The destruction of the Steel Belt by the American Ha'tak had sent the American economy into absolute freefall the second last action of President Charles Curtis had been to order the permanent closure of the New York Stock Exchange. His Vice President Herbert Hoover rescinded the order and the Stocks of the companies that made up the American industrial heartland collapsed dragging down the American economy along with them. The American dollar became near worthless and Herbert Hoover's pro-capitalist and corporate views led to him refusing to sign the Republican-Progressive bills that supported government intervention into the economy. This refusal enraged Franklin Delano Roosevelt the senator for the Democratic-Conservative Party from New York and he gave a scathing speech in Congress before formally joining the Republican-Progressive Party. Franklin Delano Roosevelt leaving the Democratic-Conservative Party was a massive boon for the Republican-Progressive Party and he immediately announced his candidacy for President which was endorsed by several high-ranking members of the Party. His supported what he called the New Deal which was the complete rebuilding of the devasted regions of America and sending more American troops to fight the Goa'uld. When the polls came out asking who the people of American would support for President only 23% of the population supported Herbert Hoover. To counter this Herbert Hoover ordered a squadron of the United States Navy to check up on Hawaii and began to tour across the nation. As he toured through the ruins of Detroit he made several gaffes such as proclaiming how the 'invisible hand of the market would fix everything'. When the major companies that had once developed Detroit and the Steel Belt backed out and begged the government for handouts. The disparity between his speeches about how impressive the power of companies were and the squalor that the refuges were forced to live in led to massive political radicalization.

The last shred of faith that the American people had in their government ended when the American attempt to retake Hawaii failed dramatically. When the squadron had been dispatched the economy was just beginning its collapse by the time that they reached Hawaii the American dollar had collapsed to the point that the American government did not have enough money to pay the sailors. When the sailors heard this in Peral Harbour they mutinied against their captains just as the Imperial Air Force arrived with the new ambassador to the Second Kingdom of Hawaii. When the American people heard this and saw their government forced to recognize Hawaii again any faith they had left in the government collapsed and the noticeable Anglophobia among some of the more patriotic politicians was born. When the London Conference was called the American people demanded reparations.

All of the Ha'taks had dispatched several Al'kesh to scout out Earth before they were destroyed while most were shot down by the local Air Forces several managed to escape. In Africa, an Al'kesh crashed near Cairo where stumbled into an archaeological dig just as Osiris and Isis were unearthed. The Jaffa slaughtered the archaeologists and freed the Goa'uld from their bonds which began their rampage into the stars.

In America, an Al'kesh had been shot down in the Deep South where it would crash in the wilds of Northern Georgia. The Jaffa would stumble into the camp of a small group of Black Nationalists that had been contacted by Hathor during the Mexican War but never gotten the order to rise up. The Black Nationalists slaughtered the Jaffa and stole their Staff Weapons and began to plan for an attack to finally free their brothers from bondage,

The London Conference was called by the United Empire of Britannia to decide on the exact course of humanity after the Battle of Earth. The immediate proposal suggested by Winston Churchill himself was that the United Empire would share the technology used to create plasma weapons among the allied nations. The motion was endorsed, and the British were forced to build anti-Ha'tak weapons across the world in order to fully protect everywhere. The second motion was to immediately stop fighting the Goa'uld and withdraw to the worlds already controlled by humanity. Proposed by the United States and supported by Belgium the motion was highly controversial since it seemed to many that it allowed the Goa'uld to continue on with their barbaric actions. After three days of debate the motion was defeated when the German Empire and the French Federation voted against the suggestion. However, reforms were implemented in the way that Imperial Stargate Command and their allies waged war against the Goa'uld. Four worlds that had a Stargate but the population if any had been killed off long ago allowing the allies to use them as decoys for where the worlds actually under the control of mankind where. The last action of the London conference was recognizing the Second Kingdom of Hawaii as an independent state under King Kalākaua II. On the 15th of February 1936, the London Conference ended.

The North Atlantic Ha'tak had carried a large number of Jaffa aboard and when it was sunk around five hundred Jaffa were captured by the British and dragged of to Fort Marlborough. The captured Jaffa were divided between two groups the radicals led by a young Jaffa Teal'c who had been radicalized into believing that the Goa'uld were false gods and the Loyalists who believed that the Goa'uld were gods. The British guards would pick up on the division and called in Bra'tac and Amaterasu after several weeks of planning the radicals were removed from the prison they were held in and taken to a training fields on the edge of the continent. On the 11th of March, the Free Jaffa Army was declared consisting of two hundred Jaffa under the command of Teal'c and Bra'tac.

The 'Alpha sites' that the London Conference had established alongside several other restrictions on how they could fight against the Goa'uld proved controversial within Imperial Stargate Command with Oswald Mosely giving a speech in parliament about how the restrictions stopped Imperial Stargate Command from doing their jobs. Imperial Stargate Command on the other hand decided to launch a massive counter-attack against Cronus. After several weeks of scouting the allies found three worlds that that Cronus depended upon to wage his crumbling war. The plans were laid, and it was planned to be the first allied offensive using solely plasma. The attack was planned to be launched on the 20th of March which allowed them to use the Free Jaffa Army as auxiliaries in the battles.

The three worlds that the allies had chosen to attack were the industrial world of Nova Liverpool, and the Agricultural worlds of Great Alexandria and Dnieper. The allied forces gathered at the Alpha Sites with massive reserves all preparing for vengeance. On the 20th of March, the allies launched Operation Sherman named after General William Sherman from the American Civil War. The operation was designed to establish a small foothold for the Free Jaffa Army to recruit from.

The assaults began with artillery tearing through the Stargates followed by Wulfen shock teams throwing the Jaffa defenders back from the gates allowing the reinforcements to flow in. The Jaffa launched several failed counter attacks on every planet though Nova Liverpool was the closet to throwing the allies off. The heavy casualties that the Jaffa took at Nova Liverpool allowed the Landcrawlers that the United Empire had dragged through the gate to tear through their lines capturing the core of the planet's administration. Nova Liverpool would continue to fight for several weeks before the last Jaffa surrendered to the Free Jaffa Army by that time the other two worlds had fallen to the allies. With the fall of Nova Liverpool, the final part of Operation Sherman commenced. Teal'c and Bra'tac declared the formation of the Free Jaffa Kingdom in personal union with Emperor George V. The first of the Goa'uld successor states had been born and the most loyal.
