The New Deal was Franklin Roosevelt's plan to rebuild the American economy from the ground up and the Business Coup made his position stronger. All of the companies that had contributed to the coup were nationalized alongside the national health care which both Huey Long and Jack Reed supported. The Government immediately began to fund the rebuilding of the devasted states with plans to completely rebuild the cities for the modern age and massive bunkers to protect the people of the rebuilt cities. He also commenced several major infrastructure projects besides the reconstruction of the destroyed cities such as the Interstate highway project that connected every state together with modern transportation methods. The largest problem however was the military since the majority had not actually known about the Business Coup and MacArthur had straight up lied to his men on what they were doing. The eventual decision was to ban the United States Military from entering the District of Columbia and a new force was formed to protect the Capital.
The United States also increased their level of participation and support in the Goa'uld War by tripling the number of American Interstellar Exploratory Teams from ten to thirty. The American held world of Lincoln was fortified to the brim and then some more in an attempt to increase the American interstellar presence and thus support. However, this is when the first major rift appeared Rossvelet and Jack Reed were both major Anglophiles while Huey Long was an Anglophobe. The National Union Party supported retaking Hawaii and removing British interests in America while the American Worker's Party supported working with the United Empire against the Goa'uld to liberate the people of the Galaxy. In an attempt to keep his Grand Coalition from crumbling Roosevelt launched his most ambitious project yet the full industrialization of the Deep South. Soon across the lands of the former Confederate States of America factories appeared funnelling steel and concrete north to the recovering states and to fortify Lincoln. As the economy grew and grew once again dragging the United States of America out depression the problem of what to do with the states under Military government became the largest issue.
The states of California, Nevada, Utah, Iowa, and Michigan had all been placed under military governments by Charles Curtis before he committed suicide and until 1938 they were not an issue but after two years of military control the people of those states desired freedom again. The majority of states were in a good enough position to be granted home rule again and by the mid terms every state except Utah had returned to civilian government. Utah had been brutally devasted and many members of the Mormon Church believed that the Battle of Earth were the End Times and refused to cooperate with government aid programmes. In some cases, the more radical members fired on the American troops Hoover's mismanagement of the situation only made it worse and by 1938 the entire state was on a knifes edge. When the Military Governments of the other states were removed the state rose up in anger massive protests blocked the streets of the slowly rebuilding Salt Lake City. The American Military cracked down hard on the protests imposing a curfew and martial law which allowed the radicalized Mormons to spread their views. The more militant members of the Mormon Church led the second wave of protests. Roosevelt was forced to bend to the demands of Utah just after his decisive victory in the midterms and the military government withdrew from Salt Lake City.

The Kingdom of Italy had entered an economic renaissance following the commencement of the Qattara project and the foundation of the Royal Construction Authority an organization devoted to the development of the Italian colonies and mainland. Following the Battle of Earth and the devastation of Libya the ability for Italy to truly claim their Fourth Shore. Tripoli was rebuilt from the ground up into the style of a true Italian city. With the visit of Crown Prince Umberto II in 1938 with King Ajkuna II of Albania to crowds cheering in Italian the Italian control over their Fourth Shore was enforced permanently. The head of the Royal Construction Authority Gian Galeazzo Ciano had already been granted several titles in Egypt, but he was granted the nominal title of Duke of Surt and a much larger salary.

With the creation of the Free Jaffa Kingdom the ally's policy on conquered worlds became pressing so far they had given the worlds out based on the general cultural heritage of the native people but now with a Jaffa puppet state the allies had to think about who got the worlds. The general policy was that if there was a large Jaffa population or the natives were not part of an ethnic group that was fighting in the Goa'uld war the Free Jaffa Kingdom would get them.
With the increased participation from every nation effected by the Battle of Earth the force that the allies were able to unleash on their enemies was massively increased. The Wulfen Shock Teams were able to call in more power during their opening attacks against the Goa'uld. The first Wulfen IIET was formed in late 1938 and IIWET-1 (Imperial Interstellar Wulfen Exploratory Team) soon became one of the most decorated IIET's in history. Under the command of Capitan Haakon Olavson they ran rampart often along IIET-1 and Tolkien developed a strong working relationship with him much like the one he had with Bra'tac and Sigurður Steelfangs.

The Qattara Project had been on the verge of completion just before the Battle of Earth and the destruction of Libya and Algeria led to the Egyptian Government taking in thousands of refuges in return for labouring on the Project and settling around the sea. The vast majority were more then willing to accept that deal and got to work on the last canal of the Qattara project. With the additional workforce and increased ability to use Naquadah the construction time increased massively and by December 1936 the canal was near completion. On the 1st of January 1937, the last canal of the Qattara project opened by King Farouk I himself and waters of the Mediterranean filled the Qattara Depression the Qattara Sea had been born Egypt's greatest jewel.
