The actions of the Argentine soldiers on the Falkland's had sunk the already low relationship between the world powers and the La Paz Pact completely and the British public especially were outraged. The British government decided to move along a more cautious tack on the 5th of May demanding that the soldiers that had stolen the supplies be handed over to the British for trial the Argentines refused mainly because at the time they were to busy celebrating the reconquest of all their pre-Revolution territory. The British demanded again with the South Atlantic Squadron paying a friendly visit to Buenos Aires as the ambassador handed over the note. The Argentines took it more seriously this time but the ship carrying the wanted soldiers had been sunk by the Chileans during the landing at Pichilemu with all hands lost. As the Argentines were not able to fulfill the British demands and a British citizen was accidentally killed during the invasion of Chile by a stray artillery shot the United Empire snapped. Emperor-King George VI and Clement Attlee made a joint statement requesting that as they put it 'the leaders of all free nations' come to London. The La Paz Pact was explicitly excluded as the meeting of the League of Human Nations gathered in London where for three weeks the World agreed to the reforms proposed by the United Empire. When the London conference finally ended the assembled Head of States of the United Empire, Germany, France, Russia, the United States, Brazil, China, Japan, Italy, Portugal, Danubia, Ethiopia, and the Hellenic Empire made the Windsor declaration. The assembled nations formally announced their united league against the Goa'uld and for the freedom and liberation of all humans and their will to use force to maintain the peace between humanity. There was also a lot more stuff in the Windsor declaration but a lot of it dealt with restructuring the League of Human Nations or their new policy in the Goa'uld War.

The important part of the Windsor Declaration was that the world powers would use force if there was any sabotage of the war effort against the Goa'uld and the La Paz Pact fitted that criteria perfectly. Thus, the world powers began to prepare for war with parts of the Brazilian Army recalled from the stars to deal with the war in a more decisive manner. The world powers sent an ultimatum demanding the withdrawal from Chile, Ecuador, Venezuela, and Argentina immediately and ending their military governments. The La Paz Pact refused mostly because the day before the ultimatum arrived Caracas fell, and Colombia declared the rebirth of Gran Colombia on the 11th of May. The La Paz Pact unanimously refused the ultimatum regarding it as a massive overreach that could never be accepted by any nation. Therefore, on the 13th of May 1951 the world powers formally declared war on the La Paz pact the Imperial Air Force and Imperial Navy unleash their wrath across the continent as the Brazilian army marched across the Uruguayan and Argentina border.

The initial blow was a decisive success with large parts of Montevideo and Buenos Aries reduced to blazing ruins by the Death Gliders of the world powers. The HIMIS Eagle was recalled from their patrol of the inner system to provide orbital aid. The South American Inferno had truly begun, and the continent would be set ablaze with the wrath of mankind unleashed unto the La Paz Pact, the hammer of the gods hurled towards South America. Ha I think that's a bit to over the top oh wait the Bombing of Montevideo happened so that's pretty accurate. DO IT AGAIN BOMBER HARRIS!

The Federation of Judea had been on a downwards spiral throughout the 40's and by 1951 the only reason that they were not shooting each other was that the British happened to have a rather large military base in Jerusalem. But that would not hold off war for long the final spark came in late July 51 with the assassination of Israeli President Yosef Sprinzak by radical Pan-Arabists. The murder nearly led to outright Civil War with the Knesset outright proposing declaring independence as the State of Israel, but it was defeated by a single vote. With that vote tensions got worse and worse until it was clear that a referendum was needed on the subject. The options were either outright joining the Kingdom of the Arabs, or staying independent but effectively abolishing the border between the two and letting the Palestinian Parliament join the Kingdom of the Arabs. When the vote was held 50.0001% voted for the second option and despite the rants of Pan-Arabists the Federation of Judea survived albeit with one less member. Of course, the next year the votes were found to have been deliberately weighted in favour of the second option and the second referendum led to Judea being dissolved and joining the Kingdom of the Arabs despite the long vigorous and bloody protests of the Israelis. Now that's done where was I ah yes your wallet please.

The last Kull killed at the Third Battle of Ùr Albion was the first Kull killed that left an actual corpse that could be used in any way. The corpse was carefully taken back through the Stargate where it was promptly taken to the Nox Ambassador in an attempt to gain aid from the most advanced species in the galaxy in the medical field. The Nox refused as they viewed it as an abomination to nature and refused to work with it in any way so instead of doing the normal sane thing i.e. giving it to the Asgard the British decided to work on it themselves. Gathering the greatest doctors of the time the British gave them near unlimited funding and they got to work. Within three hours they had no idea what they were doing and asked for the Nox and the Asgard for help. The Asgard agreed to help and developed a better if still limited understanding of the Kull then the British as the doctors and Asgard debated what it could mean Tolkien walked in on the Kull's armour and pointed out that there was some Lantean technology on it. The Asgard immediately began to explore their limited library on Lantean technology while Tolkien was sent off to negotiate with the Nox again.

The Windsor Declaration had laid out several major reforms to the allied war effort most notably the creation of a unified High Command and ranking structure. The unified High Command meant that all operations would be coordinated together allowing humanity to strike with full force without dealing with conflicting orders which had appeared earlier in the war. The unified ranking structure meant that officers from differing nations could command lower ranking soldiers without debate. The ranks themselves were based off the British Army though the Germans and Americans did have some influence in the rankings. With the standardised rankings a suggestion was made to merge Interstellar Exploratory Teams to increase cooperation the proposal was turned down for the first time then, but it always returns.
