'Holy Shit...King, you look hot' Shiro said in the silence.

And he wasn't exaggerating. Ichigo was in a black and silver kimono with moons and stars on it. The obi was a bright silver and the obijime a soft blue. The waist-length strawberry-blond hair was put up in a black and silver moon and crystal kanzashi.

"Now, let's see if we can confuse those old men, hmm?" Kaien said while escorting Ichigo to the dining room. Outside of the room, they saw Toshiaki about to walk in. "Ah! Old man! Look at your new son, doesn't he look beautiful?" Kaien exclaimed. Toshiaki turned around before freezing.

Ichigo felt a little uncomfortable under his hard stare before he was tackle-hugged by Toshiaki. "Oh! My darling son is just as pretty as a daughter! Maybe I should get you some female clothes as well tomorrow when we go shopping." Toshiaki was finally pried of Ichigo by the laughing Kaien and Kukaku.

"Well, at least there will be one more girl in the house," Kukaku said before heading into the room. Ganju just laughed while following. Kaien followed them with a small squeeze to Ichigo's shoulder as he passed.

Soon, only Toshiaki and Ichigo were left and Toshiaki looked at Ichigo with a Sirius look in his eyes. "Remember, no matter what the old geezers think in there, you are already part of the family. Not only did I adopt you, but you are a born Shiba. You ready?"

Ichigo breathed in a few times before nodding. Toshiaki searched his eyes before nodding and opening the door.
