Salvation: Bliss
AN(1): I've kind of been on a slight Angel binge (probably the 50th time) like David was the perfect vampire. I've realized I missed a lot while watching the show.
This will be the final part (Long time coming huh?)
So, don't be surprised if you suddenly find an Angel crossover. (Face Palm). I regret removing the one I had. *By the way, if I did do a crossover (most likely Bella/Angel) would you like for Bella to be related to one of the AI members? *
Salvation
Bella would have never thought that she'd find herself slaying monsters. With a vampire. Angel wasn't the father type, but he was a good companion. He was not much older than she; learning that he had been turned at the age of 26.
They were currently in a cave, the darkness still new to her, her hand grasping his leather jacket. With Connor, it was something she did often. They had been down many dark tunnels, his eyes of course able to handle the black mass that surrounded them.
Angel though could see better, and she made sure to stick to his side. They both froze as they could hear something drop faintly behind them. "What was that?" She whispered. Angel was quiet, and although she could barely see him, she imagined him turning his head, narrowing his eyes in that direction.
"Not sure. Stay close, we're almost at the nest," She nodded, and Angel moved forward again, his steps more focused. She could see a faint light ahead, letting go of his jacket as she could see in front of her. She slowly pulled out her sword, Angel doing the same.
"What are these things again?" She whispered, her heart slightly beating faster as they approached. "Uh, Solvute eggs. Vicious demon clan if hatched," He responded. She just hummed. "Great," She murmured.

Connor glanced up as Angel and Bella walked through the lobby doors covered in what looked like brown slime. "That was disgusting," She said, flicking off a piece of soggy eggshell. "Had fun?" Connor asked, a small smirk on his face.
She shot him a grin, nodding. "I'm going to go get this gunk out of my hair," He watched her head up the stairs, going back to his book. "Yeah, I'm going to do the same," Angel murmured his face scrunched in thought.
Connor's mind started to wander, his thoughts on something more delicate. He and Bella hadn't made that step yet in their relationship, but he was hoping to soon. As he grew up in another dimension, human connections were slim to none.
Since being back, Connor has been learning the ways of the world, and Bella did her best to teach him the things he needed to know.
"Cordy. Can I ask you something?" He asked, sitting his book to the side. She hummed in response, nodding, pushing a notepad to the side. "Sure, what's up?" He scratched the back of his head, wondering how to phrase his question. "Um, what do women like…during…sex?" Her eyes widened slightly, and she moved from around the desk.
"Well, um, women like a lot of things. Every woman is different. It's important to pay attention to what they like. Have you and Bella..?" She asked softly, coming to sit next to him. He shook his head. "No. We've…made out..a lot, and it's been getting harder and harder to stop. I want to, I just don't want to mess it up, what if…" He trailed off, and Cordelia chuckled.
"I think it's more of a trial an error thing. Your first time will be a little weird and lots of fumbling around, but she'll tell you what she likes or dislikes, and you'll tell her. It's like a dance, both of you must learn it, and while it won't be perfect on the first go, you'll both get to teach each other. Just take your time,"
Connor nodded in thanks; embarrassment clear on his face. "Thank you," Cordelia smiled brightly. "Of course. Also, be romantic. Women love that," She patted his shoulder as he passed. He made his way up the stairs, his verves slowly disappearing with each step.
"Use protection!" He chuckled, shaking his head.
He opened the door to the room he and Bella shared, pausing in the doorway. She was breathtaking, her damp hair loosely hanging down her back in waves. She was dressed in a simple black shirt and a pair of jeans. "Hey," She greeted.
His smile was warm, eyes bright. "Hey. Do you…maybe want to go on a date?" She smiled at his shyness, nodding. "I'd love to,"
PAGE BREAK
Faced with the occasional demons, Connor and Bella managed to navigate a love life. With their growing relationship came a new relationship with Angel and Connor. While it was hard to bypass the things that happened between them, Angel could easily understand how and why Connor was the way he was.
It wasn't his fault, it was no one's fault really, just a bad hand of fate.
Like Lorne warned, Bella's past did come back to test her. Edward Cullen couldn't leave well enough alone. He showed up one evening in the middle of the night, professing his undying love for her. He tried his best to convince Bella that the people she surrounded herself with were no good for her, that she'd only end up dead.
His attempt at dazzling didn't bode over well, his permanent loss of a large cluster of hair proved his failure.
Bella's life never stopped turning, and Connor experienced the one thing he needed most. Surrounded by family, no matter how broody, smart, skittishly crazy, or in the in between. He'd always have Bella.
He'd forever know peace.
