Following the disaster of Poltava, the British began to use the knowledge that Bra'tac held on the supply depots of Apophis and focused on raiding the logistics of the Goa'uld. The most common tactic was to strike at worlds that produced food for the Jaffa and worlds that the Goa'uld used as mines. The British often sent enough men through the Stargate to briefly occupy the world. In that time, they evacuated as many people of the world as possible to usually New Hannover though sometimes New Windsor or Nelson were used. While the people of the evacuated the British destroyed mines stole crops and destroyed infrastructure. When the Goa'uld attacked through the Stargate the small size of the Stargate allowed the British to drown them in plasma and occasionally bullets. The Goa'uld were forced to detach Ha'taks of Al'keshs to crush the British forces and when they arrived at the planet the British fled.

As the feudal structure of the Goa'uld Empire meant that they could not from a truly centralized response to the British these raids on the worlds feeding the Jaffa, and producing the Goa'uld weapons soon weakened the Goa'uld heavily. The damage that the British raids caused led to the Goa'uld increasing their garrisons on worlds that they viewed as vital meaning that it was harder for the Goa'uld to track and find the British across the vastness of the galaxy. The raids also made the already vital mineral of Naquadah increasingly important to the Goa'uld as the British took the Naquadah mined on Goa'uld controlled worlds and in Jaffa staff weapons. With the British either taking the Goa'uld Naquadah or leaving time bombs in the mining carts. The convoys that transported the goods upholding the Goa'uld Empire swiftly became death traps as the British left firebombs in the crops that they did not take with them. While several convoys were destroyed by the time bombs hidden in the Naquadah detonating in orbit over a planet. The Goa'uld logistics were on the verge of collapse by 1930 but for 1927 the Jaffa and equipment used by the Goa'uld began to enter a sharp period of decline. Alongside such brutal Goa'uld defeats as Kimberly and Neu Deutschland the already weakened Goa'uld Empire drew close to the verge of collapse.

The world of Kimberly is by far one of the most important planets in the development of humanity and the British Empire. The world was in the central regions of the galaxy and held a lucrative position for both trade and military purposes. So, the Goa'uld fought over it bitterly with several major events in Goa'uld history happening within the orbit of the planet most notably the first defeat of Anubis. Thus, the surface of the planet was littered in shot down Goa'uld warships from many eras ranging from the early Death Gliders to Al'kesh and Ha'taks. When IEET-1 gated to the world they climbed a ridge to look upon a scene of ruin. Stretching further then the eye could see Goa'uld warships lay in broken ruins. IIET-1 immediately called in reinforcements and scientists to see what the British could gain from the world. IIET-1 was called away to another world early in the exploration and replaced with IIET-17 a team drawn from the Commonwealth of Orange in South Africa. The British had been working at Kimberly for two weeks sending everything that they found in a day back to earth in order to maximise the gain if the Goa'uld found them which they did. The Goa'uld that stumbled upon them was a minor System Lord allied to Lord Yu. He called in all of the Goa'uld nearby and so Ha'taks of Heru'ur, Apophis, and Ares all gathered on the far side of the planet to the British. When they launched their attack, the British forces were to spread out for Ha'tak orbital strikes to deal with them and so the Goa'uld ringed down a force of Jaffa. IIET-17 stumbled across the Jaffa ringing down early and were able to raise the alarm. The battle of Kimberly was waged through crumbling warships and across a bare hill. IIET-17 managed to hold the Jaffa off long enough for all of the British civilians to escape with their research. After several hours of fierce fighting IIET-17 were the only British left on the planet but the Jaffa were close enough to see where they Stargate was going if they dialled and IIET-17 choose to hold their ground around the Stargate sacrificing their lives for the British Empire. Or so they thought by the time that only three members were left the British returned to Kimberly with a vengeance. The reinforcements managed to drive the Jaffa back over the ridge allowing all of the British survivors to retreat through the Stargate to Earth without any of the Jaffa seeing the address. While the technology gained at Kimberly would not befit the British for a few years in the long run only the Stargate itself is more important.

While most of Humanity waged war against the Goa'uld in the stars the Mexican Civil war brought it home to roost. In the depths of the Yucatan Peninsula forces from the Government were patrolling due to rumours of support for the revolt to the north when they stumbled upon a pre-Maya temple. The government soldiers entered the main room of the temple and found an ancient Goa'uld sarcophagus. When the soldiers reached the sarcophagus, they choose to open it for unknown reasons and Hathor emerged. She had been imprisoned by her high priest before the rise of the Maya in Mexico and when she was freed from her tomb the millennia of anger that had stewed in her was released. The soldiers that had found her she twisted to her will easily and they formed the basis of her grand army that would sweep across Mexico.

The men that she had captured in her net would begin to strike out across the Yucatan peninsula kidnapping men and soldiers across the peninsula and dragging them back to her temple where Hathor bent them to her will. As her force grew the government noticed that their garrison in the Yucatan peninsula was growing smaller and assumed that it was from a group of rebels in the area. So, they sent reinforcements down south to find and crush whatever group was fighting against them in the south. The increased garrison only disgruntled the population allowing the agents of Hathor to slink into the population whispering promises of freedom and strength if they joined a rising force in the jungle that would rebuild Mexico to the strength they once held. The Mexican Civil War would paint the nation red with blood for Hathor was rising.

Winston Churchill stared at the sight of George V walking upside in the endless white plain that he had woken up in. For some reason he had two memories one of the world he knew of the Stargate and Goa'uld the other of a world with no Stargate of a brutal war that set the world ablaze. Then a voice split the air "Hello dear readers and Winston Churchill. So, forty updates that is pretty impressive. We have gone from the early Russian Civil War to the stars. I will just take this opportunity to thank some people. CountofDooku for his amazing maps, StormStar and Sam Broderick for pointing out when I am wrong. Also Analytical Engine and LeinadB93 for their amazing TLs that both deal with Stargate and the British Empire. To my fanfic readers know that a review is always appreciated, and I will answer any questions you have through PMs. Regards Southeren Legion." Winston Churchill proceed to notice a large cache of whiskey and get drunk it was far too late for this.

So yeah forty updates. Yey
