I guess I should do things by the books this time, "My name is Nathan, I know it's kind off late to ask you but what is yours?" I ask, " Deborah, but I would prefer if you call me Debby" she says smiling at me, I write it on the form, " age?" I ask she blushes, " it's hum... 250" she says embarrassed. " And you look 16 at most..." I say, " why all this questions all the sudden?" She asks.

" It's for the registration form, with you registered under me we can go into town together, or to the cinema or shopping you some new clothes" I say looking at her wearing my hoodie twice her size. " And it makes us able to... Marry legally?" she asks hugging me, " it actually marries us legally" I say, she pushes herself on me and I fall backwards, she kisses me, " I do!" she says. I pet her white hair, smiling with her.

Next day, with the form in an envelope, we get into town by train, me and Debby got an entire carriage, people still recognise me. We get off the station, a mere 400 meters from the registration booth, we are going to make it.

I run to the registration booth grabbing Debby's hand, people run from us in panic. " people really don't like Ghouls do they?" she says. The thing is I knew the real reason why they were running, my past has my hands tainted with blood. We get to the registration booth I hand over the envelope, the guy opens it and then cowardly replies to me " Ghoul's aren't on the list sir, we can't register her", "Call Json then! I demand talking with him!" I shout at him.

I hear a low growl, "Debby!" I shout, at supersonic speeds a magically enhanced punch inches it's way to Debby's face. I teleport in front of it and push Debby to safety, the punch makes contact with me and my body is punched against the concrete building behind me. With my all my remaining mana I manage to not instantly die, but still face internal bleeding and five possibly broken ribs. "Nathan!" Debby shouts in tears once she realises what happened, " Y-You took a hit for her, Nathan?" says Kolva [Necro Tea, "Fuck... You" I murmur before I pass out.

I wake up in the hospital, a familiar healing aura surrounds me, " Roger told me you wanted to see me" says Json, I try to sit up but the pain was to much, " don't stress yourself too much the bones still need rest" I hear a familiar female voice.

I sit up, it hurt but I managed to finally do it. There I see them, Json and Genie, Kolva was also here. " I know you 3 hate me, the entire city does and I don't blame them, but..." I say but Genie interrupts " that's an under statement", "but! I came here only to register Debby under me, I don't wish to..." I say but Java comes in " we know, only a madman would take a punch like that, a punch meant to vanish upon contact" he says.

" Vanish?" I ask...

A glimpse of buried memories surfaces, " Once we have her we can put her in here..." a female voice says, with out a face but I can't help but cry, " Nathan!" That same voice says as I see where the voice came from, "Anne! No, don't go!" my voice comes from the memory.

The voice was of Anne, as I saw her... before my eyes...when she... Vanished to dust...

"Yes vanish, it's Kolva's signature move, it turns it's opponent into dust" Java says, I stand up, the pain was too much from my bones but it no longer mattered, " Fuck you!" I shout before summoning a skeleton that grips Kolva from her back.

Debby walks in, "Nathan you are awake!" She shouts caring a baby in her arms, she runs to me and offers me support. Still to weak the skeleton dusts before I almost collapse on the floor, " Care to explain?" Java says to Kolva, " why don't you ask him? He is the one that attacked me!" Kolva says.

Debby puts the baby in my arms after I lay on the bed, " Jessie, this is Nathan, your daddy" Debby says, a smiles comes to my face as I look at my daughter's two month old face for the first time.

" Because... A patient that just came out of a 11 month coma... With heavy bone pain, just snapped at you" Java says. "Five years ago, I managed to summon a Ghoul, her name was Anne. Me and Anne got... Close, despite my transgressions of the city, when she started the birthing we came to town so our daughter would have a legal birth... But when we got to the registration booth a loud bang casted Anne against the concrete wall, before I knew what happened I ran to Anne, only to see her and my daughter turn to dust before my eyes" I say.

"You told us, it was a invading Ghoul!" Json shouts, " Ghouls are all the same! " Kolva says, Genie punches Kolva in the face, " this is not what we fight for" says Json, " You are expelled from the order" says Java stripping her the title of official Canadian Knight.

"So I am suppose to become a civilian now? Just because I killed a Ghoul?" Kolva says as Json whispers something in Genie's ear, " you aren't going to be a civilian" says Genie casting a spell on Kolva.

Kolva's hair turns white, her once striking green eyes turn red, her once rosy cheeks turn pale, her breasts get smaller as she gets shorter. " What have you done to me!?" Kolva shouts, " turn you into what you despise most" Java says.

Kolva goes to the mirror, "No!" she says as her worst fear is confirmed, she is now a Ghoul. I smile.
