The destruction of Oahu by the Pacific Ha'tak was followed by a brief respite as the Goa'uld advanced towards the American west coast with most of their strikes being against ships that they found heading towards Hawaii. The largest loss was the destruction of the American warship USS North Carolina by Death Gliders and Al'kesh before the battleship managed to send out a message to the West Coast. Within an hour of the destruction of Peral Harbour the Ha'tak was within sight of San Francisco just as a small naval patrol entered the city led by the Dreadnought USS George Washington. One of the watchmen aboard the ship noticed the Ha'tak as it was heading towards the city and informed the Capitan. It managed to get one salvo off before it was destroyed the destruction of the George Washington informed the people of San Francisco that the Ha'tak was there just before the city was atomized. The Ha'tak commander decided to throw subtly out of the window and ordered that the Ha'tak would rampage across the Continental United States destroying every settlement that they came across and they most defiantly did. Sacramento was razed to the ground with Governor Frank Merriam being killed during the catastrophic evacuation attempt and the Ha'tak continued on their course towards Detroit.

The destruction of the Belgian authority in the Congo was the beginning of the African Ha'tak's rampage across the continent as they continued north entire squadrons were annihilated in battle by waves of Death Gliders and Al'kesh which only the Imperial Air Force could hold off. While the Ha'tak's air wings were unable to break into Nigeria and the Gold Coast the Ha'tak itself was more then able to. The cities of Abuja, Lagos, and Accra were all reduced to blazing ruins by the Ha'tak as it continued on its vague course north towards the Mediterranean. Three hours after it had arrived on Earth it entered the borders of the French Colony of Algeria. As it flew north a patrol spotted it and managed to get the word back to Paris the Marine Nationale in Marseilles was immediately ordered out of port while diplomatic overtures to Italy ensured that the Regina Marina left there port in the Balearics to aid the French in the nearing battle of Corsica. While the allied navies sailed off to met at Corsica the Ha'tak made detours destroying every settlement above a thousand in Algeria and occasionally going over the border into Libya and Tunisia. When the Ha'tak first saw the coast, they were heading north from Ghadames and saw the Libyan detachment of the Regia Marina leaving Tripoli. The Ha'tak immediately let out the few Death gliders they had left while the Ha'tak itself dealt with the city. While the Death Gliders took heavy losses, the fleet was sunk just as Tripoli itself was reduced to atoms and the Ha'tak began their advance towards Algiers. The leadership of Tunisia was evacuated from Tunis before the Ha'tak reached the city, but the destruction of the city still killed the vast majority of the population. The last city that the Ha'tak would destroy was Algiers and then it turned north towards Corsica and destiny.

The North Atlantic Ha'tak would be the only Ha'tak to not claim the corpse of a city during their rampage being stopped at the Battle of the Celtic Sea. They had been the first seen by humanity so the Imperial Navy, Hochseeflotte, and Marine Nationale had enough time to leave their moorings and set sail to the Celtic Sea though some got there later than others. Led by the HIMS Hood under the command of Andrew Cunningham the allied fleets gathered off Cornwall in preparation. The Imperial Air Force had used their Death Gliders to delay the Ha'tak and a large portion of the Ha'tak's air wing was at the bottom of the Atlantic allowing the Imperial Air Force to attack their engines slowing down the warship a bit and weakening the already low powered shields of the warship. When the Ha'tak entered the Celtic Sea at 8PM local time the shields were at low power but still more then strong enough to shrug off shells. The first ship to see the Ha'tak was the destroyer HIMS Durban which alerted the fleet of their position as they opened fire. While the weapons of HIMS Durban were not strong enough to pierce the shields, the plasma was bright enough for the rest of the fleet to close in on the position adding the weight of their fire to the battle. The Ha'tak fired back and the battle began. The Ha'tak itself had been in several battles before being detached to Earth and had barely any repair or maintenance which contributed to its slow speed. The warship still had power and it took the full force of the Imperial Navy to take it down, but Britannia always had and always will rule the waves and the Ha'tak may have been flying but it was flying above the waves.

Tolkien and Sigurður Steelfangs would arrive at the Asgard homeworld after an hour worth of delays due to the launching of Operation Conquest just in time to learn that the Replicators had launched a major attack tying up all of the Asgard reserves for a few hours so they sat and waited. This is generally seen as when Tolkien and Sigurður Steelfangs began to learn Asgard. When the majority of the attack was beaten back and the Asgard had ships to spare fours hours had passed and the Battle of the Celtic Sea was winding down and the Defence of Marseilles was just about to begin. The Asgard detached a single Mothership under the command of Thor to deal with the problem. Thus, Tolkien and Sigurður Steelfangs were bundled up into the Biliskner with Thor and sped off to Earth.
