The allies mostly sat out of the War of Ra's Succession until the surrender of Amaterasu and her information on where important worlds to the Goa'uld where. The allies made full use of the knowledge and ran rampart across several major industrial worlds. The destruction of the few worlds that the entirety of the Goa'uld industry depended upon was devastating to the divided empire. Heru'ur reacted by increasing the already large garrisons on the industrial worlds while his opponents began to use them as areas for long serving Jaffa to defend instead of fighting on the front lines against Heru'ur. The allies mostly raided worlds under the control of Cronus compared to those under Lord Yu or Heru'ur due to the known internal divisions between the Goa'uld and the hopes to exploit them. The entire war at this stage was the allies striking where the Goa'uld had stationed their forces with overwhelming firepower destroying as much as possible before running away. The aim to increase the already prominent divisions between the Goa'uld proved more than successful. With the alliance between Lord Yu and Cronus growing highly tense with several incidents of friendly fire between the Jaffa of the two System Lords happening towards the end of 1933.

The Carlist breakthrough in the west and the strike towards Madrid was a victory for the Carlists while not decisive or war ending it did shift the war in favour towards the Carlists. The Republicans managed to halt the Carlists advance to the north of Madrid. However, the front was close to the city itself and there were several suggestions in the Republican government to abandon the city until the front was secured. Both sides began to withdraw forces from the east to reinforce the Madrid front with the Republicans withdrawing three of the divisions they had entrenched in the east of Spain. As the Republicans withdrew their forces from the east the Carlists launched an attack expecting it to end the same as the earlier attacks against the Republicans in the east. However, the Republican withdrawals to the Madrid front allowed the Carlists to breakthrough on the eastern regions of Spain and push towards the Mediterranean Coast. The seeming collapse of the Republican lines upon both sides of the front weakened the already low support for the Republican regime among the populace they controlled. With many of the communist groups that had supported the Republican government until the joint failures of the Madrid Salient and the loss of the northern Mediterranean Coast to the Carlist advance rising up against the Republic. The majority of the communist paramilitaries were crushed quickly by the Republicans. However, the movement of troops that were desperately needed against the Carlists allowed the Carlists to advance further and by the 1st of May Madrid was the northernmost holding of the Republic. The loss of nearly all land north of Tagus river save for the Madrid Salient was an absolute disaster to the Republic with several major conservative politicians leaving the Republic for the Carlists while the few reactionary paramilitaries began to act out against the Republican forces with even more cruelty.

During the Goa'uld war the newly independent states of eastern Europe often were able to crystallize their national identity following the imposition of a monarchy in them by the Germans and the British. The Kingdom of Poland and the Second Grand Duchy of Lithuania focused heavily on rebuilding their national identity with many works set in or celebrating the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth with some major politicians in both suggesting a renewed union which was swiftly shot down. The Kingdom of Latvia on the other hand was focused on building their own national identity as there had not been a national Latvian state ever. King Jānis I led a massive rebirth of Latvian culture funding cultural institutions and language schools to educate the entire nation in their past and to reverse the russification attempts of Tsar Nicholas II. Grand Duke Mindaugas II had died in 1929 and his son Grand Duke Traidenis II continued in his footsteps of a Lithuanian Cultural rebirth going so far as to leave the House of Wittelsbach and forming the House of Wilno. The Second Kingdom of Poland was involved in a massive cultural renewal and with the election of John XXIII the Catholic Church fell behind the cultural rebuilding of Poland. King Stanisław III led an en-masse rebuilding of Polish identity using his cultural influence to support the restoration of the Polish identity now that they were freed from the Russian domination prior to their independence.

The German Empire had been steadily liberalizing since the Goa'uld War and the election of 1931 gave up the second SPD government in German history and the first to have a majority purely from the party though only by a single seat. The new government while they focused heavily on establishing social changes and programmes they also tried to change the influence of the monarchy starting with the titles of the Kaiser. The official full title (See note 1) is long and although the title had full, medium, and small variants the SPD wished to reduce the titles and implied power of the Kaiser. When the bill was proposed to the Reichstag it was voted out decisively and it in fact led to the fall of the SPD government and the election of 1933 one of the more influential elections in German history. The election resulted in Gustaf Stresemann returning to lead his second government. The most important seat change however was the fall of three seats in Bavaria had fallen to the rebuilt Christian Social Party which had adopted Christian socialist and pan-German views.
