The rights of the Aboriginal people of Australia had long been trampled upon and the natives of Tasmania had been one of the only groups to be near completely wiped out in human history. During the Goa'uld war they had some of the largest ethnic participation in the entire war. Yet they were still not even legally human during the 1930's despite the work they did in the British army. They fully began their road to rights in the aftermath of the Battle of Earth. For as Project Orion was being built in the heart of the Australian Outback the local people were conscripted into the building force and due to the strong British history of worker unions they choose to form the first Aboriginal union. Then their white comrades launched a strike against the unfair working practises and the Aboriginal workers joined the strike. The workers actually managed to get along during their strike and the racism and prejudice held by the white workers was eroded by their Aboriginal comrades. One of the men most affected by the strike was a young Imperial MP called John Curtin who was spending time with the Australian unions during the break of Imperial Parliament. His writings from the time show that this is when he lost his racist views on the Aboriginal people. When the controllers of Project Orion bowed to the demands of the workers despite the protests of the Australian government the Aboriginal people had started on the long road to equality that would take until Vincent Lingiari to end.

The Mid-terms of 1938 had given decisive control of Congress to Roosevelt and Republican-Progressive Party, but they were not the only party to gain seats. The American Worker's Party won around thirty seats from the northern industrially developed states. The National Union Party won seats across the South with the entirety of the seats in Louisiana falling to the National Union Party and Huey Long strode into the House of Representatives alongside Jack Reed and their already tense relationship grew tenser. It soon became an American staple to listen to the debates between the two in Congress and their roaring passionate speeches soon became a decisive symbol of the two parties.

The exact stance of the American Worker's Party has not changed over the years compared to their fellow parties in the United States. The majority of the party advocates for Democratic Socialism though several large cliques include the Syndicalists, Anarcho-Communists, and Market Socialists. The compared to the Red Wolves of the American Worker's Party the Golden Lions of the National Union Party have changed their ideology over the years. The initial party had been focused around Huey Long and his Share Our Wealth Program used to rebuild Louisiana, but his coalition had been a mix between Social Democrats and reactionaries. As time progressed the divisions in the party grew more prominent and Huey Long was forced to act. Launching what his detractors have called a purge of the party he pushed out many of the more social progressives and established what most political scientists have termed Longism socially conservative social democracy. This was also the birth of one of Huey Long's most well-known campaigning mottos that being 'Every man a King' which is why he choose the Lion as the main symbol of the National Union Party. The great divide of American politics was fully formed in the mid-terms of 1938 and have influenced our history since then decisively.

The end of the Republican government in 1925 had led to the lands of southern China collapsing into absolute anarchy on a scale never before seen. The Qing government in the north managed to reconquer all land north of the Yangtze river without facing any major opposition save for the Shanghai clique. South of the Yangtze however there was no order in any sense. Hainan was under the control of a Japanese backed puppet government which was while officially loyal to the Qing was in reality a state meant to allow the Hlai people some vague freedoms and independence. Just across the strait from them was the Anarchist state of Leizhou. The majority of southern China was similar to the Spanish Republican at the end of the Spanish Collapse with villages and towns all hosting strange independent governments. The three largest states were the Free Canton Republic having managed to secure Canton and the area around the city it had successfully developed a strong local identity, the Second Republic of China was based out of Kunming and stretched to the French held Indochina and the British Dominion of Burma, and the People's State of China form their capital of Fuzhou dominated the east coast of China. To most of the world they were warlords that the rightful Qing government would crush once they finished their reforms which to be fair did happen but many of the warlords left a deep scar on China.

To touch on the warlords of southern China and not talk about the Qing reforms would be deeply remiss of me so allow me to rectify that error. The British, Japanese, and Russians all imposed democracy and other western values on Mongolia and the Qing in return for industrial support to build up Manchuria and Mongolia. While Mongolia accepted the offer without fuss some of the more nationalist officers in the Qing army attempted to kill the British ambassador. They were promptly massacred by his guards who then proceeded to back the reformists into power in the Qing government. With the reformists in power every aspect of Qing governance was thrown upside down with the formation of a democratically elected parliament and immediate military reform. The training of the Qing army was conducted by the British, Imperial Japanese, and Imperial Russian armies to make them a fighting force greater than any other in China.

The Battle of Earth had eaten up Cronus's reserves allowing his enemies to launch attacks on undefended parts of the front which led to breakthrough after breakthrough until it seemed that he was on the verge of collapse. Then an offer reached him in return for granting him status as a System Lord the newly freed Osiris would aid Cronus in the war. With no better option Cronus accepted the offer and Osiris and Isis returned to the Goa'uld. They managed to defeat several offensives and even recaptured several planets leading to Cronus even more trust in them due to their records of victory after victory. Of course, he would have a Jaffa detachment at their headquarters to kill them if they revolted but it was a small one that is how much Cronus trusted the two.
