The decisive Goa'uld defeat of Neu Deutschland completely changed the galactic stance of the British and the Goa'uld as Apophis rose in rebellion against Ra following the Great Betrayal. The initial balance of power was slated towards the forces of Ra due to the majority of the System Lords swearing allegiance to Ra. Many of Apophis's allies abandoned him and joined Ra weakening his already crippled forces against Ra. However, the balance was not as slanted as it appeared Ra, Cronus, and Lord Yu had all had their greatest Jaffa killed on Neu Deutschland so many of the forces that they threw at Apophis were barely trained newly raised Jaffa. Not that Apophis was any better, but he had several key benefits on his side. First the fact that Ra's forces had opened fire first gave him more than enough propaganda to make his Jaffa believe that the war was one of extermination against the followers of Apophis. Secondly the war was not popular among the other Goa'uld due to worry that the precedent of Ra just opening fire on the forces of his own brother would lead to him snapping and purging them. Thirdly the defeat at New Deutschland weakened the perspective of Ra to his followers since a massive amount of his Jaffa had been killed by the allied forces.
To the allied forces none of this mattered besides the fact that the Goa'uld were fighting each other allowing them to strike at even more worlds disrupting the Goa'uld logistics and manpower pools. The logistics of both the Goa'uld and Apophis were heavily weakened by the raiding of their opposition on the well-known trade routes that connected the divided Goa'uld Empire. The work of the British had already weakened the Goa'uld Empire but with sabotage from the British and raiding from Apophis made it even worse. The lack of resources became crippling to some of the more isolated Goa'uld held planets allowing the allied forces to conquer several worlds across the galaxy. Some of the more notable worlds to fall to the allies in this period include Shakespeare, Liberté, Lincoln, and Palaiologos.
However not only the allies and Goa'uld were affected by the Goa'uld civil war many of the minor species across the Milky Way were affected by the collapse of the Goa'uld authority. The minor civilization of the Dawi managed to contact the allies and form an alliance. The largest polity that was affected however was no within the Milky Way but beyond the galaxy. The reaction of the Asgard Empire to the collapse of the Goa'uld was to dispatch Commander Thor once more to New Windsor to enter negotiations with the allied forces after the defeat of an attempted Replicator offensive towards Hala.

The collapse of the Goa'uld into civil war threatened the Asgard protectorates in the Milky Way Galaxy and the Asgard High Council decided to dispatch Commander Thor to the world of New Windsor to talk to the British about the recent events. As the Biliskner descended through the skies of New Windsor for the second time the British representatives were a bit more prepared. The representative of the British was the newly elected head of the Assembly of New Windsor. When Thor appeared in front of James C. Welsh the representative managed to lead Thor to the military representatives from Royal Stargate Command to explain what had happened.
The revelation that the allied Human forces had broken the forces of Ra at Neu Deutschland and that Ra was warring against Apophis was information that deeply befitted the Asgard as it allowed the High Council to withdraw forces from the Milky Way to focus against the Replicators. As Thor prepared to leave back to the Biliskner he noticed the HMS James Cook sailing by New Avondale. Thor knew of the Asgard Cruisers but the Asgard until that point had not developed Destroyers. Thor would request that his Naval guide explain what the Destroyer was and its purpose. The Naval representative explained the purpose of Destroyers to Thor. Thor would then withdraw to the Biliskner and sat in great thought as he returned to Hala and the Asgard High Council.
The report that Thor gave to the High Council focused on three main elements what was happening in the Goa'uld Empire, how the Asgard could use this to focus against the Replicators and finally his suggestion to start building Destroyers. The collapse of the Goa'uld and the ability to reinforce the frontlines against the Replicators was happily received by the High Council. The proposal on Destroyers less so. The idea of a light ship designed to support the more powerful battleships went against the entire Asgard military philosophy at the time. Thor managed to win enough of the High Council over for three Destroyers to be built and assigned to Thor's command in the next battle against the Replicators.

The Fall of the majority of the states south of Mexico City to Hathor collapsed the authority of the central government beyond Mexico City itself which was now the target of Hathor's wrath. Advancing from every cardinal direction save the north Hathor launched the Grand Offensive to crush the forces of the government permanently. The President one Emilio Portes Gil committed suicide on the 16th of March 1929 the day before Hathor's assault began. The death of the President threw the city into chaos and Plutarco Elías Calles seized power and declared that he would hold Mexico City until his dying breath.
Hathor's forces attacked with their usual fearlessness and ferocity tearing through the demoralized Mexican forces. The early stages of the Battle of Mexico City saw some of the largest defections to Hathor in the entire war with several key defensive positions surrendering when Hathor's forces arrived. Despite what Plutarco Elías Calles roared in his speeches from the National Palace the battle of Mexico City was no Constantinople or Moscow. Hathor's forces pushed through the defences until they reached the National Palace where the last of the truly loyal forces prepared to die. Hathor was more then willing to fulfil their wishes. The storming of the National Palace saw the fiercest fighting but despite their best efforts Plutarco Elías Calles was captured and the city fell.
Hathor used the propaganda of holding the capital perfectly. Plutarco Elías Calles fell under her control and announced the dissolution of the United Mexican States in favour of Hathor's National State of Mexico. However, after the announcement of the dissolution of the United Mexican States Plutarco Elías Calles held no use to Hathor and she released her wrath onto him. Plutarco Elías Calles was flayed alive and nailed to front of the National Palace alongside the men who had defended the Palace. As Hathor unleashed her madness against the people of Mexico City the United States of America finally decided to intervene. The United States of America declared war on the National State of Mexico and marched south. The Mexican intervention had begun.

Ever since the decision to unite in the Colonial Conference of 1906 the British Empire had been growing closer together the militaries of the Dominions of Canada and Australia had been incorporated under Imperial High Command that same year. Thus, by late 1929 the states that would ascend to the United Empire of Britannia were ready and willing. The Imperial Hall had been renovated to serve as a Parliamentary Hall and the decision was made on 31st of December 1929 the British Empire would unite. The first election would be held the next year and George V went to work appointing half of the members of the House of Consuls.
After several months of preparation, the day arrived across the world the citizens of the Empire gathered for the upcoming celebrations. The method that the British had chosen to unify the Empire was that at midnight local time the local Prime Minister and Governor General would sign the 1929 Act of Union and ascend to the United Empire. The first of the Commonwealths to do this was the Commonwealth of New Zealand followed by the Commonwealth of Australia, Ceylon, Natal, Orange, Bechuanaland and Transvaal, The Cape, The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, the West Indies, Jamaica, and Canada. The new nation stretched across the world and as Emperor George V gave his speech before Imperial Hall the world was shown the power of the United Empire of Britannia.
