Shout out to reviewers, you guys are awesome and motivates me to write more!

giby-chan It's always nice to see a Mariblanc fan:). I totally will go down with this ship. Oh yeah, The baddi Marinette is still with Luka in the canon alternative. I might plan soon by showing baddi Marinette and Luka going on one of their dates:) And adrien and kagami are still together in the canon alternative, while Luka and kagami are together in the alternative reality. Poor good Marinette still not with anyone, but Chat Blanc and the bad Adrien might change her status lol. Yes baddi Marinette is planning big with Gabriel, but what could she want from him you will have to wait and see;)

KagamiPINKAgreste lol yes baddi Marinette doesn't waste time and cuts right to the chase. The other Gabriel in the alternative reality, you saw, has a bit of a temper. I actually like Nathalie too and she could do so much better than Gabriel. I can see the attraction with him being rich and handsome and all, but Nathalie is still too good for him. The baddi Marinetteis planning something alright, has Gabriel right where she wants him, and it's not good lol;}

xSapphirexRosesxFanx Yes neither the Marinettes' can't catch a break huh:{

Chapter eight:

Alya Cesaire woke up from a long sleep. She quietly rolled herself away from her sort of lover Nino. Alya stared at Nino, admiring his naked chest in the daylight hours, and knowing how much it breaks her heart to leave him alone again. Alya and Nino had a complicated relationship, something she couldn't explain.

He made her blood boil at times, sometimes she just wanted to smack the living daylights out of him, and then she wanted to have some frenzy sex with him. They usually always find each other in a comforter, wrapped around each other in a sweaty mess, and couldn't figure out what they fought about to begin with.

Alya was a new girl in her freshman year, she didn't really know anybody. More than anything, she wanted to be noticed and finally fit in somewhere. Marinette took her under her wing with no questions asked, but Alya knew not to question Marinette's choices. She loved hanging out with Marinette, especially when she became one of the popular crowd.

However, she didn't like this ugliness Marinette brought out in her, yet Alya would do anything she can to remain popular and in Marinette good gracious. Although, she would never forget how Marinette tossed her friend Chloe away, even though those two were childhood friends. Alya realized how easy it was for Marinette to replace someone, so Alya did everything she could not to be replaced too.

Over the years, she respected and feared Marinette altogether. If they were back in the olden times, Alya would compare Marinette to the infamous Queen Anne Boleyn, one of King Henry the 8ths wives, since she was an ambitious and cunning thing to have become queen. Marinette knew how to rule the crowd, they didn't call her the queen bee for nothing, and she made sure no one forgets how her wrath can ruin your own reputation. Alya wouldn't lie, Marinette can be a petty bitch at times, but there is a softer and caring side not a lot of people get to see. But now, sometime later in their sophomore year, Marinette became a ruthless person where you can no longer touch her.

Alya grabbed her scattered clothes, hoping to not wake up Nino. She would love nothing more to get back in bed with Nino, but she had school in a few short hours and was supposed to act like she didn't care about him. Marinette would throw a fit if she found out that Alya had deeper feelings for Nino besides just sex. Marinette didn't like Alya hanging with Adrie's right hand man, since they didn't like each other one bit. Although, Alya did a short pause when she tried to put her stupid bra on, and remembered how Marinette wanted to call a truce with Adrien.

Alya has no idea what's been up with Marinette lately, she almost seemed lost somehow. However, she couldn't ignore how she loved the kindness radiating off of Marinette, which she hasn't seen from her since their beginning of sophomore year. Maybe, just maybe, Marinette has finally decided to put her pettiness aside and just let herself live her life. Alya knew Marinette home life wasn't the greatest, and so cold and lonely. Alya would never forget when she brought Maitnettr into her home the first time. Marinette had her guard down in childlike wonderment, saying how miraculous that their family is close, and is very lucky. In fact, Alya's siblings just adored her, and Marinette spoiled lovingly on Alya's young twin siblings.

Alya heard her phone beep, she quickly grabbed it and her eyes bulged by what she saw. Alya knew everyone's business, any track of the rumor train, and people say her hair is so wild because it's full of dirty secrets. So you could say she was surprised to see Marinette and Adrien laughing with each other, and nothing hostile in their body language. Already, the journalist in her is spiraling, there is just no way in hell Marinette would willingly be with Adrien Agreste.

What was her devious friend planning, and why wasn't she in on it? Why is Marinette acting nicer, more of a decent human being? Is she doing this to get votes for the spring fling dance, the one last dance before prom comes into play? Does she want to be prom queen, even though it's seniors only? What's more, is Marinette actually doing this with the goodness of heart? Alya almost wanted to scoff at that last part, but held herself back with the hopeful possibility.

"Where did you go, Vixen?" Nino asked groggily, using the familiar nickname he has always used on her.

Alya smirked at him, thinking it wouldn't hurt to spend a little longer in Nino's company. If Marinette has decided to start sleeping with the enemy, it wouldn't hurt Alya to do the same. However, Alya actually loved Nino, too bad she would never have the guts to tell him.

Marinette tossed and turned in her gigantic canopy bed. However, no matter how much she tried, she just couldn't sleep. Marinette walked quietly out of the room, not wanting to disturb Kiki, since it took a lot out of the poor kwamii to transform her into a baddy ladybug.

Marinette turned on the kitchen light, then she poured a glass of warm milk, and a hint of nostalgia hit her at once. Her father in her own dimension, he would always pour herself a glass of milk for a sleepless night, and then they would exchange their own fairytale story at the top of their head till she fell asleep. Marinette shuts her eyes, trembling with sadness, since she dearly missed home. She missed her parents, she wanted to be back home so desperately in her own dimension, and she wanted to wake up in her small but comfortable bed.

Marinette wondered if her parents could identify that their real daughter is not with them. The Marinette they have with them now, is a selfish person who switched lives with her, and is a real class bitch you would find in a cliche teenager film. Marinette scoffed internally, thinking the other Marinette is probably being a wonderful actress, acting like the perfect doting daughter in their eyes. She so badly wished the other Marinette was here, so she could just slap her across the face.

Marinette wanted to ask the other Marinette as to why she chose to switch places with her? Marinette found out from Kiki, the other Marinette never stayed too long in the other dimensions, just a bit of mischief and never bloody switched places with the other dimensions' Marinettes'. Although Marinette got a little satisfaction by ruining the popular and bad ass Marinette's reputation in this dimension, which pleased Marinette with a petty revenge.

Marinette sipped on her milk, trying to ease away her churning thoughts. Kiki warned her that she's more prone to being affected by the akuma ladybug, which could cause her to be highly negative and irrational. Marinette tried to think about Chat Blanc, hoping he would be okay, and looking at the positive side that he easily didn't take her miraculous.

When she saw Chat almost drowned in the river, she didn't even hesitate to jump in after time. Sure, there have been many times with her Chat Noir, where she would be scared to death if something happened to him. However, with Chat Blanc, she felt a new kind of panic when she ran after him. She couldn't explain it, yet for some reason the answer was right in front of her. She cared about Chat Blanc, and she did like him of course. However, the liking is furthering the friend area upwards.

Shit.

Marinette then heard a tapping on a window, then she quickly glanced at her balcony window, and saw Chat looking through the window pleadingly.

Double shit.

Marinette cursed internally, then she quickly opened the balcony window.

"Shit Chat, is everything okay, it's pretty late! You don't have to worry about my pictures being leaked, ladybug took care of it surprisingly from what I gathered."

Marinette reassured him, trying to act like she wasn't the one who took care of Nathaniel, and playing the part of her civilian self. However, for some reason, lying to Chat about her identity made her seem more ashamed than ever.

"Marinette," Chat whispered quietly, finally looking up at her, and then making her notice the big red slap hand print by his mask.

Marinette gasped in shock. "Chat, did you get this while in the akuma fight, I'm so sorry I got you into this mess," Marinette apologized sadly before Chat gingery tilted her chin towards his fiery blue eyes.

"No princess, don't blame yourself. It is my fault, since I let Hawk Moth condone this akuma charade for so long. I paid the price by finally speaking my mind, and it felt damn good to finally talk back at him." Marinette noticed his blue eyes now became a sea green, his hint of green reminded her of someone who she couldn't place.

Chat put his forehead against hers, then they both closed their eyes and just enjoyed each other's presence. Marinette wanted to know more about Hawk Moth, and wanted to express her anger towards Hawk Moth's on Chat's behalf. However, she could tell Chat was drained as it is, so she coaxed him to have a warm glass of milk and chill in her bedroom for awhile.

Marinette's tired mind didn't really fathom the inappropriateness by having a boy on her bed in the middle of an unsupervised night. All that mattered was there being plenty of room in this humongous bed. They both sipped their milk, enjoying each other's company in silence, and then Chat interrupts it with his usual jokes.

"I say, you sure know how to treat a fine kitty here. A warm glass milk, and a comfy bed. All I could say is a nice little bedtime story and my ears being scratched would make this night perfect." Marinette laughed at Chat's silliness, but then thought for a second.

"You know, I could tell you a story. My dad always, I mean, when he would stay longer here away from his job. He always poured me a glass of milk and we shared some make-believe stories to put our insomnia away." Chat's eyes widened at this, and looked intrigued by what Marinette was saying.

"A story, I would love to hear one from you princesses. It's been forever, since my family ever told me a bedtime story, even though I'm pretty much grown now." Chat finished with a teasing smirk, which didn't reach his eyes. Marinette remembered the first night she met Chat Blanc, she couldn't help but feel Chat's mother was no longer here and how desperately lonely he was.

Without realizing, she pulled a pale white hair lock away from his eyes, and noticed his white snow hair started to have a little blondness in them.

"No one is too old for bedtime stories, kitty," Marinette told him with a smile, and didn't even need to think much of a story.

Marinette could tell him the story of how she switched places with the other Marinette into this universe. However, she had to be careful about how she paraphrased her words, and make it a more story-book quality. She couldn't tell Chat the truth yet, but this helped appease her guilty conscience for now.

"Once upon a time, there was a princess who had everything she ever wanted, but she was still unhappy. Everyone either feared or doted on the beautiful princess. No one understood how lonely the princess felt, so she tended to push everyone away with the ire of her wicked power.

"One day, the lonely princess was given a magic mirror by her old servant, who told her that it's your choice on how you look at your own happiness. The lonely princess scoffed at her servant and looked at the magic mirror. She found herself shocked by seeing herself, but knowing it's not her. She found herself looking at another princess who looked exactly like her, and the other princess was surrounded by people who loved her in another kingdom.

"The lonely princess full of longing and greed wanted to switch places with this happy princess. Before she went into the mirror, the servant asked her if it was worth ruining the other princess's life for her own selfish desire. The lonely princess ignored her servant's words and switched places with the happy princess.

The happy princess found herself in a dark and lonely kingdom. The old servant explained how his lonely princess switched places for the more happy kingdom. The happy princess wanted more than anything to get back home, even though she was angry at the lonely princess for taking over her life.

"Over the days, the happy princess begins to see how gloomy the people in the kingdom are, and then decides to bring happiness to the subjects. At first, they're weary of the princess' kind attitude, but they quickly warm up to her quickly. The kingdom then becomes brighter, but the princess still misses her home dearly.

"She has become closer to a dragon she has found in the woods one day, and finds out how the lonely princess used to bully this poor dragon. She somehow appeased the grumpy dragon with treats she made herself, in order to gain some trust from him. Luckily, they soon become fast friends, and he becomes someone she can deeply confide in.

"She always finds herself hating that she's lying to her dragon that she's their lonely princess. However, she doesn't know what else to do, so she keeps on lying to appease everyone. She more than anything wants to go home, but she also hates how she doesn't want to leave this kingdom that she has grown fond of…"

Marinette did everything she could to hold back tears, not wanting herself to give away towards Chat, but a few tears escaped her with her noticing.

Chat looked at her deeply, making Marinette realize how attentive he was when she told him her supposed fairy tale. They both laid closer to each other, even though Marinette thought it was probably best if she pulled herself farther away from him, but she couldn't do it without feeling like it was wrong.

Chat brushed a few tears away from her eyes, making his voice into a soothing tone. "Marinette, I love your story, even though I found it a bit sad towards the end. Although, all fairytales have a bit of bittersweetness, yes. What I gather from it, it seems you're holding yourself back from becoming happy, my princess. It's not selfish for wanting something better, but it's our choice of how we act to get it." Chat finished while gently pulling Marinette to his chest.

Marinette knew Chat was perceptive, but she still knew it would be hard for him to figure out the whole story with a few glare hints. She tried not to blush madly when her head was against his chest. She actually took comfort in his body heat, and the way she felt so protected in his embrace.

Like a dragon nest, she thought to herself with a whimsical smile.

"Chat, I now feel bad that you're comforting me, and you were the one I should be cheering up." She tried to say, but he just hushed her while rubbing her back gently.

"I'm fine, princess. Believe me, you've taken care of me more than you know, which I'm so thankful for. I think it's time we get some shut eye in, since we both had a tiring day. I'll sing a song while telling the story, how does that sound?" He questioned her with a smile, which she nodded before blushing hotly when their mouths almost touched. She got herself in a more comfortable position, then started to play with his hair gently in a soothing manner, which he groaned in appreciation. She began to feel sleep take a toll on her, she continued to listen to a fairy tale song about a girl named Lily, but she knew no more afterwards when Chat kissed her on the forehead as a good night.

"Lily was a little girl

Afraid of the big, wide world

She grew up within her castle walls

Now and then she tried to run

And then on the night with the setting sun

She went in the woods away

So afraid, all alone

They warned her, don't go there

There's creatures who are hiding in the dark

Then something came creeping

It told her, don't you worry just

Follow everywhere I go

Top over the mountains or valley low

Give you everything you've been dreaming of

Just let me in, ooh

Everything you wantin' gonna be the magic story you've been told

And you'll be safe under my control

Just let me in, ooh

Just let me in, ooh

She knew she was hypnotized

And walking on cold thin ice

Then it broke, and she awoke again

Then she ran faster than

Start screaming, is there someone out there?

Please help me

Come get me

Behind her, she can hear it say

Just let me in, ooh

Just let me in"
