This is not the next Chapter of Grimm Ascension
As bad as I'd like it to be, it's not. I apologize to all my readers, but there is just something that's preventing me from continuing Grimm Ascension as it is. For two years, I've opened up the next chapter and have written a grand total of 775 words spanning two pages. It's…saddening for me. THIS is one of the biggest ideas I had for RWBY after Vol. 3, and seeing it unfinished, and being unable to finish it the way I had set out is…disheartening.
I've come to the conclusion that I may have to rewrite the story, in order to see it done. I don't consider this option lightly, especially considering I had a lot of this version of Grimm Ascension planned out. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get it written down like this anymore. If I want to continue this story, I'm going to have to do something different.
This brings me to my initial problem: I'm kind of grasping at straws trying to come up with a new angle for the new Grimm Ascension. I mean, I've got a rough idea of what I now want to happen, and after reading some other Grimmified Ruby stories, I've got a few ways I think I can implement them. But I'm still lacking…something.
And that's what I was hoping to ask of y'all, my readers: what would you like to see happen in the new Grimm Ascension if/when it is rewritten? There's a few reviews to the story right now that had some interesting ideas that I'd like to try out for the new version, so if you have an idea or ideas that you think could help me make the best version of this story, I would like to ask of you all could share them with me. I'm usually good at making good plots for stories, but I'm at a loss as to how to reshape Grimm Ascension's plot to make it easier for me to write it down.
