By 1933 the war of Ra's Succession was shifting towards Heru'ur as the sheer number of Jaffa and Ha'taks he had available to use against his enemies allowed him to dominate the front with numbers. Alongside his reasonable grasp of strategy, the war was rapidly seeming like Heru'ur would secure a victory. To counter this Lord Yu and Cronus agreed to a cease fire between the two until Heru'ur was defeated. The ceasefire also allowed the temporarily allied claimants to focus on swaying the neutral System Lords to their side through both truth and lies. The most notable lie was that Heru'ur wished to strip many of the powers and rights that the System Lords had held under Ra. The irony of this was that some of the System Lords that had pledged allegiance to Heru'ur believed the lies and rose up against Heru'ur while he crushed them quickly he was forced to rescind the traditional rights of the System Lords making the lies of Lord Yu and Cronus true. As Heru'ur crushed the rebels that had risen against him the forces of Cronus and Lord Yu launched a series of assaults against the many worlds under the control of Heru'ur. All the while in the background the allies began to strike against the weakened Goa'uld by exploiting Amaterasu's knowledge.

The Carlist offensive into the south of Spain following the end of winter of 1923-33 was a complete success but not in the region they planned in. The initial assault was in the east of Spain to utilize the obliteration of the Republican Army of the North and the Carlist capture of Zaragoza. To counter this the Republicans had reinforced the east heavily often by stripping the west. Thus, when the initial Carlist assault was launched in the east the Carlists charged into a mess of fortifications and men while they advanced it was slow and bloody. The Carlist assault had also included feints in the west against the light Republican defences along the Cantabrian Mountains. Against the expectations of the Carlist High Command the Republicans had stripped forces from the west due to a belief that the Carlists had no significant forces there. Thus, the Carlists were easily able to break through the weakened Republican garrison of the area. The breakthrough in the west compared to the slog in the east proved a conundrum to the Carlists as they had a division in reserve in the region, but it could perhaps be a Republican feint or trap. However, on the other hand if they went all in they could potentially capture Madrid and weaken the Republican cause. It took King Xavier I himself to intervene in support of the assault for it to go ahead and on the 27th of March the Second Royal Infantry Division launched their attack towards Madrid and the Republican Government.

Following the Monarchist exile to the Canary Islands and the formation of the Provisional Royal Government for the Reclamation of the Spanish Homeland the newly formed government in exile did for lack of a better term bugger all. Alfonso XII spent his days partying across Tenerife while the military began planning for the 'Grand Reclamation of the Spanish Homeland' needless to say that has not and never will happen. The majority of the pre-collapse navy had joined the monarchists but most of the army had joined the Republic or been unable to evacuate from Cadiz. The military were the first to work out the homeland could not be reclaimed with reports from as early as the fall of Zaragoza showing that the military knew the homeland was lost. This was also when the Franco proposal was first made suggesting that Alfonso XII declare the Canary Islands independent and abandon Spain. While the proposal was entirely theoretical at the time Franco himself did not even support the idea in later years it would not look so ridiculous.

The Fall of Madrid
The monarchist government has managed to reconquer the capital of Spain today with the Republican paramilitaries that had originally risen up being no match for the soldiers of the Spanish Army. As the Spanish Army marches through the streets of Madrid one more the government of Alfonso XII has been purging the few known revolutionaries that did not manage to escape the city before it fell. The Republican Government has gone missing, but it has been confirmed they escaped the city before it fell. With the reconquest of the city the Republican forces seem to be on their last legs as the Monarchists advance from the south.
The Fall of Bilbao
Alfonso Xii has announced that the capital of the Carlist revolt has fallen to the forces that swear allegiance to the monarchist government. The Cross of Burgundy has been torn down across the city and several courts have been set up to try the few traitors to the King that were found. The Carlist government managed to escape before the fall of the city and is currently leading the crumbling resistance against the resurgent government. The fall of their capital puts serious doubt on the Carlist ability to continue the war effort and it seems that they are on the verge of defeat.
Monarchists Victorious in the Spanish Collapse
King Alfonso XII has announced the fall of the last forces resisting the monarchist government and the reunification of Spain under the Monarchist banner. Across the country the rebels that rose against the government have been pacified. The rising power of the military in the Spanish government has worried many of the world powers. The Spanish government has announced the recognition of the Second Kingdom of Aragon and the Kingdom of Gallica though they have complained over the world powers seizing Spanish territory to create puppet states under the rule pf junior sons of the ruling houses of Europe. Despite the effort that was needed to get there the Royal Lion stands over Spain once more.
Spanish reconquest of Morocco
The government that has so recently reunited Spain had successfully landed across the Moroccan coast the defending forces were beaten back and the Spanish rule over Morocco was re-established. The leaders of the revolt that declared independence after the chaos of the Spanish Collapse have fled to the Kingdom of the Arabs to form a government in exile. The reconquest of Morocco shows that the reunified Spanish government has retaken their place on the world stage despite the damage of the Spanish collapse. King Alfonso XII has toured the reconjured region and despite several attempts on his life has pardoned the people of Morocco due to their leaders misleading them.
Monarchist Government in Exile declares Canary Islands Independent.
The collapse of order in the mainland of Spain had led to the exiled monarchist government to declare the independence of the Canary Islands. Alfonso XII flanked by generals and high-ranking members of government has announced that despite his wishes Spain has fallen and there is no hope for reconquest. Following that he has declared that the Canary Islands will henceforth be a sovereign Kingdom under himself as King Alfonso I. The announcement comes as a surprise to many as the Provisional Royal Government for the Reclamation of the Spanish Homeland had been noted for their fiercely nationalistic views. However, despite the strangeness of the announcement the new Kingdom seems to be in a strong position to thrive but only time will tell.

So, I have written sixty updates well call me a hedgehog and roll me in the mud I did not expect that it would take this long. The recent updates have been a bit weird with the HOI4 news events they are not cannon just flavour events I wanted to write. The main reason being that I live in Melbourne Australia and we are in the midst of a second wave of Covid so I just wanted to write something that I really like to just clear my head and stop me from going mad. So yeah sixty updates dear god why and how on earth am I doing this.
