Mii Brawler's Roller Coaster Ride
It's a beautiful morning at the Smash World amusement park where Reginald the Mii Brawler is enjoying his time when suddenly, he saw the best ride in the park. Reginald looked at how fast the ride moves and said, "Wow! That must be the Smash Run, the tallest roller coaster in the park and it just opened today. Well then, let's go play some games first and later on, it's coaster time. To the Game Booth."
With that, Reginald ran off to play some games.
When he got there, he saw Terry running the basketball game. Terry smiled at him and said, "Hey there, Reginald. Welcome to Terry's Free Throw Challenge. Do you want to shoot some hoops? Only three coins to play."
"You bet," Reginald replied as he paid the coins to him.
"Great. The rules are simple. Just shoot a basket from the free throw line to win a prize. You'll only get three tries and each attempt will take ten seconds. Are you up for it?"
"Of course I can do that. It is just like the Home-Run Contest but with basketballs instead of Sandbag. Let's play!"
"All right, then," Terry said as he took out three basketballs, "This is your first shot of three. Ready?"
"All set, Terry," Reginald replied.
"Okay! Here you go!"
With that, Terry passed the ball to me and I took the first shot right before the countdown started, which gives me a basket.
"Score!" Terry announced with a smile, "Great shot, Reginald. You made a basket and that means, you won a small prize. Now then, do you want to shoot again for a medium prize?"
"Yeah," Reginald replied with a thumb up.
"All right, then! Here's your second shot!"
And with that, I shot the ball and it went in again for my second basket.
Terry looked at it and said, "You scored again, Reginald. That means you've won the medium prize and now, you have a chance to go for the big prize if you can make one more basket. Do you want to shoot one last time?"
"Of course I'm going for the big prize, Terry," Reginald replied with a smile, "Let's do it!"
"Okay! Remember, you only have ten seconds. Good luck, buddy!"
With that, Terry passed the ball to me and then, the timer started.
I bounced the ball many times as I await my third shot and while I was doing that, Terry saw the timer as he counts down to the buzzer.
"Five, four..."
I held the ball steady, took aim at the basket and then...
"Three, two, one..."
The moment came.
WHOOSH!
BUZZ!
I released the ball just before the buzzer went off to make my third shot. Terry saw it all and said, "Right on time! It will be a buzzer-beater!"
After a few seconds of shooting, the ball made it in the basket for the third time.
Terry jumped for joy as he saw my winning shot. Then he came to me and said, "You have won the game, Reginald! That basket will count because you released the ball just before the buzzer and for that, you have won a huge prize. Now then, take your pick."
Reginald looked at the prizes and said, "I'll have the Smash Ball plushie, please."
"Okay! One Smash Ball plushie, coming up."
With that, Terry gave the plushie to me and said, "Here you go, champ! Enjoy!"
"Thanks, Terry," Reginald said with a smile as he left the game.
I looked at the plushie and said, "Wow. This is a great plushie and I can use that as my training dummy for my training. Now let's go get some lunch and remember, I can't eat and ride at the same time. To the Food Court."
And so, I ran to the food court for some lunch.
When I got there, I saw Ryu running the burger stand. Ryu saw me and said, "Hey there, Reginald. What brings you here?"
"I'm here to have some lunch before I can take a ride on the Smash Run coaster," Reginald replied, "So let me have a Mii Fighter Cheeseburger and some Smash soda!"
"You got it! Now which style do you want on your burger?"
"Brawler! Just like me."
"Okay! One Mii Brawler Cheeseburger and Smash Soda, coming up!"
With that, Ryu ran to the kitchen and prepared some lunch.
After a few minutes, Reginald's lunch is ready. Ryu came to me with some food on the tray and said, "Here it is, Reginald. Your Mii Brawler Cheeseburger meal is served. That will be 20 coins."
"Thanks Ryu," I replied with a smile as I paid my coins to him.
Then I placed the food on the table, took out the wrapped bundle and said, "Okay! The burger is all wrapped up in this bundle and now, let's see what's inside!"
So I opened up the wrapper and inside is the Mii Brawler Cheeseburger. This burger has lettuce, tomatoes. cheese, and a burger patty all stacked up between two buns. But the best part about it is having ketchup in the shape of Mii Brawler's fist on the burger.
I picked up the burger, raised it up to my mouth and then...
CHOMP!
I took my first bite right away as I savored this moment.
"Oh my goodness," I said with my mouth full, "This burger is amazing and I love it! Well, let's do it again."
And with that, I kept on going with my burger as I enjoy my lunch.
When I was done with my burger and drink, I said, "That was an amazing burger and after all, I am the Mii Brawler. Okay then, the time has come at last. It is time for me to ride the best roller coaster of this park, the Smash Run! So without further ado... LET'S RIDE!"
So I ran as fast as I could to the Smash Run for my first official ride.
When I got there, I saw the coaster's layout and waiting for me is the big 300 foot drop. I looked at the coaster's entrance and said, "There it is! The Smash Run. A huge roller coaster with a big 300 foot drop. I've been waiting all day for this moment and now, it is finally here. Well, let's go for a ride! To the coaster."
So ran inside with a huge smile and then, I came to the coaster itself. This coaster has a red and black paint job with the series logo on the front. The train can carry forty riders in twenty rows of two. I looked at the ride's layout and said, "Well, here it is. The Smash Run coaster. Now all I need is a ride operator and I'm all set."
Just then, a male person walked in and said, "Did somebody call for a ride operator?"
I heard that voice and said, "Wow! It's Xander Mobus, the announcer of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate!"
Xander came to me and said with a smile, "Hey there, Reginald! What brings you here?"
"I'm here to ride," I replied with a smile as I hugged him.
"Well, you came to the right place because today is the big day. You are now the very first person who is going to ride the Smash Run!"
"Really?"
"That's right, Reginald. The very first ride is all yours so, are you ready to ride?"
I looked at the coaster and said with a smile, "I'm ready!"
"Okay! Just pick a seat and we'll be ready to start. Go on, Reginald."
So I entered the front seat of the coaster and lowered my lap bar before buckling up my seatbelt. The Smash Run is ready to ride.
Xander Mobus came to the control panel and said, "Attention all riders. In just a few seconds, you'll take a ride on the Smash Run and remember to keep your hands inside the car at all times. Got it?"
"I got it, Xander," Reginald replied with a thumbs up.
"All right, then! Now before we begin, I just want say that I'm so happy to have you on this coaster and I hope you'll enjoy the ride."
"Thanks, Xander."
"You're very welcome. Well Reginald, this is it! The moment has finally arrived. Are you ready for your very first official ride?"
I looked at him and with a thumbs up, I said, "As I'll ever be! Xander... PUSH THE BUTTON!"
Xander agreed with him as he walked on over to the green button to start the ride. Then he said, "Okay! Now just like in a Super Smash Bros. match, I'll start the ride on the count of three. So without further ado, here we go! Three..."
I held on to the bar.
"Two..."
I looked at the ride's layout ahead of me.
"One..."
It all comes down to this, Reginald's ride on the Smash Run is about to begin. Xander looked at the button, took a deep breath and then...
It is time.
"GO!"
PUSH!
With the word shouted, Xander pressed the button and then, the Smash Run begins to move out of the station. At last, the ride has begun.
As the coaster came to the lift hill, it started to move up slowly as I hear the chains clicking in place. I smiled to myself and said, "Well, here I am at the Smash Run. This is going to be an amazing ride and I can't wait to see how fast the ride moves. Okay then, let's do this!"
So I held on tight as the coaster continues to move up the hill. Just 100 feet until the top. 75 feet, 50 feet, 25 feet.
After climbing up 300 feet, the Smash Run has officially reached the top of the hill. Now comes the most important part of every roller coaster, the plunge. I raised my hands up, waited for the right moment and then...
The moment came.
WHOOSH!
The coaster took its 300-foot plunge as I screamed in delight. This is going to be an amazing ride for the Mii Brawler as the Smash Run travels across the track.
