The Hellenic Empire in 1944 perfectly represented how Greece changed over the first half of the century. Going from an impoverished nation on the edge of Europe to one of the powers of Europe they had fought against the Goa'uld alongside the United Empire and conquered a world for themselves which they were developing strongly. Palaiologos was the second jewel in the Hellenic crown second only to Constantinople itself and the government invested heavily on their only colony as the natives were invited into Hellenic culture. Under Prime Minister Nikolaos Plastiras the monarchy slowly settled into their constitutional role despite the grumbling of Emperor George I he knew that in order to maintain his title that he would have to acknowledge the power of the Greek Parliament. Across the nation the Monarchy was relatively popular as it seemed that they had granted democracy and freedom to the Greek People despite it only having come from Constantine XII wanting an imperial title.

The Hellenic Empire's economy was tied to the European Union as they were the gateway to Asia and the Middle East which is why the trade across the Bosporus was the main economic force in Constantinople. As the Republic of Turkey sent through the goods of the Kingdom of the Arabs, Persia, and the Assyrian-Kurdish union to the halls of Berlin and Paris. The Hellenic Army and Imperial Hellenic Navy spent most of their time hunting down smugglers due to how prosperous the trade between the Hellenic Empire and the nations of the near east. This crack down on smuggling was often down alongside the Turkish military as the two forces both lost money from the smuggling.

The United States of America had been devasted by the Battle of Earth and it had taken Franklin Delano Roosevelt's New Deal to drag the nation out of poverty the greatest symbol of this was when the state of Jefferson was formally entered into the Union. Consisting of portions of southern Oregon and northern California the state was formally declared in late 1943 and is generally seen as the pinnacle of American rebuilding of the west coast of the United States America. Attended by the President himself the proclamation of the state was seen as the beginning of the American Renaissance as the first American Interstellar Warship was launched the next day the first not involved in Project Orion. The joint triumphs of the American people sent the nation into patriotic fervour as they felt that they were reclaiming their stage as the worlds second power. The diaries of Henry Wallace show that this was his proudest moment as Vice-President followed by the passage of the Unions Acts of 1942 and the Healthcare act of 1937 and for good reason the American people had thrown off their shackles that the Battle of Earth had placed upon them. The United States of America was stronger than it ever was before as the economy grew with leaps and bounds, the American people worked across the nation as they rebuilt their nation. The American Phoenix had arisen above the ashes of the Battle of Earth under the steady hand of Franklin Roosevelt.

The first non-international human interstellar warship was made not by the United Empire, the German Empire, the French Federation, and the Russian Empire but by the United States of America. Built for the single reason to prove that the United States was more powerful then the Goa'uld could ever hope to be. The warship USSS Enterprise was launched from the New York shipyards attended by all major members of the American administration and was heavily armed able to hold out against Ha'taks for upwards of three hours before being destroyed. This actually has become a staple of American Interstellar Warships in that they are often heavily armed designed to soap up damage and then deal as much as possible. Compared to the focus on firepower of the Imperial Navy or the ambushes and mines of the Imperial Japanese Navy the United States Space Force often take the centre of the battle lines to act as targets for whatever enemies to waste their weapons upon.
The next warship completed was the HIMIS Lion which was commissioned the next day at Portsmouth attended by Emperor George VI, First Sea Lord Dudley Pound, Prime Minister Anthony Eden, Opposition Leader Winston Churchill, and many other high-ranking politicians and military personnel. The ship has been described as a flying submarine with naval guns in the hull instead of torpedoes under the command of Admiral Andrew Cunningham the ship was one of the most heavily armed warships of the 1940's despite only being classified as a destroyer now. The ship was equipped with four sets of BL 16-inch Gun Mark IV's alongside the ability to deploy mines in battle. The warships first mission was to establish the first British military base on Mars with the founding of the Noctis Battery in the Noctis Labyrinth. The base has been met with criticism of sending men to die with the problems of the British personal all getting cancer from radiation on the planet I will not touch on my stance on the issue but it was a vital position in the military defence of mankind.

The allies war during the 40's was mostly focused on securing worlds from the ruins of Heru'ur's empire, but they did launch several major offensives most notably Operation Globe which consisted of launching attacks on forces under the control of Anubis around the worlds under the control of Lord Yu. The allies did so to increase the good will between them and Lord Yu due to their aim of establishing an alliance between the two forces. They also offered Lord Yu several vital economic and military trade offers. The Military trade consisted of slightly better Staff Weapons and more powerful Staff Cannons which allowed them to take out the Unas more efficiently. Lord Yu accepted these offers and indirectly sealed his future economic and military dependence upon the allies.
