The Battle of Neu Deutschland was the largest battle in the Goa'uld war up to that point with over two hundred thousand Jaffa facing off against over a hundred thousand allied troops. The battle began when the Ha'tak of Ra entered orbit of New Deutschland and he saw the forces on the planet. Despite what Ra boosted his personal Ha'tak did not have enough Jaffa aboard to crush the allied soldiers on the planet. Thus he called up reinforcements from across his vast personal fiefs alongside the Goa'uld that he had taken along with drawing upon their sizeable Jaffa forces, The final Jaffa muster finished on the 15th of June 1928 and the full force of the Goa'uld Empire attacked the world of Neu Deutschland.
While it would have bene much smarter and in the long better for the Goa'uld to just atomize the allied forces from orbit Ra wished to secure a truly devasting victory that would outstrip Poltava in damages done to the allied forces. When the first Ha'tak of Apophis entered the orbit of the planet to secure the landing ground he was fired upon by the British plasma emplacements nearby. While the shields of the Ha'tak were able to take several shots from the piece just before the ship landed the shields failed and the British BL 18-inch Mk I plasma naval guns tore into the armour of the Ha'tak ships. The damage while severe was not enough to stop the Ha'tak from landing and the Jaffa aboard began to evacuate the ship and secure a landing ground. Only to run right into British and German artillery and machine guns shredding their lines. The Ha'tak attempted to withdraw from the planet and enter low orbit to take out the British guns. The Ha'tak had taken to much damage for the attempt to work. One of the luckiest Artillery shots in British history had managed to take out their communications so they could not warn their allies. Thus, when the British shot hit the engines of the Ha'tak the explosion that resulted the Goa'uld thought was a normal accident caused by the Jaffa aboard.
Despite the destruction of the first Ha'tak used to secure a landing ground the Jaffa had managed to form a perimeter large enough for Ha'taks to land and disgorge reinforcements for the Goa'uld forces. The initial landing area of the Goa'uld had been in an isolated valley that was connected to the plains to the north of the Stargate through a winding gorge. Thus, as the Jaffa managed to force the allies back to the gorge the British artillery pieces on the surrounding mountains became allied pockets against the Goa'uld. The battle of Hohenstaufen Gorge lasted for a week as the Jaffa slowly ground through the allied defensive positions within the gorge. When the Jaffa managed to break out of the gorge they entered the Moltke plains. Where the Russian, British and German armoured forces were able to run rampart crippling the Jaffa forces and logistics. While the armoured forces of the allies' tore through the Jaffa forces the Royal Air Force, and the Luftwaffe duelled the Goa'uld Death Gliders and Al'kesh above the Moltke Plains. The first major Goa'uld casualty was on the 29th of June was the First Prime of Apophis died in the first battle of Barbarossa hill when a Russian Land-ship ran him over with their treads as they headed towards the Jaffa assault on the French lines to north west of the Stargate.
But despite several major victories against the Goa'uld on the plains of Neu Deutschland the Jaffa still pushed forwards their insane devotion to their Goa'uld tyrants allowed them to charge into trenches and bunkers outfitted with plasma machine guns. The trenches and other defences that the allies had raised over the past year were designed to take as many Jaffa lives as possible. Thus, when the allies withdrew from their defensive lines they detonated mines and other explosives destroying the trenches stopping the Jaffa from using them. Often the destruction of the allied trenches killed the Jaffa that had captured the trenches. The Goa'uld forces were slowly losing the air war as the British had dug in several major anti-aircraft positions across Neu Deutschland allowing them to reap a brutal toll against the Goa'uld Death Gliders and Al'kesh as they attempted to attack the allied forces. The efforts of the British were paying very well with several Al'kesh shot down and captured by British troops allowing them to advance their knowledge and development of the technology they had gained at Kimberly.
To the Goa'uld the battle had been a series of failures and discontent towards Ra was growing after all he had been unable to crush the allied forces on the planet despite his numerical advantage. The rumour that Apophis was planning a coup has never been proven. Somehow it reached Ra after the decisive Goa'uld defeat of the Neu Silesian pocket and the loss of so many of his Jaffa his sanity and paranoia was to high to make smart decisions. Ra ordered on the 10th of September for all of his Jaffa and ships to open fire on those who bore allegiance to Apophis. The slaughter began when the forces of Apophis were assigned to lead the assaults on the 10th without support and took the usual heavy casualties as they withdrew to the Jaffa positions the forces of Ra opened fire slaughtering the Jaffa of Apophis. In the skies above the Great Betrayal Ra's Ha'taks poured fire into Apophis's ships. The forces of Lord Yu and Cronus at first stood there in shock and then they opened fire on the forces of Apophis. At the time of the Great Betrayal Apophis was on his command Ha'tak but when Ra's fleet opened fire on him he immediately ordered the withdrawal of all his forces from the system. While most of Apophis's forces were killed several Ha'taks managed to escape allowing him to proclaim a state of rebellion against the Goa'uld Empire and his brother Ra.
The effect of the beginning of the Goa'uld Civil War upon the Battle of Neu Deutschland was that the allied forces were able to launch major counter attacks across the front with the allied Armoured forces and French First Army leading the counter strike across the planet. The Jaffa were forced back in battle after battle as the lack of forces from the slaughter of the Jaffa of Apophis stopped them from reinforcing their lines. The allied forces threw the Jaffa back across the planet and by the 1st of November they launched an assault on Hohenstaufen Gorge. The gorge would fall on the 22nd of November when the pockets defending the British pieces that had been attacking the Goa'uld Ha'taks launched counterattacks allowing the allies to break through the last few meters of Hohenstaufen Gorge into the landing valley where the final phase of the battle began. By the 10th of February, the last Jaffa was killed on Neu Deutschland and the allied forces had secured their greatest victory against the Goa'uld. The cost was severe though over then thousand allied men had died and the numbers of Jaffa that died is unknown to this day. Though there have been much bloodier battles in the ledgers of Imperial Stargate Command the Battle of Neu Deutschland was the first were all of humanity bleed together against the Goa'uld.

The fall of the south to the Mexican National State weakened the support for the central Mexican government among the people as they saw a new force in the Mexican Civil War that stretched from the Caribbean Sea to the Pacific Ocean. In order to reinforce their support and make it seem that the Mexican government was fighting against the rebels that were rising against them and launched an attack on the Cristero held territory to defeat the force that it seemed that they could defeat. But as they attacked the Cristeros the Mexican National State march north to capture the states of Veracruz, Oaxaca, Puebla, and Guerrero.
The assaults of Hathor were led by the first of her Proto-Jaffa using the symbiotes that Hathor had spawned in her command temple. Thus, when the forces of Hathor charged north their leaders were able to take bullet after bullet before they fell in battle. The already low morale of the Mexican forces often collapsed when the assaults of Hathor's Proto-Jaffa ravaged their lines. While they did not use plasma weapons due to Hathor's worry that the great powers would intervene in Mexico against her if she showed that she was a Goa'uld or had access to Goa'uld technology. The Proto-Jaffa of Hathor still were the terrors of the Mexican forces even without Staff Weapons or other Goa'uld weapons. This time also was when Hathor ordered the creation of the weapons that would define the initial intervention against Hathor.
