Iberia during the first half of the twentieth century was to use a term one of my students is fond of using an absolute clusterfuck. Portugal dealt with near constant attempts to depose the monarchy which took until the colonization of Nova Lusitania to begin to settle but even then the Republicans made several major attempts to kill Luis II. However, compared to Spain they were a pinnacle of stability. The Monarchy was nearly overthrown several times before the Spanish Collapse and well there is a reason that it is called the Spanish Collapse. The Portuguese and British managed to establish a relatively peaceful and democratic regime in Galicia which was helped by Manuel I, being willing to let the Parliament do what they wanted Aragon on the other hand was a mess. Established not through a relatively peaceful intervention as was the case in Galicia but through an Anglo-Italian invasion against very militant anarchists. So, the monarchy imposed by them was never really popular and it took until Alberto II for republicanism to be fully pushed to the fringes. What else about Aragon? Ah yes. The early democracy of the kingdom was never particularly free, and to be honest it still is not free in any true way I mean communism is still constitutionally banned. Right Aragon's done now to Spain and the Canaries.

Spain was in absolute ruins after the end of the Spanish collapse under King Xavier I the government was very autocratic while he had been forced to allow the existence of the Cortes Generales but the only people allowed to vote were those who had served the crown loyally so that meant only radical Carlists were allowed to vote. So, the Cortes ended up turning into a rubber stamp that gave Xavier's rule a thin veneer of public support. This would continue until his death in 1977 and King Carlos V's reforms so from the end of the Spanish Collapse to the current constitution of the Royal Workers Federation of Spain in 1980 Spain was in practise an absolute monarchy under King Xavier I. To counter this the Bourbon Kingdom of Spain and then the Kingdom of the Canary Islands was under a military dictatorship using the façade of loyalty to the monarchy to hide from the people. Which is why the leaders of the Argentine military dictatorship fled there after the Argentine revolution and the birth of the Argentine People's Republic. Anyway, King Jaime I had very liberal views and during the early years of his reign slowly built up a support base in the military and among the people for his planned revolution. In this he got support from the United Empire, the German Empire, and Morocco he used that vital support to eliminate some of the more reactionary military officers. The coup would be launched in late 1953. But looks like we do not have enough time for that. Any questions?

The allies had managed to open trade relations with the Nox in 1929 just before the formation of the United Empire and from there they were only really thought about for their amazing farming abilities and their connection to nature which kickstarted the rebirth of Druidism as a religion in the British Isles. Anyway, the Asgard would only learn of the British meeting the Nox in late 1944 and promptly reopened communications with their allies. While we do not know what the Asgard and the Nox discussed on the 5th of August they singed the Treaty of Gaia which led to their ancient alliance being formed once more. The Asgard convinced the Nox and the British to enter a closer relationship and the Gaia Protocols opened up migration and tourism from each group to the other. This manifested in the Nox settling on New Tasmania on New Windsor where they hung out with Thylacines and Tasmanian Devils and did Nox things. The only real effect this had on Imperial Stargate Command was the ability to resurrect any killed soldiers in the war which is why New Tasmania Hospital is the second best in the United Empire with only the Imperial Hospital in London for the Imperial Family themselves.

The return of Anubis had led to Lord Yu withdrawing to his core lands where he promptly just dug in and fortified heavily with material support from the allies. His fortification and refusal to launch any offensives meant that his enemies spent their troops and Ha'taks attacking everyone but Lord Yu which allowed him to dig in even deeper as the other Goa'uld warlords tried to beat each other to death. The first major attempt to crack Lord Yu's defences was made by Cronus when he launched a series of attacks against the outer rim of Lord Yu's dominion. The attacks were brutal failures and Cronus was forced to withdraw in disgrace just as Anubis launched an attack on the centre of the front. Which managed to break through the front and threatened Cronus's capital all because he decided to attack Lord Yu and was defeated brutally. To Lord Yu the victory proved that standing with the human allies was the right path and launched a very brutal purge of those who had not supported working with humanity.

The second wave of interstellar warships launched in 1944 by the German Empire, the French Federation, the Russian Empire, and the Empire of Japan and the beginning of the construction of the Danubian, Arabian, Hellenic, Portuguese, Italian, and Brazilian warships. The first German Warship launched was the SMIS Bismarck launched from Keil at a grand ceremony as it was the formal creation of the Hochsterneflotte under the command of Admiral Karl Donitz. A few weeks later the Russian Empire launched HIRMIS Nicholas II from Saint Petersburg in a massive ceremony as the Russian Empire returned to their full status of a great power of the world in the eyes of the Russian Empire. The French Launched the Napoleon VI named after the Dreadnought destroyed in the Battle of Earth it was commissioned by Emperor Napoleon VI to show that France was strong.
