By 1943 the French Federation had proven itself to their people completely despite the rise of the House of Orléans- Hohenzollern to the royal throne and the government turned to expanding France itself both on Earth and abroad. They started with colonial reform establishing three major confederations across Africa those being the West African Federation which consisted of all of the French holdings west of Lake Chad, the Central African Federation which consisted of the remaining French holdings east of Lake Chad but west of the British holdings in Sudan and the German Ostafrika, and the East African Federation which was Djibouti and Madagascar. The only African colony left out of this grand restructuring was Algeria and that was because it had been formally annexed by the French Federation and had all the same rights that Paris or Marseilles did. The main reason that Algeria was formally annexed was because the Battle of Earth had killed most of the Arab population allowing the French to repopulate the north with French settlers which needless to say is horrifying. With the annexation of Algeria many of the other European colonial powers turned to securing their African territories with Germany out right annexing coastal Südwestafrika after several decades of colonising while the United Empire formally made all of their colony's Imperial territories in 1943.

The Kingdom of Albania had secured impendence from the Ottoman Empire during their collapse during the Balkan War and promptly had a monarchy enforced on them by the Kingdom of Italy under the Duke of Aosta who was crowned as King Ajkuna I of Albania. His death in 1934 led to the ascension of his son as King Ajkuna II of Albania despite the grumblings of some of the more nationalistic and republican members of parliament. The Albanian government and people were deeply divided against their King due to his Italian heritage and his less then fluent grasp of the Albanian language despite having lived there for several decades.

The rights of homosexual people across the world following the end of the Mexican war was in a strange limbo as the social belief that they were degenerate monsters was opposed by the reports from Mexico which showed perfectly normal people. The countries of Europe varied in their response in France it had technically been legal since the French Revolution and the French government slowly gave slightly more rights to the homosexual population. The United Empire made it legal to be homosexual but illegal to do it in public which was adopted by many other socially progressive nations and political parties. These actions were controversial since it seemed to the more reactionary members of the population that their governments were allowing degeneracy and even the more progressive members of the conservative parties felt that it was a step to far. Which is partly why the Conservatives managed to win the Imperial election of 1944 and for the first time since 1911 a Conservative Prime Minister sat in ten Downing Street all because of Mexico and their stance towards homosexuality. Anthony Eden immediately began to reverse some of the more controversial acts that the Labour party had forced through in their coalition with the Liberals.

The light of democracy had triumphed across Europe and spread into Asia by the end of the Chinese Civil War from the shores of Kamchatka to the cliffs of Scotland democracy stood tall. However, if you looked to the south of Asia you found that Persia and Afghanistan were still far from democratic and the world would not have that. Luckily in Afghanistan the King Mohammed Zahir Shah was of a reformist bent and was willing to democratize in return for industrial and economic aid which both the Russian Empire and the United Empire were more than willing to do. Persia on the other hand was under Shah Mohammad Hassan Mirza who was not as reformist however his death in 1943 allowed the democratic officers that the world powers had connected to launch a coup enforcing a democratic constitution onto Persia. With the democratization more and more industrial and economic aid flowed into Persia with trade burgeoning across the Persian Gulf as the two major powers of the Islamic world joined the world community. Recent documents have shown that the allied efforts to democratize Persia and Afghanistan were not done for democracies sake but that is ludicrous for example one of the three main points of the Hamburg Charter was a commitment to democracy and freedom for all inhabitants of the galaxy.

The Goa'uld War had dragged in nearly every nation on earth from superpowers such as the German Empire and the United States to micronations like Monaco and everything in between. One of the more impressive efforts is what the Principality of Liechtenstein did on Gross Lichtenstein. The entirety of the Liechtensteiner military was their five-man strong Interstellar Exploratory Team which makes wat they did even more impressive. When they stumbled out of the Stargate they found an uninhabited mountainous paradise which upon requesting orders from Vaduz they formally claimed as the world of Gross Lichtenstein. Their claim was acknowledged by the allies and Lichtenstein ascended to the rank of planet holding nation. When they tried to settle it however they met a problem three hundred people wanted to move to the planet not nearly enough to make it economically self-sufficient, but they continued and found several fertile valleys and Gross Lichtenstein survived.
This is actually a good Segway to talk about the other nations that conquered planets from the Battle of Earth to 1945. The British had conquered Godwin, Darien, and Alpin all of which were used for mining and agricultural purposes though they all had a small settler community. The Germans had secured Neu Sedan and Moltke which were more like Neu Deutschland and used as settler colonies. France had taken St Louise's and Bonaparte which were both exploited heavily to fuel the industry of the French Empire. Danubia had taken the world of Gross Österreich which was primarily settled by the German people of Danubia because Danubia had made an agreement that each ethnic group would get their own world. The Empire of Brazil had the world of Tamandaré which they used as a naval training ground. The reason that the allies conquered so little planets during that particular period of time was because they mostly gave worlds to the Free Jaffa Kingdom so humanity kind of fell behind as the empowered their puppet state.
