Hey guys, I'm back with another chapter:} Things have just been crazy, especially studying early for these TEAS test in January. My one friend made a joke asking if my test was like for the boston tea party lol. The TEAS test are like your SATs, but are getting into your chosen health programs like nursing.

Slight warning: In this chapter, there was some implied reference in the alternative marinette that someone threatened to expose with her pictures. I know it can be a heavy topic, when other people have pictures of you, and believe me I had to be in a tough position to say no and be careful for creeps like that.

Anyways, enjoy guys:}

Shout out to reviewers, I appreciate it very much guys, thank you so much:) KagamiPINKAgreste HopeGiver07 Butterfly giby-chan cheetahkit Bluerose CS Fangirl Gracekim20

Chapter six:

Marinette never really pictured herself in detention. Sure, she had some detentions for her tardiness and late homework at times, yet she couldn't tell her teachers that being Ladybug was more important than her schooling. However, she didn't expect to get a detention by punching Adrien Agreste in the face. Although the other Marinette in this universe, she was basically a celebrity in the detention room for fights. Marinette should probably start at the beginning, since punching Adrien in the face was an accident.

Everyone gathered around during lunch hour, watching Marinette and Adrien playing a video game in one of the computer labs in the school. The entire junior class, even some of the underclassmen were there making bets on who would win. Marinette and Adrien agreed on an old 80s street fighter game, which Marimette had good confidence in by beating Adrien to dust. In fact, in her other universe, Marinette taught the other Adrien some tricks of how to do better at video games.

Marinette felt fully good about herself, yet her ego started to burst when she realized how much of a monster this other Adrien was at video games. Adrien kept bating her with smirks, which she ignored accordingly. Everytime he gave her a smug look, Marinette would hit him harder with her avatar, where she would imagine herself that she's physically wiping the smirk off his face.

Marinette couldn't help fighting this weird deja vu when she played with Chat Blanc over the weekend. Chat Blanc was a good competitor to play video games with, but she still beat him in the end barely. She started to feel her hand cramping, the numbness going into her bloodstream, and needed to move her body a bit. Without even noticing Adrein being so close to her, she moved her hand upwards with the remote in hand, and accidentally smacked Adren in the face with the remote controller. They paused the game, Marinette apologizing profusely with Adrien's bloody nose, and not noticing one of the faculty members came in. Marinette didn't have the chance to explain herself, the teacher told both her and Adrien they have detention after school.

The teachers already assumed that those two probably got into a fight, so they didn't even bother to hear anyone's side of the story. Marinette really started to wonder how much the other Marinette and Adrien got into fights, since the teachers wouldn't believe them that they were peacefully playing a video game together. Marinette sighs onto her desk, finding herself in her lonesome with detention. She knew Adrien was supposed to show up, but he probably got held up in the infirmary again or skipped detention altogether. She started getting her chemistry homework out, not realizing some other troublemakers had joined their detention.

"Well, would you look here, Max! It's Marinette Dupain-Cheng, how are ya doing you fine piece of art, you're not so lonely now that we're here?" Marinette looked up in shock, surprised to see Nathaniel addressing her that way. She tried not to groan out lightly, since he was now in her personal space.

"I loved how you punched Adrien in the face, did I ever tell ya how captivating it is when you hit someone else when it's not my pretty face?" He asked jokingly, making Max laugh a little obnoxiously as well.

"It was an accident!" Marinette spluttered not liking how cosy Nathaniel threw a hand around her shoulders.

Nathaniel leaned down to whisper in her ear, thinking he's being all seductive, even though she just wants to roll her eyes at him. "Hey, if you want, my folks aren't home. You can come over to my place to chill, I did some great sketches, and I wouldn't mind drawing you naked above my sheets again." Marinette jumped out of her seat, her face burning with a hot blush, but she still kept herself in check.

"Yeah, I'm gonna have to pass, but I'm sure Max would be a great model instead," Marinette smiled fakely while sitting back down, hearing Max choking on something imaginary.

Nathaniel's eyes darkened a bit, then started to smirk at her a bit sharp. "That's very cute, gorgeous. However, I'm sure you wouldn't like the sketches I drew of you last time, somehow got leaked on social media with Max's help?" He asked her, which made Marinette see red while now getting into his personal space.

"Are you threatening me?" Marinette whispered deadly, making Nathaniel back up a bit, forgetting himself for a moment by who he was dealing with.

Nathaniel grinned sporadically, "Maybe, unless there's a reason I should?" He asked her while getting into a position to kiss her, even though she protested by him touching her intimately.

Finally, she snapped and punched Nathaniel in the face hard. Marinette breathed heavily in anger, "Ew, gross, it's already a turn off for you being so damn pushy. However, when a girl tells you no, you better listen up, especially if it's me!" She yelled loudly about to grab her chemistry book to smack silly at this awful Nathaniel in this universe.

"Yeah, Kurtzberg. You should know better to threaten any girl, especially for one who could put you in your place, and give you any nasty punch." Adrien said while leaning casually into the classroom.

Adrien may look calm by standing there, but it took everything he could from getting suspended once he was finished with Nathaniel. Adrien couldn't believe what he heard, no girl should ever be pushed like that. He knew as Chat Blanc, he would be paying Nathaniel a little visit tonight.

Nathaniel knew it was best for him and Max to go, since the most notorious fighters in school were now in the same room. "Whatever, it would be an eyesore to share my sketches of you anyway, since you're so easy." With that, both of the boys left, but not before Adrien gave them a glare that promised death.

Marinette crossed her arms, trying to calm herself down. Even though those weren't her sketches, it didn't mean she was still angry for the other Marinette's behalf. Adrien slowly walked up to her, looking at her with sympathy and putting an arm behind his neck nervously.

"Hey, umm, Marinette. Forget what Nathaniel said, they're not worth it. I'm sure they won't post anything, but if they do. Let's just say our high school will have two students on a medical leave for the rest of the year." Marinette let out a choked laugh, looking at Adrien with a bit of mirth in her eyes.

"Thanks Adrien, I really needed to hear that. I just can't believe Nathaniel would do something like that, and he really pissed me off to think he could use that for his favor." Marinette hissed out, reminding Adrien of her acting like an angry cat.

"Yeah, anyways, I think the teacher forgot about us. Do you need a ride home, nothing like that, I just don't think you should be by yourself right now." Adrien explained, even though he wanted to kick himself for butchering his nerves.

"Even though I punched you in the face?" Marinette asked meekly, looking at anywhere but him.

He laughed genuinely, "Like you said, it was an accident, and we got to start somewhere by calling a truce…" They both smiled at each other, Marinette having no idea she might have changed something in this alternative reality.

They both exited out of the building, some of the lingering students in bafflement by seeing Marinette and Adrien laughing with each other. Already, a bunch of the remaining students started texting everyone, implying that Marinettte won the video game contest.

Marinette stopped for a moment when Adrien went towards a motorcycle. She waited a moment for a familiar car to come pick him up, but Adrien still stood near the motorcycle looking at her expectantly.

"Are you hopping on, Dupain-Cheng? It's just like riding your moped, but cooler!" Adrien grinned while padding the seat invitingly.

Marinette calmed herself down, then backtracked for a moment by finding out the other Marinette could ride a moped. Marinette reminded herself she has done some more dangerous things as Ladybug than riding a little motorcycle. She slowly sat behind him, fixing her helmet, and slowly put her arms around his waist like she saw from those action movies.

"I know you may not like me, but you're going to have to hold on tighter than that." Adrien instructed her while turning on the engine.

"I already like you a lot!" Marinette confessed loudly without thinking, thinking she's saved by the roaring engine. However, Adrien heard her perfectly loud and clear, and he tried everything to tone down his goofy smile.

"Just hang on tight!" Adrien announced loudly before both of them glided down the afternoon of Paris.

Unknown to them, Nathaniel watched with jealous eyes, tightening his grip on his sketchbook. He felt a white anger pulsing into him, then a pretty little akuma stroking the flames to his wrath. At the dead of night, Evillustrator shall make an entrance, and bring back akuma ladybug miraculous as payment.
