The first election to the Imperial Parliament in London was a divided mess as the new Imperial Parties tried to establish themselves across the United Empire. The three major parties that emerged were the United Imperial Conservative and Loyalists Party led by Stanley Baldwin. The second major party was the Imperial Liberal Party led by David Lloyd-George who alongside several other major British politicians had resigned and stood for new Imperial seats. The final party was the United Labour Party led by Ramsay MacDonald. The Imperial Election of 1930 was the largest election in history with over six hundred million people voting. The initial suggestion had been to make an electorate for a hundred-thousand people, but the sheer size of the population led to each electorate being made up of two hundred-thousand people. This still left the House of Representatives with 330 seats up for grabs. The Imperial Liberal Party managed to secure the position of the largest party in the House of Representatives taking 175 seats not close enough to form a government and thus they entered into a coalition with the United Labour Party much like the Liberals had been doing in the United Kingdom prior to the Imperial Federation. Winston Churchill was elected to the position of speaker and first Imperial Parliament got to work.

The United Empire of Britannia is the largest country on earth under Emperor George V and Prime Minister David Lloyd-George the new Empire is focusing on the development of their less well-off areas and continuing their expeditions through the Stargate. The government's economic policy is highly based of the work of one John Maynard Keynes and through that their African holdings are being heavily developed industrially. Their international standing is of humanities sole Hyperpower none of their allies can threaten them and their only enemy could crush humanity if they unleashed their full force against them.

The German Empire has entered a period of economic growth and political liberalization their colonies have been developed and the economic connection to the rest of Europe has ensured their dominance over eastern Europe. Wilhelm III while much more liberal and democratic then his father was though he still believed in monarchism and was very conservative. The first SPD chancellor had been elected in 1924 entering into a coalition with several small liberal, and progressive parties. The election of 1927 had displaced the SPD government for the return of the German Conservative Party to power. The many internal states had joined in the national trend of political liberalization leading to the rise of certain views that would have taken longer to arise without the liberalization. The most notable of these new views was the rise of Pan-German ideas supporting unification with the German regions of Danubia a view that also arose within Danubia itself.

The Kingdom of Italy was thriving their decisive victory against the Ottoman Empire had ensured political stability and economic growth. The nationalists within Italian society had grumbled about only taking Libya instead of taking the Dodecanese islands as well. Despite the nationalist's complaints the Kingdom of Italy managed to build a strong democratic base with political liberalization and stability being insured within the Kingdom over the next two days. Their contribution to the Goa'uld war became a source of national pride despite the fact they had not conquered a planet from the Goa'uld like the Germans had with Neu Deutschland and several other nations. Yet despite their failures Italy was entering a thriving period of growth and liberalization.

The Russian Empire was growing at a steady pace with following the end of the Russian Civil War and the federalization of the empire in 1926. By 1927 they had been allowed to join the European Union allowing the states of western Europe to further their investments in Russia. The majority of the population was supportive of the Tsar and following the birth of his first son the future Nicholas III the House of Romanov were entrenched in their position as Tsar of Russia. Russia was also the birth ground of a new ideology of Monarcho-Socialism as many of the people of Russia supported the Tsar and the monarchy and socialism itself was tainted following the atrocities of Trotsky. While the Imperial Socialist Party would grow quickly it remained a minor party for the early years of its existence it would grow slowly over time.

The Scandinavian Kingdoms consisting of the Kingdom of Norway, Kingdom of Sweden, Kingdom of Denmark, and the United Kingdom of Finland and Estonia had economically, politically, and culturally grown. The Kingdom of Norway had become the centre of the newly raising Norse Paganism movement which had be reborn following the discovery of the Wulfen and the contact of the Asgard with humanity. The Kingdom of Sweden was focusing upon the newly reconquered Åland islands, but they had dispatched a single Interstellar Exploratory Team to aid the British. The Danish had sent a single Interstellar Exploratory Team off to fight the Goa'uld but other then that they were staying peaceful. The United Kingdom of Finland and Estonia had expanded into Karelia following the end of the Russian Civil War and had focused on industrial development and connecting the two parts of the Kingdom.

The Empire of Japan had fully transitioned to a democracy by the death of Emperor Taishō in 1926 and the succession of his son Emperor Hirohito to the throne reinforced the power of the Parliament of the Empire of Japan over the Imperial Armed Forces. The Empire was mostly focused on the development of their northern Siberian holdings that they had gained following the Russian Civil War. The movements that had arisen to annex their puppet state of the Empire of Korea were beaten into the ground and the nominally independent puppet state of Korea formed one of the Japanese's greatest allies.

The United States of America upon the time of Imperial Federation was about to intervene into the Mexican Civil War against Hathor. At the time they were under the first non-Republican-Progressive president since 1912. The Republican-Progressive party had formed in late 1923 and the Democratic Party had reached out to the Conservative Party to form a coalition much like the Republican-Progressives had. The Conservative Party accepted the offer and the Democratic-Conservative Party was born. They managed to win against the Republican-Progressive party that had entered a period of complacency under the ticket of Al Smith and Charles Curtis with only three electoral college votes securing their victory.

The Mexican National State is a reactionary dictatorship under the complete control of Hathor while it brands itself as a transitional government it is designed to last for an eternity under the complete control of Hathor. The state has no head of government and all possible power is vested in the form of Hathor. She is currently facing a rising insurgency as the Holy Christian Brotherhood strike when and wherever they can. The propaganda posters of the Knight, Conquistador, and insurgent standing together against the Eagle that Hathor had chosen to adopt as her symbol. The Mexican National State will fall soon but it will paint its enemies in their blood.
