NOW LET'S GET ON WITH THE STORY!
{Chapter 1: Day of the Dino-Part 1}
Deep on a remote island, late at night, we see a lone figure running through the hallways of a small building as explosions rang out near him and the man grunted as he lost his balance but managed to compose himself fast enough to dodge a swipe from an unknown enemy as he rolled across the ground and took off into a sprint as the unknown enemy growled in irritation.
"Find him! Do whatever it takes to bring him back to me!" The unknown enemy shouted to his underlings, who were finally able to catch up to him as they nodded and chased after the lone figure as the man tried in vain to escape from his enemies, but no matter how many twists and turns he makes, they always seemed to catch up to him.
The lone figure cursed under his breath and decided to make a beeline to the exit just as a large explosion occurred as the shockwave sends the man flying through the air and he crashed landed on the jungle outside. Groaning, the man sits up and panted heavily as the sunlight hits his body, revealing his soot-covered and injured form as the man rests against a palm tree and tried to catch his breath before he has to run again. The man is 23-years-old with short spikey black hair, black eyes, a small black beard, Caucasian skin, and his outfit consisted of a white jacket with a black shirt underneath, faded green pants, and brown shoes. His name is Tommy Oliver, one of the greatest Power Rangers to have ever existed.
After catching his breath, Tommy stood up and took off into a sprint as various explosions rang around him, but Tommy was able to endure it as he runs across the jungle and was then ambushed by two black half-human/half-dinosaur creatures as they jumped out of nowhere and clotheslined him to the floor as Tommy groaned in pain but recovered swiftly as he flipped back onto his feet and took a fighting stance as several more of the strange hybrid creatures showed up and surrounded him. Not afraid by this, Tommy gestured for one of the strange creatures to attack him, and a monster happily obliged as it foolishly charges at him to throw a punch, which Tommy was able to catch as he grabs his arm and judo flips him to the floor as two more tried to attack him from behind, but Tommy easily disposed of them by doing a spinning air kick.
Landing on the ground, Tommy then bends down and trips a running creature off of its feet as it crashed down on the floor with a pained groan as Tommy crouched on the floor and another creature appeared as he tried to kick his back, but Tommy responded by rolling out of the way and delivering a backflip kick that sends the monster flying away. After expertly defeating at least twenty of those weird hybrid creatures, Tommy started feeling overwhelmed as one monster managed to sneak up on him and tackled him to the floor as he begins punching the young man repeatedly with his friends eventually joining in as they dogpiled on Tommy and continued beating him up.
After a few minutes of ganging up on him, Tommy had enough as he managed to find the strength to push them off of him and let out a battle cry as he charged at one of the creatures and delivered a nasty haymaker to the monster's head as Tommy knocked him out cold. Cartwheeling over to a pair of monsters, Tommy knocked them down with a couple of kangaroo kicks as he landed on the ground and swiftly dodged a punch aiming for his back as he grabbed the startled creatures arm and twirled him around as Tommy tosses him over at a group of charging monsters and they all fell down like bowling pins.
Taking heavy breaths, Tommy started feeling fatigued from the constant fighting as more and more hybrid creatures showed up and the former Power Ranger grits his teeth in anger as he figured that it was better to go out fighting and was about to charge at his enemies again, but then a sudden explosion took him and the monsters off guard as they were sent flying and crashed on the floor as Tommy and the others groaned in pain before yelping as more explosions rang out. Covering their heads from the heavy fire, Tommy was the first one to recover as he stood up and ran off to safety as the creatures hissed in anger and ran after him. Tommy grunted in effort as he ran across the jungle while ignoring his body yelling at him to take a rest as he finally made it out of the jungle, only to then curse in frustration as he saw that he was standing over a cliff and an ocean was placed down below.
"Not good," Tommy says while peeking over the cliff as he saw the ocean down below and was thinking of running back, but when he saw the creatures who were sent to capture him showed up and were subsequently killed by another explosion, Tommy decided to take the risk and jumped out of the cliff as Tommy screamed before crash landing on the ocean as he popped his head out and watched in shock/horror as the island was covered by one final huge explosion that completely destroyed the island and possibly everyone inside.
"No!" Tommy shouted in misery as he watched the place where he used to work at being set ablaze.
[Some Years Later]
Three years have passed since the horrible accident on the island as we see a 26-year-old Tommy Oliver walking towards Reefside Highschool as he wore a gray jacket with a red button-up shirt underneath, a pair of trim glasses, a red tie, light green pants, and black shoes. Adjusting his glasses, Tommy made his way towards the school where hundreds of students could be seen lounging around as he greeted them politely, and some of them greeted him back as Tommy entered the building and nearly jumped in fright as a woman with short hair approached him.
The woman is 28-years-old with short brushed back black hair, black eyes, Caucasian skin, and wears a gray vest with a white shirt underneath, a small scarf wrapped around her neck, gray slacks, and brown shoes. Her name is Anna Randall, current principal of Reefside Highschool.
"Dr. Oliver, I'm Principal Randall," Anna says, introducing herself to the Veteran Power Ranger as Tommy smiled and extended his hand for a handshake.
"It's nice to meet you," Tommy says politely as Anna didn't shake his hand and simply stared at him blankly as Tommy awkwardly lowers his hand down. "So, it's your first day here, too, isn't it?" He asked, trying to start a conversation with her as Principal Randall nodded stoically and then stared at him suspiciously.
"Yes, and I'm still trying to figure out why a Doctor of Paleontology would come all the way to Reefside to teach science to teenagers," Anna says as Tommy simply shrugged and smiled at her.
"I guess I'm looking for some peace and quiet," Tommy says as Anna raised an eyebrow at him in disbelief.
"So you became a high school teacher? That doesn't really make a whole lot of sense, now does it, Dr. Oliver?"
"You know, I was thinking, maybe we should get together. This way you can kind of fill me in on what you expect." Tommy says, subtly changing the subject as Anna narrowed her eyes at him, somewhat sinisterly.
"I expect you to make it hard for them, painful if it all possible if they smile. you know you're doing something wrong." Anna says, somewhat evilly as Tommy sweatdropped and took a couple of steps back as Anna smiled at him lightly. "Now, I'm off to find my first truant. We'll talk later." Anna says before walking away as Tommy watched her go in disbelief and shook his head as he went off to find his classroom.
"Free for all!" A young teen shouted while jumping onto a table as he held a toy blaster filled up with small, foam projectiles as he begins shooting at his classmates, who either joined in on the fun by throwing random school junk at him or blatantly ignored the immature teen as he started a small war in the classroom. The teenager is a young, 17-year-old male with long spikey blonde hair, blue eyes, a small nose, Caucasian skin, freckles, and wears a light orange hoodie with a red T-shirt underneath, blue jeans, and black shoes. His name is Jaden West, Reefside High resident prankster.
"Jaden, can you please act your age for once." An annoyed dirty blonde girl says while sitting near Jaden as she glared up at him, and Jaden responded back with a mischievous smirk. The girl is 17-years-old with long dirty blonde hair, blue eyes, Caucasian skin, and wears a yellow top with a gray shirt underneath, yellow bracelets, blue jeans, and black shoes. Her name is Kira Ford, Reefside High youngest musician.
"I can, but where's the fun with that, Ford?" Jaden asked rhetorically while raising his toy gun as he shot Kira's face, more annoying her than hurting her as she growled at him angrily.
"Why you little-" Kira says as she was about to strangle the laughing boy, but was interrupted by their new science teacher, who was actually Tommy as he entered the classroom and was surprised by the chaos in the room, but composed himself as he gave everyone a stern look.
"Guys, settle down, take your seats, please," Tommy says as everyone calmed down and went to their seats as Kira glared at Jaden, who smiled at her mockingly as he sat down on his seat, and Kira rolled her eyes with a scoff as she did the same and everyone turned to their new teacher, who smiled at them as he went towards his desk. "I'm Dr. Oliver, and this is first-period science. Before we start, are there any questions that you would like to ask me?" He asked as a young girl quickly raised her hand. "Yes?" Dr. Oliver asked as the teenage girl smirked and stood up as she made her way to Tommy. The teenage girl is 17-years-old with long blond hair tied up into a ponytail, aqua blue eyes, Caucasian skin, and wears a white sweater with a pink T-shirt underneath, blue jeans, and pink shoes. Her name is Cassidy Agnes Cornell, popular girl of Reefside High School and reporter-in-training.
"Cassiday. Cassidy Cornell." She introduced herself as everyone, including Jayden and Kira, groaned in annoyance, but Cassiday ignored them as she smiled at Tommy brightly. "Dr. Oliver, as you may know, I'm the anchor and field reporter for our school TV station."
"Wow, that's so fascinating. Here let me show you how interested I am." Jaden says sarcastically, before pretending to fall asleep as some of his classmates giggled at his actions, including Kira as she realized what she did and composed herself as Jayden heard her laugh, and opened his eyes as he smirked at her and she rolls her eyes.
"Anyway," Cassiday hissed while briefly glaring at Jayden and her classmates sharply as she then turned back to her teacher with her usual fake smile. "I'm sure our viewers are wondering, well, you don't really look old enough to be a teacher. Devin, are you getting this?" Cassiday asked the boy behind her, who nodded eagerly as he held a small camera in his hands. The boy is 17-years-old with long, curly, brown hair that reaches his shoulders, green eyes, Caucasian skin, and wears a green jacket with a white shirt underneath, blue jeans, and white shoes. His name is Devin Del Valle, Cassiday sort of best friend, cameraman, and slave.
"Cassidy, I promise you, I'm old enough. So, let's put the camera away." Tommy says while scolding Devin, who sheepishly puts away his camera as Cassiday reluctantly went back to her seat. "For now, let's talk about you guys and what you expect of us yourselves in this class, 'cause that's what's really important," Tommy says before raising an eyebrow as he saw an empty seat near him. "Is someone missing?"
Out on the soccer field, we see a couple of teenagers skipping class by playing a game of soccer as one of the teenagers was kicking a red soccer ball around and the other one was standing near the goal, fully padded as the poor teen was shaking in his boots at the sight of the other teen playfully kicking his ball around. One of the teenagers is a tall, handsome, 17-year-old male with short, messy, brown hair, brown eyes, Caucasian skin, and he was currently wearing a red soccer uniform. His name is Conner McKnight, Reefside High's Star Soccer Player...the other teen is not that important to the story, so let's move on.
"Get ready!" Conner says to the goalie, who nodded shakily as he watched Conner play around with his ball for a bit before suddenly leaping up as he twirled around and delivered a swift kick to the ball that sends it flying through the air. The teen yelped as he ducked down, and the ball flew past his head as it hits the goal, and Conner groans in annoyance as he walked up to him.
"Dude, you're supposed to try and stop it."
"You sure we're not gonna get in trouble for this? I mean, the bell rang, and it's the first day." He says as Conner rolled his eyes and placed his hands on his hips as he gave the goalie a pointed look.
"Look, if anyone says anything, tell 'em Connor McKnight gave you permission to be out here," Conner says, reassuring the scared teen that he won't get in trouble as the boy nodded, but then grew nervous as he looks around warily.
"Yeah, but I heard the new principal is crazy! She worked in a prison or something before she came here!" He yells in a frightened tone as Conner rolled his eyes and scoffed.
"Don't worry about Randall," Conner says just as Principal Randall appears as the teen's eyes widen and try to subtly alert the jock about their principal's sudden presence, but Conner was too dense to noticed as he smirked arrogantly. "She's a woman. And women are just...grown-up girls. Need I say more?"
"I think you've said quite enough, Mr. McKnight," Anna says with a glare as Conner froze and groans mentally as he turns around and smiles at his annoyed principal nervously.
"P-Principal Randall. I have heard such great things about you."
"Vicious rumors, I can assure you. Go." Anna stated firmly as Conner groans and walks away as Principal Randall smirked victoriously at catching her first victim, but then grew annoyed at the sight of the scared goalie. "What are you looking at?"
"Huh?" The boy says dumbly as Anna rolled her eyes at him and spotted a nearby soccer ball as she grinned evilly and reared back her leg as she delivered a mighty kick to the ball and it raced towards the goalie, who didn't have time to react as the ball made an impact with his chest and sends him flying off of his feet as he crashes on the floor with a groan. "Now, get back to class!" She yelled venomously as the groaning teen shakily nodded and stood up as he ran off.
"Whoa," Conner says in shock/fear as Anna straightens her clothes before walking off as she gestured Conner to follow her, and he did as they walked out of the soccer field.
Meanwhile, elsewhere, we see a couple of geeks talking to each other quietly while in the empty computer lab as they giggled at each other mischievously, not noticing Jayden walking past the classroom as he heard their giggling and turned back to stare into the classroom curiously as he saw the dorks working on a computer. One of the geeks was an African-American 17-year-old boy with short black hair, black eyes, brown skin, and his outfit consisted of a blue jean jacket with a light gray shirt underneath, blue jeans, and black shoes. His name is Ethan James...the other geek is not that important to the story, so let's move on.
"Okay, check this out," Ethan says while showing his friend a schematic of his school's sprinkler system as he grinned at him. "I wrote a program that generates a code, so the sprinklers go off at different times every day," Ethan says as he and his friend chuckled, but then froze as they heard someone clapping and turned around as they paled to see Jaden smirking at them.
"Bravo, Geek Boy. I'm impressed. I didn't know you had it in you to commit a prank like this." Jaden says while walking into the classroom as Ethan and his friend turned to him panickily.
"L-Look, man, I wasn't really planning on-"
"Chill, man, relax. I'm not planning on snitching you to Principal Randall. In fact, I want in on the prank," Jaden says with a grin, surprising the teens as they turned to each other and shrugged as Ethan turned back to Jaden.
"Well, okay, then. What do you have in mind?" Ethan asked as Jaden smirked and walked over to them to stare at Ethan's computer as he placed his hand on his chin thoughtfully.
"Hmmm, well, James, your little prank is...cute, but I think it could be a little better," Jaden says as Ethan raised an eyebrow at him.
"Really? How?" He asked as Jaden smirked mischievously.
"Well, how about this..." Jaden trailed off as he leans down and whispered his suggestion into Ethan's ears, who grinned as he nodded eagerly.
"All right, I can do that," Ethan says as Jaden nodded in satisfaction and then spotted Kira playing some music on her guitar outside on a bench as Jaden grinned widely and turned to back Ethan.
"And can you make sure to play your little prank near that chick in about 20 minutes or so?" Jaden asked while pointing down at Kira as Ethan glanced at her and nodded with a shrug.
"Sure, why?"
"Oh, no, reason, I just want her to ketchup on her music," Jaden says jokingly as Ethan shrugged and went back to his computer as Jaden walked away with a laugh. A few minutes later, we cue outside, where we see Kira still playing her guitar as she started drawing in a crowd of students, who cheered for her as Kira smiled lightly and started singing.

Kira finished singing while strumming her guitar as everybody cheered and clapped at her performance as Kira smiled at her small fans, but then winced as Principal Randall and a reluctant Conner walked up to her as Anna glared at her sternly.
"Miss Ford, I'm afraid you need written permission to perform on school grounds. Let's go."
"Are you aware that kids who play an instrument have a 50% higher chance of getting into college?" Kira inquired, trying to get out of detention as Anna stared at her blankly.
"Well, you're hardly college material, now are you, Miss Ford?" Anna quipped and smirked at Kira's offended look as she turned around and began to walk away. "Now, come with me," Anna commanded sternly as Kira sighs, but nods as she grabbed her guitar and followed after her with Conner grumbly tagging along as the trio walked across the grass for a few seconds before yelping as the sprinklers turned on, and instead of spraying out water, the sprinklers doused them in ketchup as the trio screamed and tried to cover themselves as they ran out of the sprinkler's range and groaned at the sight of their stained clothes.
"You gotta be kidding me! I just bought these clothes! And do you have any idea how hard is it to clean a ketchup-covered guitar?!" Kira asked rhetorically to Conner as Anna wipes off the ketchup from her eyes with a growl as she looks around and spotted a laughing Ethan and Jaden walking towards the school with a blue and orange umbrella in their hands as Ethan smiled at the annoyed trio widely while Jaden smirked at Kira, who eyes widen in realization as she glared at him hatefully.
"You! You did this! You're so dead, West!" Kira yelled as she was about to charge over to pummel him, but was stopped by Conner as Jaden laughed at her reaction, but then his laughter died down as an angry Principal Randall marched over to him and a nervous-looking Ethan.
"Jaden West and Ethan James. I should have known you two would be behind this. Detention, now!" Anna shouted, startling the boys as Principal Randall stalked off, and the others followed close behind her as they reached the Principal's Office and Anna turned to the teens sharply as she glared at them. "Sit!" She commanded as the teens obediently obliged and sat down on a bench that was placed outside of her office.
"Principal Randall, I'd just like to mention the fact that there's absolutely no hard evidence linking me to that unfortunate sparkler incident. And if there was, I can assure you that it wasn't my idea. It was Jaden's." Ethan snitched as Jaden turned to him in disbelief.
"Are you serious? You were the one who came up with the idea to hack into the sprinkler system in the first place!"
"But you were the one who told me to use ketchup!" Ethan countered.
"I knew that you had something to do this, Jaden!" Kira says angrily at Jaden as she and the other teens started arguing with each other, but were stopped by Principal Randall as she whacked them all on the head with her clipboard.
"All right, all right, I don't care who started it. All four of you have detention for one week starting today. Now, if there are no further questions-"
"What? That's so unfair! I have soccer practice!" Conner says with a groan as he leans back against the bench.
"You give me a week's detention just for singing outside? That's way too harsh! Besides, I have band practice!" Kira says with Ethan nodding in agreement.
"Yeah, and I have a Computer Club."
"And I have...well, I don't really have anything better to do, I just don't want to go to detention," Jaden says with a shrug as Anna smiled at the teens mockingly.
"No, questions? Good, I didn't think so." Anna says, ignoring the teen's protest as she turned around and walked away.
"Okay, somebody seriously needs a hug," Kira says with a really pissed off look on her face as Jaden laid back on his chair casually and shrugged.
"I don't know, I would hug you, but you're covered in ketchup, so I have to pass," Jaden says as Kira glared at him, but then gained an idea as she grins and leaped onto his lap as she begins hugging him, making sure to smear her stained clothes all over his cleaned ones as Jaden scrunched up his face in disgust. "Ugh, gross! Let go of me, Ford! I'm serious! Let go of me!" Jaden cried out in disgust as Kira continued smearing him with ketchup as she wrestled him to the ground, and Jaden struggled to get her off of him as they rolled around on the floor.
"Are those two always like that?" Conner asked Ethan, who shrugged as the boys continued watching the duo wrestle each other. "...Computer Club, really?" Conner asked in annoyance as Ethan rolled his eyes with a sigh.
"Dr. Oliver, how was your first day?" Principal Randall asked Tommy, who was walking around the corner as the man smiled at her.
"Ah, the kids are great, no problem." He says as Anna smiled.
"Good, you're gonna be seeing a lot more of them in detention."
"You mind telling me what I did?" Tommy asked jokingly as Anna didn't seem to catch his playful tone and gave him a confused look.
"No, Dr. Oliver, you're not in trouble. I'm simply labeling you in charge of Detention today."
"No, actually, I have plans to go to a museum out of town," Tommy says as Anna smirked and grabbed his arm as she leads him to Jaden and the others.
"Perfect, bring the little monsters with you. That should be sufficient torture for them." Anna says before deadpanning as she saw Kira and Jaden rolling around the ground, yelling out curse words at each other as an amused Conner and Ethan watched them. "Miss Ford and Mr. West! Stop with this foolishness at once!" Anna snapped as Tommy winced at her yell, and the teens ceased their fighting as Kira lets go of Jaden, and they stood up as they sheepishly went back to sit back on the bench. Composing herself, Principal Randall turned back to Tommy, who was staring at the scene dumbfounded as she smiled at him. "Well, enjoy our little outing." She says before walking away as Tommy, and the teens stared at each other silently as an awkward silence rang out.
"So...you guys like museums?" Tommy asked hopefully as the teens gave him a blank look in response.
"Whoa, check out the T-Rex!" Ethan cried out excitedly while sitting on Tommy's black jeep with the other teenagers as their science teacher had taken them to Reefside Museum.
"Dial down your excitement, dude," Conner says with an annoyed look while wearing some new clothes as he wore a jean jacket with a red shirt underneath, blue jeans, and black sneakers.
"Huh, that's a pretty cool statue," Jaden says while getting out of the jeep as the blonde-haired boy stared at the T-Rex statue for a few seconds before grinning as an idea popped into his head. "I wonder how the statue will look like if its spray painted pink?" Jaden asked with a smirk as he reaches into his backpack and pulls out a spraypaint as Jaden was about to sneak off detention and commit his prank but was stopped by an annoyed Kira.
"Don't even think about it." Kira snapped while grabbing his arm, causing him to blush a bit, as she leads him back to the group, and they walked over to the entrance of the museum to enter the building, only to find out that the museum was closed as the door was chained up and there was a 'Sorry We're CLOSED' sign.
"That's weird," Tommy says with a disappointed frown as Jaden and the other teenagers smirked behind him.
"Oh, well, no museum for us," Conner says while shaking his head in fake disappointment.
"Darn, I was really hoping to learn today," Jaden says in fake despair while pretending to sigh sadly as Kira nodded.
"Yeah, tragic...oh, well, let's go home," Kira says with the other teenagers happily agreeing as they were about to go back to the jeep, but were stopped by their teacher.
"I'll tell you what? Why don't you guys have a look around the grounds? If any of you guys find anything prehistoric, I'll cancel detention for the rest of the week." Tommy says as the teens perked up and nodded eagerly as Tommy turned back to stare at the museum suspiciously. "I'm going to see if I can find somebody who can tell us when they're opening up," Tommy says as Jaden and the others nodded and walked off while Tommy stayed behind as he walked further into the building and raised an eyebrow as he saw a sign placed on the wall. "I case of emergency, call Anton Mercer Industries?" Tommy says before freezing at the name as his face paled as if he had seen a ghost as he took a couple of steps back in shock. "Anton Mercer? No way, that's impossible! How is he still alive?" Tommy asked himself in disbelief before shaking his head as he continued searching for an employee to help him.
"Hey, did you guys ever hear the story about the guy who was hiking up here and fell in a giant sinkhole?" Ethan asked, trying to strike up a conversation with his fellow teens, who didn't look too enthusiastic about the topic.
"I must've missed that one," Kira says sarcastically as Ethan gave her a disappointed look.
"Come on, it was all on the urban web sites," Ethan complained as Kira shrugged, and Conner gave him an incredulous look.
"Dude, you know this isn't Computer Club, right?"
"Yeah, no one really cares about that stuff, man," Jaden says, looking equally as disinterested as the other teens as Ethan gave them an annoyed look.
"Oh, I guess you're too big and bad to surf the web," Ethan says as Conner shrugs with a laugh as Ethan turned to Jaiden. "And you're too immature to see how great technology can be to our society, huh?" Ethan asked as Jaden nodded without shame and the young teen sighed in irritation as he turned back to Conner. "Well, what do you do in your spare time?" Ethan asked as Conner smirked arrogantly.
"Me? I go out with girls. You know, they're the ones at school that smell really good with the long hair and makeup." Conner says with a grin as Ethan chuckled sarcastically while Kira and Jayden rolled their eyes in the background.
"Oh, it's like that, is it?"
"Yeah, it's like that," Conner says as Ethan rolled his eyes and turned to Jayden as he eyed the blonde-haired boy curiously. "And what do you do?" He asked as Jaden smirked and placed his hands behind his back.
"Well, I usually spend my time planning out pranks, committing the pranks, skateboarding, or just bugging Kira, you know, something fun," Jaden says with a shrug as Kira turned to him with a glare.
"Well, it's not fun for me. Why are you always picking on me anyway?" Kira asked, annoyed with the teen's constant pranks on her as Jaden turned to her with a smirk.
"Because you're so much fun to torment," Jayden answered as Kira glared at him and huffs as she crossed her arms and looked away as Conner leans into Jaden's side with a disappointed look on his face.
"Dude, you're never going to pick up girls if you keep acting like a kid," Conner says as Jaden rolled his eyes and crossed his arms at him with a raised eyebrow.
"Oh, what? And I'm supposed to act like you, macho man?"
"Yes," Conner says, not catching his sarcasm as Jayden groaned and facepalmed as they continued walking away with Ethan lagging behind as he held out his hands in exasperation.
"Look, all I'm trying to do is give you guys the heads-up. Stuff happens out here. Just don't come crying to me when you fall into a giant sinkhole." Ethan says as Jayden scoffed.
"Please, the day that happens, Kira here will start acting like a girl and wear makeup for once to cover up...well, that," Jayden says while waving his hand around Kira's face as the young girl smacked his hand away and glared at him crossly.
"Okay, you know what, West? I had it up to here with your-" Kira says before yelping in surprise as she fell down a sinkhole, and Jayden's eyes widen in shock as he was about to speak up when suddenly he fell down another sinkhole as the other boys did the same.
"When are they coming back? They have been gone for quite a while." Tommy says while waiting patiently for the teens near his jeep as he checked his watch and sighed as he was about to search for Jaden and the others when suddenly the statue above him sprang into life and growled at him as Tommy took a couple of steps back before his face hardened as he took a fighting stance and kicked the T-Rex's legs...but didn't do any harm whatsoever as the T-Rex looked down at him as if saying, 'Did you really think that would work?'
"Well, I had to try, right?" Tommy says defensively before screaming in fear as the T-Rex roared at him, and Tommy made a beeline to his jeep as he jumped onto it and locked it...only to then facepalmed at what he did as he sighed in annoyance. "Great, yeah, lock the door, Tommy. That will definitely keep the T-Rex away." Tommy says sarcastically as he started up the car and drove off as the T-Rex roared and followed after him as they hit the freeway.
"Ugh, is everyone okay?" Jaden asked while coughing out dust as he was lying down on the surprisingly soft ground with the other teens lying around him as they groaned, but gave him a thumbs-up as he nodded. "Cool...hey, where's Kira?"
"Get...of...me." Kira's muffled voice rang out as Jayden looks down and blushed as he realized that he crashed landed on top of Kira's petite body.
"Oh, sorry, he, he," Jaden says sheepishly while standing up as Kira glared at him, but didn't say anything as she and the others stood up and dust off their clothes as they glanced up at the hole where they fell down from.
"Alright, you guys stay here where it's safe. I'll climb up and come back with help." Conner says as the teens nodded and Conner walked over to a wall as he tried to scale it and managed to climb up a few feet, but lost his footing as he slipped and fell down with a groan as Kira, Ethan, and Jaden glanced down at him blankly.
"Back already?" Ethan says sarcastically.
"Man, you're fast. No matter your our school's star soccer player." Jaden says, equally as sarcastic as Conner glared at them and shakily stood up as the group decided to explore the cavern and look for another way out as they started walking through the tunnels. Back with Tommy, we see him driving away from the T-Rex, who chased after him relentlessly as the T-Rex managed to catch up to the jeep and used his big head to ram into it as Tommy's vehicle spun out of control, but the Veteran Power Ranger managed to get his black jeep under control in time as he continued driving away from the animated T-Rex.
"Freak you out, freak you out, freak you out, freak you out," Kira sang under her breath while walking through the tunnels with the boys as Conner grew annoyed at her signing and turned to her.
"Babe, can you keep it down? I'm trying to stay focused here." Conner says as Kira stared at him offendedly while Jaden chuckled knowingly.
"Oh, no, I know where this is going," Jaden says to Ethan as the blonde-haired boy crossed his arms and waited for the show to begin.
"Did you just called me, 'Babe'? Did he just call me, 'Babe'?" Kira asked the boys, who remained silent as Kira rolled her eyes and marched up to Conner as she crossed her arms angrily at him. "Listen, buddy, my name is Kira, not 'Babe'. Maybe you should write it on your hand or something. And if you're calling me that to annoy me, stop it. I have enough boys pissing me off daily already. I don't need another one." Kira says while pointing at Jaden, who smirked at what she says as he nodded.
"Yeah, only I have the right to annoy her," Jaden says as Kira sighed and placed her hand on her temples as she stalked off, and the boys followed after her as they continued walking down the tunnels.
Meanwhile, with Tommy, we see him driving across the freeway with the dinosaur following after him as Tommy cursed under his breath and tried figuring out a way to take out the T-Rex as he looks around and spotted a small bridge near him. Getting an idea, Tommy drove towards the bridge as he drives past it, and the dinosaur stupidly chased after him as the T-Rex accidentally bangs his head against the bridge and moans in pain as he fell down with a loud thud and groans as Tommy stopped his vehicle and jumped out of his jeep as he ran over to the supposedly dead T-Rex and was surprised to see that it was actually a robot as one half of his face was broken off, revealing the circuitry inside as Tommy stared at it suspiciously and wonders who sent the T-Rex to attack him.
"This screams, 'Jurrasic Park' to me," Kira says while eyeing a large skeleton of a dinosaur mounted on a wall that she and the others had managed to find in their exploring.
"This will get us out of Detention forever," Conner says with the others nodding in agreement as Jaden reached out and grabbed the dinosaurs head as he tried to remove it from the wall. But instead of ripping it off the wall, the dinosaur's head twisted slightly as the walls suddenly opened up to reveal a large, spacious, underground lair filled with all kinds of computers and machines, as well as a large TV screen placed in the back and various rooms as the teens jaw dropped at the sight of it.
"Whoa, did we stumble upon the bootleg version of Batman's Batcave?" Jaden asked, causing the teens to snort in amusement as they walked into the large cave and glanced around in awe as Kira nodded in approval.
"I could so do a crazy video in here." She says as Conner turned to Ethan and playfully slapped his shoulder.
"Dude, this must be like the mother ship for you." He says as Ethan stared at him blankly.
"Normally, I'd be insulted, but when you're right, you're right," Ethan says as Jaden curiously walks across the cave before stopping as he slowly turned his head and saw a large rock placed in the middle of the room as it held four multi-color gems: red, blue, yellow, and orange. Mesmerized by them, specifically the orange gem, Jaden walks over to them and peers at them in awe as he tried to reach over to grab the orange gem, but was stopped by Ethan as the teen suddenly appears beside him and grabs his arm.
"Don't touch that, man," Ethan says with Kira and Conner walking into the room as Jaden raised an eyebrow at the computer geek.
"Why not?" Jaden asked as Ethan stared at him, deadpanned.
"I know that you act like a kid sometimes, but even you should know that you shouldn't touch strange glowing rocks that you find deep ina strange cave," Ethan says, but deep down, felt the same enthrallment that Jaden felt earlier as he resisted the urge from grabbing the blue gem.
"Look, Dr. Oliver told us that if we find something that looks prehistoric, he will give us a week off from Detention, and while I'm not the brightest kid around, I'm pretty sure these things look prehistoric. So why not grab them so that we can get out of Detention?" Jaden suggested.
"I hate to agree with him, and I really do, but he's right. I already missed one rehearsal. I can't afford to miss any more," Kira says while also feeling the same urge to grab the gem, i.e., the yellow one, as the rest of the boys and everyone turned to Conner to see what he thinks...only to sweatdrop as they saw him holding one of the gems, specifically the red one as he noticed their stares and smiled sheepishly.
"Oh, sorry, I thought we already decided to grab them," Conner says as the teens rolled their eyes before narrowing their eyes in determination as Ethan grabbed the blue gem while Kira grabbed the yellow gem and Jaden grabbed the orange gem.
"What are they?" Kira asked curiously while eyeing her gem as it suddenly started to glow brightly, and Kira gasped in shock as she turned her head and saw the boy's gems glowing as well.
"I can go online later and see if I can find out what they are," Ethan suggested while eyeing his glowing gem curiously as the rest of the group did the same.
"You in front of a computer? Wait, let me put on my surprised face." Conner says jokingly as he and Jaden laughed as Ethan scowled at them and crossed his arms as he gave them a smug look.
"You know, ten years from now, when you're playing pickup soccer in the park because your dreams of turning pro never quite worked out and while you are living at Pewpew's playhouse, I'll have my own multi-billion-dollar software business. Yeah." Ethan says with a grin as everyone stared at him silently.
"...Damn, dude, that was harsh," Jaden says sadly with Conner nodding in agreement as Kira rolled her eyes and turned around as she started walking away.
"Where are you going?" Ethan asked as he and the boys turned over to Kira curiously as they watched her go to the nearest exit of the large cave.
"I don't want to think about what kind of freak lives in a place like this, and I sure don't want to be here when it gets home."
"I can't believe I'm saying this, but I agree with Ford. Let's bail," Jaden says as Ethan and Conner nodded in agreement and followed after Kira as they made their way out of the underground lair while making sure to hide their new gems in their pockets as they glowed faintly.
Meanwhile, elsewhere in the middle of the pacific ocean, we see a large island rising up from the deepest ends of the sea as it had a large castle-like building placed in the middle of the island, and we zoom in as we see a tall, dinosaur/human hybrid pacing around in a large lab filled with all kinds of chemicals and lab equipment as the mutant has a sinister look on his face. The hybrid is a tall, monstrous, 26-year-old half-human/half-dinosaur being with a humanoid body, but with the face/arms/feet of a dinosaur as he has gold eyes, sharp teeth, scaly green skin, small white horns, and his outfit consisted of a large cloak that covers his body. His name is Mesogog, one of the Power Ranger's darkest, strongest, and most powerful villains out there.
"The Gems have moved. I can feel them," Mesogog says in a lower-pitched, raspy, threatening voice as he closes his eyes and exhaled deeply as Mesogog opened his eyes and turned to his minions, who were the same hybrid dinosaur creatures that chased after Tommy on the island a couple of years ago as Mesogog glared at them. "Go! Bring them to me!" Mesogog ordered as the minions nodded and ran off as Mesogog grins at the chance at finally getting the Gems that he so rightfully deserves to possess.
"This way!" Ethan shouted as he and the others were finally able to find an exit from the tunnels and appeared outside as Jaden and the others looked around confusedly. "Anyone have a compass?" Ethan asked as Conner gave him a deadpan look.
"No, sorry, I left it on my other pants," Conner says sarcastically as Jaden was also going to make a sarcastic remark, but then a roaring sound was heard as the wind suddenly blew into the teen's faces, and the group backed away nervously as they looked around.
"What was that?" Jaden asked as Kira shrugged.
"I don't know, the wind?" Kira says as Ethan shakes his head.
"I'm pretty sure that ain't the wind," Ethan says, and he was proven correct as several green portals appeared, and the hybrid creatures jumped out of it as they landed on the ground and hissed threateningly at the teens, sensing that they were holding the gems as Jaden and the others backed away cautiously from the threatening monsters. "Sometimes, I hate being right." Ethan squeaked out in fear as the strange creatures closed in on them.
"Don't...move." Conner breathed out shakily as Kira and Jaden scoffed.
"Great idea, Conner. Make it easy on them."
"Yeah, besides, dude, I'm pretty sure that only works on movies," Jaden says as the hybrid monsters nodded as if agreeing with what he said as Jayden blinked in surprise. "Oh, I guess I was right, cool...we should probably run."
"I second that, run!" Ethan shouted as he and the other teens took off into a sprint as they ran across the forset with the Mesogog's minions chasing after them as the small band of teenagers saw that they were heading towards a ditch, and the boys easily jumped over it, but Kira didn't have much luck as she missed the edge and fell down.
"Kira!" Jaden shouted worriedly as he and the boys ran after Kira, and helped her out of the ditch as they continued running, but then Kira tripped again as she fell down and cowered at the sight of the large group of hybrid dinosaurs heading towards them as she whimpers in fear. "Kira!" Jaden shouted as he was about to go back to her again but had to cover his ears as Kira let out a loud, dinosaur-like shriek that pushed back the group of minions and sends them flying backwards as Jaden, Kira, Ethan, and Conner were shocked by what the young musician did.
"How did you do that?" Jaden asked while recovering from her sonic attack as he helped Kira up to her feet, and she shrugged as Kira turned to him, confusion/slight fear clearly presented on her face.
"I-I have no idea," Kira says, shaken up by the experience as Jaden saw this and frowned worriedly as he was about to comfort her when suddenly Kira's Gem started glowing a bright yellow as Kira took it out of her pocket and stared at it intensively as an image of a shrieking yellow Pterodactyl appeared in her mind.
"Well, whatever that was, it was awesome!" An enthusiastic Ethan says just as the small minions charged at them, recovering from Kira's sonic scream as the teens yelped in surprise and ran off as they instinctively split up to fight their individual battles.
Jaden yelped as he involuntarily ducked under a monsters punch and backed up against a tree as three hybrid monsters corned him and Jaden suddenly felt a newfound sense of confidence filling up his body as he slowly took a fighting stance and gestured for the small minions to come at him as they obliged and charged at him. Blocking a couple of punches, Jaden bends down to the floor, showing off his new flexibility as he trips all of the monsters to the floor and jumped back to his feet as more monsters showed up and threw a punch at the young teen, who swiftly dodged the punch as he grabbed onto its arm and twisted it as the monster screamed in pain and Jayden used the distraction to fall down and stretched out his legs to latched onto its neck as Jaden then threw him off.
Jumping back onto his feet, Jaden eyes widen as he saw three monsters rushing towards him and crossed his arms as they rammed into him and was sent flying to a tree as he slammed his back against with a pained groan and was forced to weave around a punch from a monster as Jaden glared at the monsters attacking him and growled angrily as he grabbed onto the tree and an orange fire-like aura covered his body as he grunted and actually managed to rip out the tree from the ground with a tremendous amount of brute strength.
The three hybrid monsters muttered among themselves in disbelief while Jaden laughs in awe at his new superhuman strength and grinned at the monsters mischievously as he used the tree as a club and swung it at the monsters, sending them flying away into the horizon. Jaden smirked as he lets go of the tree and the aura around his body disappeared as he dusts off his hands as he crossed his arms proudly, but then narrowed his eyes as more monsters showed up, and Jaden grinned as he crouched down and leaped up 30-feet into the air as his fists were coated in the fire-like orange aura and Jaden let out a battle cry and slammed his fists onto the ground as a loud orange shockwave rang out and swiftly knocked out the remaining monsters as their unconscious bodies were sent flying away.
"That was awesome! But how did I do that?" Jaden asked with the aura around his hands slowly dissipating as he noticed that his Gem was glowing bright orange, and took it out of his pockets as Jaden stared at it for a few seconds and gasped as an image of a roaring orange Ankylosaurus appeared on his mind. "Whoa, sweet!" Jaden says with a chuckle as he grinned down at his glowing Gem.
Kira panted as she ran into a clearing and was suddenly surrounded by several of the dinosaur hybrid creatures as they hissed at her threateningly and Kira glared back at them as one of the creatures leaped over to stab her heart, but Kira elegantly twirls out of the way as another creature appeared and threw a punch at her, which she was able not only catch by used his momentum to toss him over to a group of charging monsters as they all fell down.
Cartwheeling over to a new batch of dinosaur hybrid monsters, Kira showed off her newfound martial arts by swiftly dodging, blocking, or countering all of the monsters attacks thrown at her as she raised an eyebrow in disbelief at the situation before doing a backflip to a monster that tried to tackle her from behind as she landed on the ground and dodged a monsters kick as Kira then proceeds to deliver multiple jabs at his stomach and shoulders before finishing it off with a nasty haymaker that surprisingly sends the monster flying to the ground.
Surprised by her superhuman strength, Kira didn't notice a dinosaur hybrid creature sneaking up on her as he grabbed her by her waist and lifted her up from the ground as more of his buddies showed up to help him pummel Kir to submission as the young girl struggled to escape from the monsters grasp and did the first thing she could think off and screamed as her yellow sonic screaming broke her out of the monsters hold and sends the rest of the monsters flying away.
With Ethan, we see him fighting against four dinosaur hybrids as two of them grabbed him by his arms and Ethan grunted in anger as he tried to kick the other two away, but they managed to grab onto his legs as the small minions gained an idea and smirked as they hosted him up and tossed him away as Ethan crashed landed on the floor with a pained grunt. Rubbing his sides, Ethan gasped in shock as another dinosaur hybrid ran towards him, and the young nerd closes his eyes in fear as he reflexively raised his arms, and they were suddenly coated with thick, light blue, metallic-like Triceratops skin.
Not thinking much about it, the dinosaur threw a downwards punch at Ethan's arms...and immediately regretted doing it as the monster felt like he punched a titanium door. After a few seconds of waiting for the pain to kick in, Ethan realized that nothing happened as he opened his eyes and gasped in shock at the sight of his new dinosaur armored hands as Ethan was also surprised to see the monster clutching his broken arm in pain. Ethan grinned as he cupped his hands and threw an upwards uppercut that connected with the monster's chin as a flash of blue light emitted upon impact, and the screaming hybrid was sent flying away.
"Somethings happening to me," Ethan says as a bright blue glow emitted from his pocket and the young nerd quickly realizes that it was Gem glowing again as he took it out of his pockets and stared at it silently as an image of a roaring blue Triceratop appeared on his mind and he grinned before yelping as a dinosaur hybrid tried to attack him while he was distracted and Ethan responded by coating his leg with Triceratop skin as he then proceeds to kick the monster so hard that a loud clang was heard and the creature was sent flying away.
Conner let out a battle cry as he punches a monster away and then delivered a roundhouse kick to another creature as the Star Soccer Player panted heavily from the intense battle before grunting in pain as one of Mesogog's minions punched his stomach and knocked him down with one punch as Conner crashed on the floor. Groaning, Conner raises his head and saw several more of Mesogog's minions surrounding him as he was about to call out for help when suddenly his Gem started glowing bright red as the young teen took it out of his pocket and stared at the Gem curiously as an image of a roaring, mighty red T-Rex appeared on his mind.
Surprised by the vision, Conner was then talking out of his thoughts when two dinosaur hybrids leaped at him at the same time to bodyslam him, but Conner was able to dodge the attacks with a surprising amount of speed as he jumped back to his feet and backflipped away as the creatures crashed down on the floor. After composing himself, Conner took a fighting stance as he begins delivering multiple punches and kicks left and right, and Conner watched in disbelief as not only his attackers couldn't block his attacks but they couldn't even perceive them at all as Conner was moving so fast that he resembled a red blur.
"Whoa, everything's so slow," Conner says in awe as he looks around, and sure enough, time started slowing down to a crawl as Conner nonchalantly walked over to the nearly frozen Dinosaur hybrids as he grinned and suddenly zooms off as he took out every single one of the remaining minions around him with relative ease as he stops running and stayed on a crouched pose as he watched in the fascination of the sight of raining dinosaurs.
"Conner!" Jaden shouted as he, Kira, and Ethan ran over to them as they all looked down at their Gems in awe.
"Yeah. How much do I love detention?" Ethan says with a laugh as Jaden nodding in agreement.
"Me too. If I knew Detention was like this, I would've let myself get caught a long time go."
"Hey!" Tommy screamed while appearing on the clearing as the four teenagers jumped in surprise and subtly hid their Gems in their pockets as Tommy ran up to them and gave them a worried look. "Are you guys, alright?" He asked Jaden and the others nodded.
"Yeah. Couldn't be better." Ethan says as Tommy sighed in relief.
"That's good. I was worried that something must've happened to you guys when you were gone for forty minutes," Tommy says before narrowing his eyes as he turned to stare at the teens suspiciously. "So, anything interesting happened? Something, I don't know, out of the ordinary?"
"Nope, just a normal hike through the woods," Jaden says as the others nodded hesitantly.
"Yeah, we saw a lot of furry little creatures," Ethan added in.
"And a few scaly ones," Kira says under her breath, but Tommy heard her as he raised an eyebrow at the young musician. Seeing this, Jaden elbows Kira and gives her a subtle pointed look before turning to his science teacher as he smirked at him mischievously.
"Oh, don't mind her, teach. She's just sore that I dropped a lizard on her head earlier." Jaden lied smoothly as Tommy nodded, falling for his lie as everyone mentally sighed in relief.
"So, you get into the dinosaur exhibit?" Conner asked, changing the subject as Tommy winced and rubs his neck nervously.
"Uh...they're still working the kinks out. We better get you guys back. Come on." Tommy says before turning around to walk away.
"Don't you think we should tell him?" Kira asked the boys quietly as Ethan gave her an incredulous look.
"I don't know about you, but I've got over a thousand sci-fi DVDs. You want to know how many times the dude with the superpowers ends up in some government lab, lying on a table with wires in his head?" Ethan asked rhetorically as Conner nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, even I know that," Conner says as Kira bits her lip nervously.
"But-" Kira says before shutting up as Jaden placed his hand on her shoulder and gave her a grim look.
"I'm sorry, Kira, but I have to agree with the others. We can't tell Dr. Oliver about this." Jaden says as Kira stared at him shock, surprised by how serious he was as she was about to say something, but was once again interrupted as her science teacher turned to the group and raised an eyebrow at them.
"Are you guys coming?" Tommy says as Jaden and the others glanced at each other and turned back to Tommy as they nodded and followed after him as they made their way out of the forests.
"Okay, so we all agree that no one talks about this to anyone, no matter what," Conner says to Jaden, Ethan, and Kira as the four teenagers were walked through the school grounds after returning with Doctor Oliver, who had promptly driven off back to his house as he seems to be quite in a hurry for some weird reason.
"Yeah, sure, okay," Jaden says absentmindedly while playing with his Orange Gem as he throws up and down in the air.
"Are you sure it's safe for you to do that?" Ethan asked worriedly as Jaden rolled his eyes.
"Relax, man, it's not like this thing is going to shoot out a laser...or can it?" Jaden says while eyeing his Gem curiously as Kira rolled her eyes at his antics and then gained a thoughtful look on her face as she nodded to herself and turned to Jaden as she fished out her Yellow Gem.
"Well, if you like playing with Gems a lot, then you can have mine because I don't want any part on whatever this is," Kira says while handing her Gem over to the shocked Jaden. "Just forget I was here, and I'll do the same," Kira says as Jaden and the other boys continued staring at her in surprise.
"I'm telling you there's something weird about Dr. Oliver," Cassidy says to her friend Devin as they were walking across the school grounds. "I mean, seriously, I called Angel Grove High, and they wouldn't tell me anything about him. It's like his private records are some big secret." Cassiday says with a frown as she crossed her arms.
"Yeah, I kind of thought that was why they called them 'private' records. I mean, if they were public-" Devin says before yelping as Cassiday suddenly grabs his arm and pulls him over to behind a car.
"Devin, look, don't you think that's a little weird," Cassiday says while pointing at Jaden and the others, who were having a small argument with Kira as Devin nodded dumbly.
"Yeah, a bunch of kids standing around talking. Yeah, freaky man." Devin says as Cassiday stared at him in annoyance, not knowing if her friend is really sarcastic or really stupid...most likely the former.
"No, think about it, why would Conner McKnight, King of all Jocks, be hanging out with Ethan James?"
"Huh?" Devin asked confusedly, not knowing who he is as Casiday rolled her eyes.
"King of all Geeks."
"Oh."
"Yeah, and what's even weirder is that Jaden West and Kira Ford are together, and they are not either insulting each other or trying to kill one and another. Something really weird is going on." Cassiday says just as Kira let out an annoyed yell as she throws her hands in exasperation.
"You know what? I give up! I'm so over this!" Kira says while turning around to walk away in a huff.
"Ford, wait! Hey, you mind holding these?" Jaden asked Conner, who nodded as Jaden handed over the Yellow and Orange Gems and then ran up to Kira.
"What?" Kira asked sharply as Jaden caught up to her and glared at the young petite girl.
"You can't just walk away from this because you're scared. We're all in on this together." Jaden says as Kira glared at him.
"Watch me," Kira says as she was about to continue walking away when suddenly a gust of wind appeared as it blew the teen's hair back, and before Jaden and Kira could react, Messogog's minions appeared and latched onto the teens as they struggled to escape.
"Ooh, get the camera! Get the camera!" Cassiday says to Devin excitedly as the teen nodded and tried to open his backpack but accidentally spilled the contents inside on the ground. "Hurry up, Devin!" Cassiday ordered as Devin nodded fearfully and scrambled to find his camera.
"KIRA!/JADEN!" Conner and Ethan yelled in unison as they ran up to the duo to rescue them, but they were too late as a green portal appeared and sucked up a screaming Jaden, Kira, and the monsters away as Conner and Ethan looks around in shock/horror.
"They're gone," Ethan says grimly as Conner looks around for their friends but couldn't find them as the duo gave each other worried looks.
"So, what do you see?" Cassiday asked Devin eagerly but then deadpanned as she realized that Devin got distracted and was filming a butterfly as she facepalmed. A few minutes later, we see Conner and Ethan driving around in Conner's red mustang as they turned a sharp corner and raced off at high speed as they drove down the streets of Reefside.
"Okay, so where are we going?" Conner asked Ethan, who gave him a weak smile.
"Uh, Dr. Oliver's?" Ethan says meekly as Conner stared at him in disbelief.
"What's he gonna do?" Conner exclaimed, almost in a panic tone as Ethan raised his hands defensively.
"He's a dinosaur guy! Those things were dinosaurs...sort of, and we all had visions of dinosaurs when we touched the Gems. Maybe he knows what's happening." Ethan says as Conner slowly nodded in understatement, following his logic as they took another sharp turn.
"Where's does Dr. Oliver live?" Conner asked as Ethan reached into his backpack and pulled out a small device as Ethan pressed a couple of buttons and a screen popped up with Tommy's address as he turned back to Conner.
"1992 Valencia Road."
"Valencia Road, got it-Wait, that's like, way out in the middle of the woods!" Conner says as Ethan shrugs and the young jock groans, but reluctantly made his way over to Tommy's house. An hour later, we see the teens finally arriving at Tommy's remote house in the wilderness as they jumped out of Conner's car and made their way to the front porch as Conner peered in through the windows and Ethan knocked on the door as they waited patiently for Tommy to come out.
"Knock again," Conner says after a few minutes of awkward waiting as Ethan knocked again, but no one responded as Ethan turned to Conner with an annoyed look.
"Now what?" Ethan asked as Conner made his way to the door and knocks it firmly, only to frown in confusion as the door opened by itself, signaling that Tommy left it opened.
"What are you doing?" Ethan asked as the jock shrugged.
"It's not locked."
"He has no neighbors." Ethan pointed out as Conner gave him a look.
"What? You never heard of 'The Three Bears'?" Conner asked rhetorically before walking into the house as Ethan rolled his eyes and scoffed.
"Was that the last book you ever read?" Ethan asked sarcastically as he reluctantly followed after him, and they entered a small room, which seems to be Tommy's private study as Conner and Ethan looked around for their teacher.
"Dr. Oliver!" Conner called out but still got no response as the young Atleath looks around and smiled as he spotted a small plastic statue of a T-Rex's skeleton. "Hey, check it out!" Conner says while walking over to the statue as he reached out to touch it, but Ethan stopped him.
"Hey, remember the last time we tried to do something like that?" Ethan asked as Conner scoffed and rolled his eyes.
"The guy's a science teacher, not..." Conner trailed off as he touched the skull and twisted it as a panel on the floor lifted up. "...Batman." Conner finished blankly as he and Ethan shared a look and shrugged as they walked down the steps that lead to the same mysterious underground cave from earlier as the boys looked around the room in shock.
"This is the same place!" Ethan exclaimed as Conner looks around nervously.
"Are you freaking out right about now?" Conner asked as Ethan nodded.
"Yeah. I'd have to say I am," Ethan answered.
"If you're looking for extra credit. You're in the wrong place." A familiar voice says behind them as the boys jumped in shock and turned around as they saw Dr. Oliver glaring at them sternly as Conner and Ethan gulped in fear.
