The conquest of Brunel was a slow process as the British were unable to send through any technology that would prove a threat to them if Hacque was defeated or turned against them. Not that the British cared the longer the war the more that their ally of Hacque would be in their debt, so they continued to pour outdated weapons into the hands of their 'allies.' The war slowly began to turn in the British favour as their allies unleashed the first airplanes on the world alongside modern artillery. The Kingdom of Hacque managed to liberate all of their territory and then went on the offensive. Hacque captured the capital of their neighbour and razed it to the ground the Rampage of Hacque had begun.

The fall of the north-west of Mexico to the Americans and the loss of the eastern forces involved in the Battle of New Orleans weakened Hathor decisively. It is around this time that Agent Beowulf reveals that she already knew that the war was lost. Instead of doing the smart thing and surrendering to the allies and almost definitely getting a prison sentence as they drain as much information from her as possible Hathor choose to fight. The preparations for Operation Baktun began at this time in Mexico City and other major cities across Mexico as Hathor prepared for the final struggle against the foreign Imperialist invaders.

A full of half of the four hundred thousand men who had invaded the United States in 1930 were dead following the defeats of Operation Sledgehammer and Operation Liberty. The remainder remained in Texas the northern assault had been blunted outside Austin and the front had stayed quiet from then save for the Mexican withdrawal from the Austin salient. Following that both sides dug in over the winter. This is when the Imperial Air Force and the newly founded United States Army Air Force began to attack the frontline and the cities of Mexico with their full force their Death Gliders swiftly transformed the cities and roads into blazing rubble. This allowed the Holy Christian Brotherhood to grow swiftly as the more moderate members of the public that were not controlled by Hathor choose to join the Holy Christian Brotherhood as they promised to end the war quickly. The Holy Christian Brotherhood would not be able to fulfill that promise without support from the allies against Hathor and so they managed to smuggle a few operatives to the Baja California Remanent. The operatives from the Holy Christian Brotherhood managed to reach the American military and were taken in for questioning the British had already worked out that a single shot from a Zat'nik'tel freed someone from Hathor's control and both were shot by the Zat'nik'tels to be sure that they were telling the truth. The revelation that there was a large resistance to Hathor within Mexico proved useful to the allies and they immediately opened permanent communication between the Holy Christian Brotherhood and the allied forces on how the Brotherhood could act to aid the allies against Hathor. The allies began to supply more advanced explosives and radios to the Brotherhood allowing their sabotage to be more advanced. The Brotherhood also was given small broadcasters that allowed the allies to strike at the few factories in Mexico and the farms that supplied the Mexican forces with more precision destroying anything and everything that could potentially benefit the Mexican war effort. This renewed campaign against the industry of Mexico led to the creation of the worlds first bomber when the Imperial Air Force modified the design of the Death Glider to carry Naquadah enhanced bombs to target industry and the cities. While controversial the allied bombing campaign was vital to ending the war as the already limited industry of Mexico was reduced to blazing rubble allowing the allies to crush the Mexicans with less causalities then they would have to deal with if not for the bombings.

The Mexican forces left in Texas had dug in over the winter of 1930-1931 preparing several layers of trenches and other defences so that they could whether the upcoming assault from the Americans and British. Of course, to counter this the Imperial Air Force and the United States Army Air Force unleashed their wrath unto the Mexicans as they dug in. The attempts to build any fortifications more advanced then a trench were all reduced to a pile of burnt corpses as the Imperial Air Force and United States Army Air Force showed their uses to their respective governments. By the end of the winter the balance had decisively shifted towards the allies in every way. Many of the new soldiers that had joined the army following the razing of the Alamo reached the frontlines outstripping the pre-war nine hundred thousand men massively. The American people and government were champing to go on the offensive and the American Army and Imperial High Command were more than willing to follow the will of the people. The plans for Operations Longhorn, Stapler and Atlas were all approved at this time and the allied forces began to prepare for a grand offensive against Hathor in Texas and Belize to end her reign of terror as soon as possible.

On the 10th of February the first stage of Operation Longhorn and for the next twenty days the combined forces of the Imperial Navy and Air Force alongside the United States Navy and United States Army Air Force opened fire of the forces of Hathor. The blazing fire while not subtle did kill thousands of Mexico's desperately needed men and any attempted reinforcements were plastered with more fire then the areas that they were reinforcing. The bombardment is one of the largest in human history and many of the lakes that cover the south of Texas originate from the bombardment and it is easy to find burnt skeletons at the bottom of said lakes. Then on the 2nd of March 1931 the second stage of Operations Longhorn, Stapler and Atlas were authorized to commence.

On both the Texan front and the Belizean front the allies counterattacked with their full force. Operation Longhorn was the American plan to reach the Rio Grande and was divided into three main fronts. The coastal, interior and New Mexican all pushed along their namesake area to reach the Rio Grande all the while linking up with the British landings of Operation Stapler. Operation Stapler was the landing of British troops along the Texan coast which would then strike the Mexicans from the rear or the flank in some cases. Operation Atlas was the liberation of all of Belize from Hathor's few advances and the conquest of the Guatemalan Caribbean coast. The end of Hathor's reign had come.
