The Free Jaffa Kingdom was an interesting beast in its early years founded as a British puppet state but with the collapse of Heru'ur and the defections to the Kingdom from radicalized Jaffa the many issues of the state came to the fore. The Jaffa were slowly managing to be more and more self-sufficient and the British were not exactly sure how to deal with that. Then came the reform of the Free Jaffa Army that being dissolving it and replacing it with the Emperor's Jaffa Legion two thousand Jaffa all swearing direct allegiance to Emperor George VI. They were promptly assigned to garrison the main worlds of the Free Jaffa Kingdom. The move was controversial due to the implication that the servants of Emperor George VI were not free which was promptly fixed by adding free to the title of the Emperor's Free Jaffa Legion which it has maintained to the present day. The Legion swiftly became one of the more active members of the allies against the Goa'uld as they fought to liberate their brothers from the chains that the Goa'uld had placed upon them. They also became one of the main focus of the ally's propaganda as the images of the Jaffa revolution against the Goa'uld under the Union Jack.

The American control of the Philippines had been fully entrenched in 1913 but since then it had been a problem. During the Mexican war they had agreed to aid the Americans in return for independence by 1945. The Battle of Earth and the destruction of many American cities alongside the independence of the Second Kingdom of Hawaii meant that American influence in the Pacific was weakened and Roosevelt decided to speed up the independence of the islands. The American garrisons were slowly evacuated and replaced with native Filipino troops while the civilian administrators ceded power to their Filipino workers as the withdrawal continued. In late 1942 the Americans called a Constitutional Convention where the vast majority of the constitution for the new United States of Philippines was lifted straight from the American constitution. The new Republic was formally declared on the 1st of January 1943 under President Manuel L. Quezon as the last American warship left Manila bay and the Death Gliders of the United States Air Force flew past as the flag of the Philippines was raised for the first time.

The capture of Kunming and the later conquest of Yunnan by the Greater Chinese State led to the United Republican Front deciding to launch as many counter attacks as possible to retake land. These attacks were successful they managed to retake several major cities going so far as to take Guiyang the last city captured by the Greater Chinese State during their initial expansion. When the Republicans captured the city, they found it filled with corpses as the Greater Chinese State purged all of their slaves in the city to stop the factories that they used to produce the guns and artillery they threw at the Republicans. The Republicans seized on the propaganda opportunity and the single survivor that they found was toured around the world telling her stories of rape and slavery. The fall of Guiyang is the beginning of the final fall of the Greater Chinese State as the next day across the border Qing Death Glider's and Landcrawlers attacked across the border into the heart of the Greater Chinese State. The defenders were slaughtered and many of the Republicans that ran into them were slaughtered by the plasma and artillery as the Qing pushed towards the capital of the Greater Chinese State killing every Blueshirt that they found. After several weeks of hard fighting the Qing forces reached the city of Hengyang where the last of the Blueshirts had gathered around their leader. The last stand of the Greater Chinese State was anticlimactic as the Qing encircled the city while the remainder of the Blueshirts were hunted down and killed by both the Qing and the Republicans.

The siege of Hengyang was quick the Qing had purchased a small satellite and launched it in late 1942 with the encirclement of Hengyang they found their planned use for it. The crew had been given two long pieces of metal and a cannon then told how to aim them. So, they placed the metal pieces in the cannon aimed for Hengyang and opened fire. It hit the city at several thousand kilometres per hour and the city itself was annihilated. Xiao Zanyu was killed instantly, and his corpse has never been found but the majority of the Blueshirts leadership had escaped so the Republicans and Qing began to hunt them down. The majority were found quickly as they led brutal last stands after which they were dragged to prison and two-day trials. All of them were hanged or shot none were found innocent of anything and that is great.

With the end of the trials the Republicans and the Qing were forced to decide upon their future either wage war which the Qing would win so they tried to negotiate. The Qing proposed the government form used in the Federation of Judea and the French Federation but then the problem of which Republican clique to form the Republican leadership appeared. The largest Republican powerbroker was the Kunming government but there were two other Republican forces and the Communists as well of which were problematic. Then all of a sudden all of the major Republican politicians that opposed the compromise all suddenly stabbed themselves to death while shaving and all of the major Communist leaders were found in back alleys with knifes in their back. The Republicans agreed to the compromise and the Chinese Federation was formed and peace for all time rained upon earth.

The launching of HIS Orion was a grand affair launched a month after the death of Emperor George V and it was the first major public event attended by George VI. George VI himself actually commanded the launching of the ship as it left Earth and entered Earth's orbit mankind entered a new stage in our history and if the Goa'uld knew they would have trembled.
