The Russian Empire under Tsar Michael II had been thriving in every sense of the word their transition to a federal system of government in 1927 had made many of the ethnicities and minorities of the vast empire fell much more represented. Under Prime Minister Roman Gul, the federal states had gone into a period of cultural rebirth much like how the states that had carved themselves free during the Russian Civil War were in the midst of. The most powerful of these was in the state of Georgia. Where it was common to find signs in both Russian and Georgian and across the country new churches and cultural institutes popped up. The largest problem came when the Premier of Georgia Kakutsa Cholokashvili a noted nationalist suggested restoring the Georgian Monarchy under the Tsar. At first it was laughed out of parliament but when Kakutsa Cholokashvili dragged out the Russian Constitution it turned out that his suggestion was technically not illegal. The Tsar held the right to appoint the governors of the states of Russia and Kakutsa Cholokashvili suggested that he could just appoint the Bagrationi dynasty as the governors of Georgia. When Tsar Michael II he supported the idea for whatever reason and contacted Kakutsa Cholokashvili to hammer out the details. The agreement was that Prince Irakli Bagrationi would be appointed as Governor of Georgia and his heir after his death the formal title of the Governor of Georgia within Georgia was formally changed to King of Georgia. Thus, King Irakli I ascended on the 1st of August 1934 part of the wave of monarchical restorations across the world that France had started.

The election of 1934 was held in the wake of the birth of the French Federation and the alliance with the Tok'ra in early August. The election was the second of the United Empire and the Liberal government under David Lloyd-George looked to continue their governance that had lasted since 1910 and the fall of Balfour's government. The election resulted in the Labour Party gaining ten seats across the Empire with most concentrated in Australia though Oswald Mosely managed to take a seat in the heart of London beginning his long political career. The Liberal Party dropped to 143 seats and the remainder were snapped up by the Conservatives. The Labour Party immediately offered support to the Liberal Party and their coalition government continued despite the grumbles of the conservative voters and party however David Lloyd-George had lost his seat to the conservative party. With the loss of their Prime Minister the Liberal Party withdrew to decide who to choose as the new Prime Minister. After several days of debate Winston Churchill moved to Buckingham Palace to request the right to govern from King-Emperor George V. The Prime Ministership of Winston Churchill had begun it would last nearly as long as his predecessors.

The alliance with the Tok'ra proved useful of the bat as Jolinar was able to give the allies the location of several vital worlds to the Goa'uld and the allies did what we still do best we destroyed the Goa'uld. Every world was visited with blazing fire and plasma destroying the already terrible Goa'uld logistics which only made the War of Ra's Succession bloodier for the Goa'uld as those few worlds became even more important to all sides of the war. The joint attacks of Sokar, the allies, and the other two Goa'uld warlords made the lives of the three claimants to the title of Supreme System Lord terrible as every major logistic point and several major mustering worlds were destroyed much like Cromwell. The allies stole any and everything important and what they could not steal they destroyed. As the allies ran across the galaxy stealing Goa'uld technology and resources the pressing issue of actually allowing the non-British soldiers to use plasma weapons grew more and more. The allies had found massive amounts of Naquadah and the photos of the British Military Police confiscating the Naquadah that the allies dragged back through the Stargate proved unpopular, in the press everywhere, save for the United Empire. The first to broach the topic was the Kingdom of Belgium and the offer was immediately turned down and the Belgian diplomats were shown the door the tensions were forced down again despite the grumblings of some of the more nationalistic members of society.

The Battle of New Kaunas was the first world where the eventual 'alliance' between the allis and Lord Yu was vaguely born. The world was under the control of Lord Yu at the beginning of the battle albeit it was on the front line against Sokar. The allied force that found the world was LIET-2 just as Sokar launched his attack against the world. As the Jaffa of Lord Yu withdrew to the Stargate the Lithuanian troops ran into the Jaffa vanguard and managed to negotiate a ceasefire by shooting down an Unas patrol. LIET-2 withdrew to Stargate to call up reinforcements to protect the people of the planet from the ravages of Sokar. As the Black Watch and the other regiments that the allies held in reserve for any major battle against the Goa'uld or Sokar moved through the gate and established a perimeter alongside the Jaffa of Lord Yu. As the allies dug in they sent out scouts and cavalry forces out to the surrounding settlements to warn the people about Sokar's invasion and drag them off to the allied perimeter to protect against the Unas that were currently running across the planet. As the citizens of the nearby towns evacuated the allies set traps and at least three snipers in the highest buildings of the towns armed with a Naquadah grenade in case things went south. When the Unas attacked the evacuated towns, they had devolved into blood mad beasts that tore apart anything that they could find with their overseers trying to control their charges despite the madness of the Unas. The traps that the allies had set slaughtered the Unas and the snipers targeted the Jaffa overseers intentionally to make the Unas even less controllable. As the Unas charged the allied lines their lack of control which against the Jaffa proved enough to rout the Jaffa with low casualties compared to the trenches and machine guns of humanity which slaughtered the Unas in the midst of their charges. Alongside the shots of the Jaffa the lines of the Unas were thinned not they cared their brains had long gone and they only thought in their brain was blood. No matter how much you desire blood four bolts of plasma to the head is usually fatal. For four hours the Unas charged against the allied lines and they were hacked down for that entire time. The ships that had transported the Unas to the planet had not been heavily armed and Lord Yu had managed to secure orbital supremacy allowing him to blast the Unas to hell and back while the allies plastered those in the front with plasma and bullets. As the last of the Unas were wiped out the allies made an agreement with the Jaffa commander to allow them to withdraw.
