Sonic ran super fast to the school. He was very careful to not drop his playstation. Sonic got to the back of the school and it was kinda spooky. It didn't look anything like the front of the school! There was fog and all the grass was dead, it was terrifying! But it got less spooky once sonic saw tails (tails got there first because he didn't spend time getting the playstation)
"there you are sonic!" said tails who was at the back door.
"Wazzup man" said sonic "say tails, why are we meeting here to play fortine?"
"oh no reason. no reason at all." said tails with a nervous laugh. Sonic was giving him a skeptical look, tails cleared his throat and continued "um just close your eyes and I'll take you to where we'll play the game"
sonic covered his eyes with his eyes "Ok i trust you" said sonic with his eyes closed.
Then tails lead sonic through a door that says "do not enter". Tails guided sonic through the school for what felt like minutes until they finally arrived in the library.
"Wait here sonic, I have to do something first," said tails.
Sonic still had his eyes closed so he didn't know where he was. "Oh tails I'm too excited I have to open my eyes!" He opened his eyes and he saw a bunch of kids on the school computers, probably playing video games. There was a big TV that two guys were playing on, and right next to them was a banner that reads "Minecraft Hunger Games: Battle Royale" Sonic was very shocked.
"Sonic i told you to keep your eyes shut!" said tails who was mad.
"Well you lied to me tails! I trusted you" said sonic also mad ''I thought you would play fortnite with me, instead this?!"
"i brought you here so you could give it a chance, that's all I'm asking," said tails.
Before they could end their disagreement like a married couple arguing, a giant portal appeared. And wouldn't you know it, out came eggman!
