I know it's a little early, but I'm going to start up on my yearly Halloween story! And this is one I've delved in a few times, have been in the fandom for a while, but left when Ridonculous Race and Total Dramarama became a thing... that's right, I'm once again dipping my toes into the Total Drama franchise! And boy do I have... a little bit of a history with this franchise. Yeah, I do love this show... up to Pahkitew Island. When Ridonculous Race aired, I just didn't like it. And I think some people will agree that Total Dramarama went the Muppet Babies route, which, if it's your cup of tea, that's great, but I personally was not a fan of the Muppet Babies craze (save for A Pup Named Scooby-Doo). So, if you see different pairings that aren't canon, that's why.

That aside though, it's the first Total Drama story I've done in quite a long time that either I haven't co-written it with a certain someone (won't say who, much prefer to talk in PMs about it) or requests. Indeed, this is my own personal head canon for Total Drama, which takes place in an alternate timeline where while a lot of the events of the games did happen, nobody truly knows who won the game or not. So, for those expecting a reality show competition that takes place over the course of weeks, you've come to the wrong place. If you are fan of thrills, chills and the occasional spooks, you've come to the right place, my friends. That being said, why don't we get started, and you'll see what I mean. Anyway, enjoy!

In a mansion somewhere in Ontario, Canada, the sun was rising towards the windows. These windows, if one looked carefully, contained a bedroom owned by a young teenage girl. But it wasn't just any teenage girl. No, this young raven haired teenager happened to be one of the most famous villains in the very first season of Total Drama. Well, famous villain eventually turned anti-hero in the third season. Maybe it was because she was jealous of Alejandro, maybe it was because he was more sleazy and slimy than she was in World Tour, but all the same, people DID actually cheer for her in the third season.

Still, just because people found her better than Alejandro didn't mean she would become good overnight. No, there was still the fact that the volcano erupted during the final episode of World Tour and... well, she was still mad about having everything taken away from her. At least she had the courtesy of dumping on Alejandro in front of everyone, that certainly made her day. What happened between them in All-Stars didn't count because she could care less about Alejandro. Besides, it was all just a ploy to troll Chris, anyway, so after THAT episode aired, Heather immediately dumped Alejandro and just walked along her way, leaving the man heartbroken and humiliated.

Well, here she was now, about a year or so later, getting up from bed and showing off her pink kitty pajamas and pink short shorts as she stretched her arms out.

"Ugh, I felt like I slept on something slimy last night..." Heather muttered to herself as she swung her legs around and got up before noticing something slithering around her chest. At that moment, Heather's eyes widened themselves awake as they slowly looked down to see a brown python looking straight at her as it squeezed her chest and stuck its tongue out.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

The loud shriek woke up most of the household as a male boy's laughter followed not too soon after. Heather, recognizing the boy's laugh, growled as she pulled the snake off her and threw it out of the room. "DAMN IT, DAMIEN! I TOLD YOU TO KEEP YOUR PETS OUT OF MY ROOM!"

After she said that, she slammed the door and gave a small grumble to herself. Life wasn't easy when you're a rich kid with a couple of younger siblings. Sure, they were okay, but her brother could be quite a brat when it came to tormenting her. She looked up at the clock and gave a sigh as she went to her closet to collect her clothes. She figured that since she was up now, why not get dressed for the day.

A nice long shower, a change of clothes and breakfast later, Heather was now up and about as she was on her way to the mall, checking her watch as she gave a small sigh of relief. She had heard that a couple of her reality show friends (well, those that tolerated her anyway) were going to be there, and she didn't want to be fashionably late. Well, as late as she could be.

Pretty soon, she found the mall and entered inside, and went upstairs as some sweat appeared on her forehead, her eyes scanning the place. Eventually, she spotted her target sitting near the food court, which was not opened quite yet. Giving a small smile, she walked up towards the girls sitting next to each other as Heather gave a sigh of relief. "Sorry I'm late. My brother can be such a pain in the butt, you know."

"We've all been there." The orange haired crazy girl grinned as she was sitting on her head on a chair.

"Oh great. Her. You had to invite HER here." A blue haired goth girl sighed as she glared at the blonde haired teenage girl in the blue hoodie and blue short jeans, who was shuffling her hands nervously.

Heather narrowed her eyes at the goth girl. "I have a name, you know."

"All right, all right, settle down, settle down." The blonde haired girl, known as Bridgette, held out her hands and put them between the glaring Heather and goth girl. "I know you and Heather don't get along, Gwen, but there's a special reason I invited her for this."

The Goth girl, Gwen, fell silent for a few minutes as she eyed Heather carefully. The raven haired queen bee held up her hands as she said, "Look, Goth girl, just because I did some things in Total Drama plenty of times DOESN'T mean I'm a bad girl twenty-four seven!"

"Maybe not, but you're still a jerk." Gwen crossed her arms.

"Calm down, both of you." Bridgette said as she put her hands on both Heather and Gwen. "I know you two don't like getting along, but I need you to cooperate. Now, let me tell you the reason I called you three here."

The orange haired crazy girl in green, known as Izzy, grinned as she flipped back upright and pulled out some blueprints. "Ooooooooohhhh, what are we doing on this particular sunny day, hm, hm, hm?"

Bridgette couldn't help but chuckle at the excitable Izzy as she looked between the four. "Now, as you three already know, in two weeks, Halloween is about to come around the corner."

"Halloween?" Heather said as she lowered her eyelids. "Why so particularly interested in THAT holiday?"

"Well..." Bridgette said as she gave a small smile. "I was thinking about throwing a nice Halloween party, not a huge one, just a nice get-together with dates, and..." She paused for a moment. "Well, I gathered you three today because you three seem like the best options for planning this very bash itself."

Gwen and Izzy smiled a bit as they paid attention to what Bridgette was saying. Heather, on the other hand, yawned a bit as she crossed her arms. "And what does this have to do with me, per se?"

"Heather, although we don't get along... a lot... you still do quite a lot for the community. And you're skilled and good at spotting perfect locations for a few shindigs." Bridgette said as she smiled at Heather.

Heather paused as Izzy gave a grin. "She's got a good point, Queenie. You do have the skill sets for setting up parties."

"Well, yeah, but Halloween parties are kiddie stuff, ain't it? No offense, but bobbing for apples and throwing candy around isn't exactly what I picture for a party." Heather rolled her eyes.

"If you do this for us, we can get Alejandro off your back." Bridgette said. "We know he's been bugging you for the past month..."

"Ugh, tell me about it." Heather gave a sigh as she pulled out her phone and pulled out her text messages. "Despite me blocking his number, he still finds a way to get a new phone and send texts. Why doesn't he get a hint that no means no!"

Bridgette noticed Heather's flaring face as she came close to crushing her phone before stopping her. "I get you don't have the highest opinion on Alejandro. Heck, none of us exactly do. But I REALLY want this to be a Total Drama get-together for everyone."

"Everyone?" Gwen asked.

"Well... not EVERYONE, per se. Just those that I feel pretty much deserve to be here." Bridgette said. "I mean, from all of us on the original season, Revenge and Pahkitew, in one way or another, I think we can agree that everyone deserves to be at this party. That, and it would be a good chance to get to know our boyfriends a little... closer, if you know what I mean?"

Bridgette couldn't help but give a lovesick smile as Gwen and Izzy gave smiles and lovesick sighs of their own. Heather, on the other hand, rolled her eyes as she crossed her arms. "You three are lucky I decide to keep my high school boyfriend a secret. At least he knows better than to bring up my Total Drama life."

"Well, you always did keep his gift he gave you in your poc-" Izzy started to say before Heather slapped her mouth.

"Up bup bup!" Heather hushed the crazy girl before looking towards Bridgette. "Okay, say I DO help you with this party, and I find the perfect place. What exactly is my assignment here?"

"Just help us locate the perfect place to host the Halloween party, and give out some critiques to my party plans." Bridgette said as she pulled out a small file. "All the while, Gwen, knowing all the ins and outs of dark and spooky things, can help with the decorations. So, you'll be teaming up with her for a while, Heather."

Gwen and Heather's eyes widened as both girls glared at each other, before Gwen said, "Bridgette, you're a wonderful friend and all, but this is a horrible idea."

"If you two don't feel comfortable with your working conditions, not to worry." Bridgette smiled. "I called another friend of ours to come over and help you two out, just in case you decide to break into a cat fight."

Heather and Gwen said nothing for a bit as they eyed each other, before giving a sigh, saying, "Fine."

"Oh! OH! I guess I handle the invitations, right, right, right?!" Izzy said as she jumped up and down.

"Exactly." Bridgette grinned. "All the while, I'm going to go around the town and see if I can get some food for the party. Vegetarian dishes are an obvious must, along with some meat dishes, since I know Owen's going to be there."

"How could he not?" Heather frowned as she crossed her arms. "That large boy is an eating machine!"

Bridgette gave a small nod as she looked between the three friends. "Well, you guys got your jobs. We'll wait for a minute for Leshawna to get here, then we can fill her in and get started."

"Leshawna?" Heather's eyes shrank as Gwen gave a small, evil grin.

"Oh, this is going to be fun..." Gwen chuckled evilly as she shuffled her hands.

And we'll end our first chapter here for the time being! Next time, the plans are now commencing as we follow Bridgette and see what she's been up to since her time in Total Drama has passed! More to come, so don't miss out! Anyway, read, review, criticize and suggest, folks!
