The British continued to explore the galaxy that was not under the control of the Goa'uld with many worlds being contacted at this time. While most held no benefit to humanity a few held decisively useful technologies and resources to the British war efforts. The world of Nova Dacia was populated by a subspecies of humans much like the Wulfen. Though the inhabitants of the world were completely different to the Wulfen of Fenris. Nova Dacia was populated by the Strigoi a species that subsisted on the blood of animals and Jaffa to live. When the Goa'uld that had created them realized that the Strigoi killed Jaffa for nourishment he fled abandoning the world and all who lived on it. When the Rumanian Interstellar Exploratory Team left the Stargate, they were faced by beasts from their worst nightmares. The Strigoi that the Rumanians first saw had just finished feeding from the corpse of an animal native to the world, so the imagery was far from pleasant for the first contact. But they managed to establish a peaceful communication. Thus, when the RIET returned to a human controlled world with the leader of the largest city Michael Dracul the reaction across the world was absolute shock the idea that vampires existed and were willing to act like the Wulfen was shocking to say the least. The leader of the Strigoi agreed to join war against the Goa'uld and pledged allegiance to King Michael I of the Rumanians and formed a bodyguard for the King of the land that the Strigoi had originated from. Though in reality Nova Dacia acted as a sovereign state that was in a personal union with Rumania and this would remain for several years until the Royal Rumanian Navy got their hands on the NMIS Michael the Great.

Neu Deutschland was the greatest victory of the allied human forces against the Goa'uld until the Battle of Dakara. The world was first found by the Prussian Interstellar Exploratory Team and they found a world populated by Germans. The majority of the population had been drawn from the lands that would one day become Bavaria, Swabia, and Saxony but there was a large Prussian and Hanoverian population on Neu Deutschland. The people when they learned of the German Empire and people immediately began to support the nation and the idea of German unity. When word returned to Germany itself support among the population of the Goa'uld war increased massively. Protests stopped Berlin demanding that the German government liberate their brothers and sisters on Neu Deutschland. The German government entered into negotiations with the British, Russian, French, and American governments on what to do with the planet as the Prussian team had learned that Ra was expected to arrive at the planet in late 1928. The German government argued that the time before Ra arrived would allow them to fortify the planet with the weapons that they had raised on Nelson, new Windsor, Fenris, and Earth itself to target Ha'taks and other Goa'uld aerial technology. The British, Russians, and French agreed but the United States of America with a Democratic-Conservative congress refused to support the action. Thus, while the forces of the British, German, and French Empires dug in across Neu Deutschland preparing for Ra to strike with his full force in a year.

The fall of Yucatan to Hathor alarmed the government in Mexico City deeply but the rebels to the north had launched an offensive aimed at capturing the east coast of Mexico and dividing the Mexican forces. While the Mexican government blunted the offensive it drained forces that they could have used to attack Yucatan allowing Hathor to develop a stronger base. She would proclaim the 16th of September 1927 the National Army for the Liberation of the Mexican State. Then she would launch Operation Iturbide an operation devoted to capturing the state of Campeche and then striking north. The forces under the banner of the Eagle broke the Mexican defenders their cruelty and lack of fear terrifying their enemies. The bloodiest battle of Operation Iturbide was the battle of Campeche City due to its position close to the Yucatan border and its status as the state capital a large force was assigned there. The forces of Hathor cut off the city save for the port and ordered the surrender the commander of the Mexican forces refused. The Mexican defenders had just over a thousand men holding the city against them the soldiers of Hathor were five times their number. By the time the city fell to the National Army for the Liberation of the Mexican State three thousand men had died not among them was the Mexican commander who had been captured late in the battle. He was dragged before Hathor and fell into her spell. While many have pointed out that it would have been smarter to make him serve Hathor the sadism of the Goa'uld has always been a defining trait. He was flayed alive and crucified outside the church and convent of San Francisco. The most disturbing thing was that as he had fallen under the control of Hathor she made him enjoy the pain. With the fall of Campeche City, the rest of the state followed suit and Hathor's madness spread. The first actions of the Great Trail began in Campeche. Hathor's power of control only worked on human beings that were sexually attracted to her. While she had some influence over subspecies like the Wulfen and the Strigoi it came out as a brief pause in their actions. Thus, all of those she had no power over had to be dealt with. The homosexual males were rounded up during Hathor's visits to the states their corpses would be hung upside down in the centre of their towns. The majority of women choose to keep their heads down and some even joined the National Rebirth Party that Hathor had declared. Those few who spoke out against the regime were imprisoned and threated to a fate that a children friendly work cannot even brush over. The madness of Hathor had truly begun Mexico would never be the same the trauma of Hathor's war can still be seen in the nation today with the prominence of Catholicism in the Mexican government. While Europe and the United States began tow worry about Mexico and Hathor they did not yet realize that she was a Goa'uld.
