Two weeks had passed since Yuri and Ehsan had last spoken to Captain America and Tony Stark AKA Iron Man but to the young couple it had felt like a lifetime since they had spoken to their one time mentors.

And now they were talking to them over Skype in between dimensions. "So, let me get this straight." Tony stated before clearing his throat. "The dimension you guys are currently in has its own set of heroes, a version of The Avengers which you were invited to join the same day you crossed over and now your living the high life?"

"I know it sounds crazy." Yuri responded as she brushed some hair over her here. "But it's true, all of it, the heroes in this dimension are so well liked by the public that one of The Justice League members has his own museum dedicated to him in his home city!"

"Well, I know what I'm lobbying for in the next election." Tony commented dryly in a way that made it hard to tell if he was serious or not. "Where are Marco, Kat and the sisters?"

"Marco's on monitoring duty up in the Watchtower which is the space based HQ of the Justice League." Ehsan chimed in and Tony and Cap did a collective double take at that. "Yeah, you heard me, the Justice League's HQ is a space station, I don't know much about Space Stations, but it seems state of the art to me."

"As for Kat, she's undertaking a mission for the league in China as we speak alongside three native heroes." Yuri added before shaking her head. "I don't know many details beyond that, but there was a call out to see if any heroes could replace Kat because she had a sudden panic attack."

"That's concerning." Cap responded with a frown and the young couple nodded in agreement. "Do you know what caused it?"

"This is just speculation on my part, but from what I heard, it was a lot like the panic attacks she got whenever word got out that The Hulk was on a rampage." Ehsan explained and Tony and Cap's jaws dropped when they heard that. "Something I said?"

"Right around the time the generator was stolen from SHIELD's R&D labs, Bruce Banner went missing from his cell at SHIELD HQ." Captain America explained and all colour drained from Yuri and Ehsan's faces when it hit them. "Initially I thought it was unrelated, that something had caused Bruce to hulk out and escape, but this is too big to be a coincidence."

"Cap, SHIELD's a government agency, surely you must have surveillance cameras installed!" Yuri asked desperately and Cap shook his head. "How has SHIELD existed for this long without installing surveillance cameras at its HQ?!"

"It's not that, you remember when Jessica caused the blackout at The Raft that led to the massive jailbreak?" Tony asked and the two heroes nodded for they had good reason to remember that event, not only did it lead to more heroes joining on as mentors on the internship but it had inadvertently caused the death of Kat's father and Shockwave's expulsion. "She pulled the same trick here, fortunately we had power back up within an hour but that was more than enough time for them to steal the generator and kidnap Bruce."

"That reminds me, I have a couple of questions that have been bugging me all day." Yuri added as she shifted her weight. "One: Was the generator even tested? It was a one way trip for all four of us and according to the sisters, it suddenly came to life and was massively unstable."

"We were going to test it before it was stolen, that's why it has so many flaws in it's design." Cap explained with a frown on his face. "Believe me Yuri, I'm just as unhappy at this predicament as you are."

"Unhappy doesn't even begin to describe it." Yuri sighed in response before leaning back. "As for my second question, why start with The Hulk if they wanted to do a test run? We didn't run into Bruce at the warehouse and if we had spotted The Hulk in there, we would've gotten the hell out of there and called in the rest of the Avengers."

"And we would've been happy to help, even if the four of you are just junior members of The Avengers." Cap nodded in understanding before frowning. "As for that question, you'll have to ask the three villains yourselves when you find them."

"Speaking of villains, just out of curiosity what are the villains like over there?" Iron Man asked and Yuri thought for a moment.

"They seem like a real mixed bag, especially compared to our home dimension's villains." Yuri responded as she thought back over the past two weeks. "My first battle over here was against Metallo, a Cyborg that hit like a truck powered by the weakness of the main hero over here, Kat battled a baddie called Killer Croc next, a giant of a man with a skin condition that gave, among other things, reptilian like skin and a lust for blood, he was powerful enough to give Kat a run for her money."

"And then there's the guy Marco fought, Captain Boomerang." Ehsan added and Tony nearly fell out of seat from laughing so hard. "He's an Australian criminal who uses explosive boomerangs as his main weapons, for some reason he likes to pick fights with a guy who can run at the speed of sound."

"Okay, seriously, who did Marco fight?" Tony asked once he regained his composure and Yuri and Ehsan remained quiet. "Wow, you are serious, aren't you?"

"Based on Marco's description of him, I think I could've taken him before my powers activated." Yuri deadpanned before clearing her throat. "The last villain we fought that week was a guy calling himself Firefly, he's an insane pyromaniac in power armour that allows him to fly and I came THIS close to getting my hair burnt off before me and Ehsan defeated him, at which point Target tried to kill him."

"Good to know that he's still up to his old tricks." Cap responded with a frown and Yuri nodded.

"He got away and we haven't seen him since, Hellraiser orchestrated a massive breakout at the asylum that was holding Firefly and Killer Croc in his typical fashion, but he hasn't been seen since and Jessica? We haven't seen her at all since she went through the portal." Yuri added before shaking her head. "You'd think that three villains with their distinctive appearances would be easier to spot but Target still has his image inducer, wouldn't be surprised if he gave one to Jessica and Hellraiser."

"Which means they can be anywhere." Cap nodded as he got the idea. "How are you too adjusting to life over there?"

"I can't speak for Ehsan obviously, but I'm used to living the high life, what with my dad being a doctor and all." Yuri explained as she ran a hand through her hair. "Biggest challenge for me is getting used to a new city after living in New York all my life."

"Aside from the doctor bit, I'm pretty much the same as Yuri." Ehsan chimed in as he folded his arms. "I'm missing my family obviously but aside from that, we're getting used to life over here, which reminds me, how exactly is this Skype Call happening?"

"We're not sure ourselves, we saw Yuri's profile on the Skype call chat, and we decided to take a chance." Cap admitted as he shrugged his shoulders. "We have seen Kat and Marco's profiles as well, but they haven't answered our calls, I take it you didn't bring your computer through with you Yuri?"

"I didn't think I'd need it for what was meant to be a one night mission." Yuri responded as she shook her head. "But when it became clear that we would be stuck here for a while I went ahead and brought myself a desktop and a laptop, the laptop being the computer I'm calling you on."

"We'll see if we can figure out why we're able to contact you." Tony responded with a nod and Yuri grinned. "We'll see if we can contact Kat and Marco as well, once Kat returns from China."

"Even taking into account the fact that China's twelve hours ahead of the US, Marco is on monitor duty on the Watchtower for most of the day." Yuri explained before pausing a bit. "Basically, League members alternate monitoring League activities on the Watchtower, Kat has been reluctant to do it due to her ADHD, but she has been told that she'll have support when her time does come up." Yuri explained and the two older heroes nodded.

"What about you Yuri?" Iron Man asked and Yuri sighed knowing where this was going. "We know you were finally diagnosed with Autism during your last year on the internship."

"Yeah and it explained a lot about why I never felt like I belonged in the public school system." Yuri admitted with a sigh before shaking her head. "Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of good people in the Justice League, some more aloof than others, but I don't trust them enough to admit that I'm on the high end of the spectrum yet, I wouldn't be surprised if some of the older heroes suspected as much though, especially since there's at least one mind reader up there."

"It took you a long time to go public with your diagnosis over here Yuri, you'll come around to it eventually." Cap responded and Yuri readily nodded in agreement remembering Captain America encouraging her to go public with it. "Just remember what I asked you when you finally did go public."

"They already respect you as Silent Tempest, what would revealing your diagnosis change about that?" Yuri nodded as she thought back to that day before shaking her head. "This is different Cap, back home I'm already an established Superhero, to the point where I've lost count of the Silent Tempest fan clubs that keep popping up the internet but here?" Yuri asked as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. "The general public has only known of my existence for a little over two weeks and the heroes here are still getting to know me, fighting one of Superman's toughest enemies was a good head start at least but I'm not ready to go forward with revealing that I'm autistic just yet."

"I understand but they will find out one way or another." Cap responded and Yuri nodded reluctantly. "We have to go but we will be calling your parents to let them know that your safe."

"Yeah, sure, speak to you later." Yuri nodded before Tony and Cap hung up on them ending the Skype call, Yuri threw her head back and ran both hands down her face as Ehsan looked over her. "I know Cap meant well but that last bit opened up a lot of bad memories."

"Related to your dad, right?" Ehsan asked and Yuri nodded as she turned to face her boyfriend. "Well, it's not like your dad didn't mean well either, I don't think a mutant had ever been diagnosed with autism before you and he wanted to help you through that by running those tests."

"I know but it was seriously cutting into my time as Silent Tempest, I can't count the number of times that I tried to sneak out as Silent Tempest whenever he was planning a session with me." Yuri added before shaking her head. "If it weren't for the fact that I love dogs, I could've sworn the only reason we got a dog for Christmas that year was so that he could be alerted to my escape attempts!"

"To be fair, your dad got you a German Shepherd, those things' barks could be heard across time and space." Ehsan joked and Yuri barely supressed a laugh at his joke. "Look, if we were able to get in contact with Cap and Tony then maybe we can do the same for our parents, I know you've missed having Kage around."

"Even if I did abuse my powers a bit whilst playing fetch with Kage." Yuri admitted with a sheepish grin before checking the time on her laptop. "Maybe in the morning, it's getting late as is."

"True enough, though that would make it early morning over in China, so Kat probably won't get any sleep when she gets back." Ehsan pointed out and Yuri shook her head.

"This is the same girl who started taking sleeping pills after The Great Phantasmo incident, if anything she'll just be delayed in how late she takes those pills." Yuri commented before pausing. "Whatever happened to that guy anyway?"

"The Great Phantasmo? Well, Superheroine or not, he still planned to kidnap a teenage girl and make her a sex slave for a group of thugs." Ehsan shrugged his shoulders as he sat down on the bed. "Needless to say, that didn't make him popular in prison, he was barely a week into his prison sentence before he was found stabbed to death in the prison showers, think I heard that it was something like seventy to a hundred stab wounds."

"And considering we're talking about a guy who's only powers were that he was a psychic, that's about as overkill as it gets." Yuri commented before shaking her head. "I know death doesn't last forever in this business but even if he did come back, Kat basically threatened to kill him if she ever saw him again and this is the same girl who got it drilled into her head at an early age that all life is precious, if there was a time for him to come back it would be now."

"Frankly, I'm surprised Marco didn't kill him himself I know I would've killed him if he and his thugs went through with their threat to go after you next." Ehsan pointed out and Yuri shuddered in response.

"Don't remind me, I'm still not convinced that scumbag was bluffing in an attempt to scare me." Yuri responded with a shudder before grinning. "At least we'll never find out now that The Great Phantasmo is pushing up daisies and his equipment is destroyed."

"I'll drink to that." Ehsan nodded in agreement before standing up. "I'm off to get changed, I don't think your in the mood for some fun after that conversation."

"Unless that fun is playing video games instead of sex, no." Yuri nodded in agreement before she signed out of her laptop and closed the lid. "Hopefully, I can get some sleep after that trip down memory lane, still I wonder how Kat's doing in China?" Yuri thought as she started getting changed.

*back in China*

The four heroes plus Bruce were well on their way to the village by this point and once again Kat had opted to fly on ahead to scout the village, when she reached the centre of the rural village she saw Livewire and Luminous standing in front of the gathered villagers with no sign of Parasite, remembering her first encounter with Batman Kat ordered her wings to retract and hu behind the closest house to the two villains.

"Guys, I see Livewire and Luminous." Kat whispered into her earpiece as she sized up the two villains. However even though she was closer to the two villains she still couldn't see Parasite. "No sign of Parasite though."

"He's definitely still in the village, Bruce says that he hasn't seen Parasite leave the village for a few days." Black Canary responded and Kat nodded. "Wait for us to catch up with you, as strong as you are Katrina your still outnumbered and Parasite can drain your powers."

"I don't know, the way Livewire and Luminous are hanging around the villagers makes it seem like they are trying to decide which one they want to execute next." Kat responded with a frown as she kept her eyes on the two villains. "With all due respect Black Canary, if they are going to execute another villager then I'm intervening."

"That's fine, we're just outside the village gates." Black Canary responded and Kat nodded even though she knew the older Superheroine couldn't see her. "But at the same time, you can't be reckless, not only do these guys tangle with Superman most of the time but they have been doing this for a lot longer than you."

"It's not the first time I've battled villains with a lot more experience than me, both here and back home." Kat responded as she kept an eye on the two Supervillains. "Won't be the last either if we're being honest, some of the villains back home have been doing this since the 60s at the earliest."

"To be fair, they sound like they are heading to the Supervillain Retirement Home sooner or later." Black Canary responded jokingly, and Kat grinned in response. "Are you certain you can't see Parasite?"

"I didn't see him during my initial fly over, and you'd think someone who looks like him would be easy to spot anywhere, let alone a rural Chinese village." Kat explained as she shook her head before leaning back against the wall. "Be ready to back me up if they do try anything."

"Off course." Black Canary nodded before Luminous grabbed an elderly male villager.

"Well, well, well, it's your lucky day gramps." Luminous commented as he threw the villager to the ground and pointed his gun to his head. "Not only does your miserable existence got snuffed out but your grandkids will join you very soon." Luminous added and the villager started speaking in Mandarin, whilst Kat couldn't understand a word of what he was saying his tone of voice made it clear the he was begging for his life. "Sorry, but your gibberish isn't saving your life."

"Kat, we can hear that scumbag through the earpiece." Green Arrow commented as Kat clenched a fist. "We're almost there, just hold out a bit…..."

Unfortunately, Green Arrows commands fell on deaf ears as Luminous went to pull the trigger. "But I will!" Kat called out as she sprang into action at top speed, Luminous had just enough time to look up before Kat's fist connected with his jaw knocking the light based villain clean out as he was sent flying, Kat could hear Green Arrow cussing through her earpiece but paid it no mind as she turned to face Livewire.

"So, your one of the new kids on the block?" Livewire asked with a chuckle as she got her electrical powers ready. "Dragon Girl, right? I won't go down as easy as Luminous! Or you!"

"You can certainly try, now where's Parasite?!" Kat responded and Livewire merely motioned behind her, Kat barely had time to react before Parasite appeared from the crowd of villagers behind her and grabbed onto her.

"Kat?!" Green Arrow called out to her but all he got in response were her screams of pain. "Oh hell, it sounds like Parasite got to her, we'd better hurry." Green Arrow added before he and the other heroes picked up their pace, Kat felt her energy being drained but managed to break Parasite's grip with a weak headbutt before falling to her hands and knees.

"What…what the hell did you just do to me?!" Kat demanded in between deep breaths and Parasite let out an evil laugh.

"Isn't it obvious? I just drained you of your powers, your memories, everything." Parasite asked mockingly before kicking Katrina aside. "Livewire, finish her off, we won't have long before her friends from the league arrive!"

"With pleasure." Livewire responded with a sadistic grin before walking up to Kat electricity in hand. "I would say that this will be quick and painless Dragon Girl, but I'd be lying." Livewire added before grabbing Kat by the throat and dragging her back to her feet. "You may be tough but how long will you last as several thousand bolts of electricity course through you?"

"Go to hell." Kat grunted in response before spitting on Livewire, the Supervillain used her free hand to wipe the spit from her cheek before glaring at Kat.

"You just made a big mistake." Livewire growled as she prepared her electrical powers…

"You know, it's funny, because I was about to say the same thing to you." Green Arrow's voice rang out and Livewire looked up just in time to dodge out of the way of one of Green Arrow's trick arrows letting go of Kat in the process, after that Vixen and Black Canary jumped into the fray and battled Livewire and Parasite respectively whilst Green Arrow rushed to Kat's side. "Dragon Girl, are you okay?"

"I feel weak as all hell." Kat groaned as she struggled to steady herself. "One minute I was staring down Livewire, the next, Parasite grabbed me from behind and drained me off my energy, I let my guard down and he got the jump on me." Kat groaned as she used a nearby house to steady herself. "This isn't permanent, right?"

"Only until he runs out of energy, how long that'll take I can't really say." Green Arrow responded before Livewire shocked him from behind causing him to spin around. "We'll talk about you disobeying my orders later, on the Watchtower but take my advice and try to stay out of this Kat, we can handle these guys."

"Wait!" Kat called out but it was too late as Green Arrow charged into battle and whilst the combined efforts of Green Arrow and Black Canary kept Livewire at bay Kat's stolen abilities made it difficult for Vixen to battle Parasite.

"I'm actually glad that Livewire didn't kill that bitch." Parasite laughed as Vixen did battle with him. "When my energy does run out, I can just go back to her!"

"Try it and you'll get my claw marks down your back!" Vixen growled in response before she pounced at Parasite only for Parasite to fly over her.

"Damn it, I should've been more careful! Those guys are going to get hurt because of my mistake or worse!" Kat thought as she collapsed to her knees again. "If nothing else, Parasite lacks my experience to go with my powers, he's making a lot of the same mistakes I made when I was first starting out! Hopefully, Vixen can exploit that."

"Why don't you idiots stand still for once?" Livewire taunted the two blond heroes as they dodged her electricity attacks and fired off shots of their own. "What's the matter? Afraid I'll break the League's newest toy?"

"That and the fact that I really don't like being electrocuted." Green Arrow responded as he fired off several trick arrows at Livewire which she dodged easily. "I find that it's really bad for my health for some reason!"

"And the same goes for me." Black Canary added before she started throwing punches at Livewire some of which connected whilst others were either dodged or blocked. "Why did you come all the way to China in the first place?"

"Wouldn't you like to know?" Livewire asked before punching Black Canary aside sending her skidding backwards.

"I haven't known him long, but Green Arrow could give Hawkeye a run for his money, in both skills and banter." Kat thought as she felt her strength returning to her. "I must've broken free before Parasite could get a good chunk of my energy, just a bit longer and I can join the fight!"

"What's going on?! I'm getting weaker!" Parasite realised as he felt his powers drain away, he glanced over at Kat and quickly put two and two together. "Off course, she's getting her power back! But not for…." Parasite trailed off before Vixen slashed at his back causing him to scream out in pain.

"I told you what would happen if you turned your back on me Parasite." Vixen taunted him as she got into a pouncing position. "I know you've been terrorizing Chinese people for the past several days but maybe just leave that Chinese person alone."

"Burn bitch!" Parasite spat before breathing fire at Vixen which she quickly dodged out of the way with a backflip.

"First time my fire breathing ability has been used in this world and it's by a power stealing bad guy, typical!" Kat bemoaned to herself before she felt more of her strength returning. "Come on! Just a bit longer!"

"I tire of this fight!" Parasite growled before he pounced on Vixen and delivered several powerful blows to her midsection, he then grabbed her by the collar and opened his mouth. "Let's see how you like your face being burned alive…..." Parasite trailed off as the last of Kat's powers drained from him and Kat got all her strength back. "No! I need her powers!"

"You have bigger problems Parasite!" Kat called out before she took flight and flew right at Parasite.

"That eager to be drained again? Bring it!" Parasite grinned as he backed away from Vixen. "I can feed on you all day Dragon Girl!"

"Not this time!" Kat responded before she launched into the spin dash and headed right for Parasite, the power draining villain tried to grab onto her to use his powers again but she was to fast for him and slammed into the wall knocking him clean out, Kat took a moment to steady herself before helping Vixen up. "Are you okay?" Kat asked once she had helped the older hero up.

"Nothing a trip to the infirmary won't fix, if anything I should be asking you the same thing." Vixen responded before Black Canary was nearly kicked into them by Livewire. "Answer that after we've dealt with Livewire."

"Deal." Kat nodded in agreement before the two female heroes leapt into action.

"You really think you stand a chance? We can do this all day, right Parasite?" Livewire called out to her teammate only to realise that there was no response. "Parasite?"

"If your asking after your purple teammate, he's been dealt with." Kat responded before she and Vixen joined Green Arrow and Black Canary in surrounding her. "And if your half as smart as your hair is blue, you'd realize that you can't win this fight." Kat added as she and the other four heroes got ready to attack, however Livewire took one look at her surroundings and quickly surrendered rather than continue.

"You think you've really won today?" Livewire scoffed as she was led away, and the four heroes looked on. "The legion will rise again."

*later, back on the Watchtower*

Kat and Vixen were in the infirmary being treated for the injuries they had suffered during the fight, thankfully neither of their injuries were that serious but that wasn't saving Kat from getting an earful from the other heroes.

"I told you to wait for us, hell you told Black Canary to back you up if they tried anything." Green Arrow stated and Kat took a deep breath knowing what was coming. "Kat, I appreciate the fact that you were trying to save that man's life, but you could've been killed yourself." Green Arrow pointed out and Kat groaned in response. "For god's sake we're trying to get you back home safely, not in a body bag."

"Don't you think I know that?" Kat asked as she ran a hand through her hair. "But the fact of the matter is, I didn't spot Parasite in the crowd of villagers because I wasn't focussing on them during my fly over, besides that, I didn't have much time to react before Luminous pulled the trigger."

"Those are fair points I'll give you that." Black Canary admitted as she walked up to Kat's bedside. "Which is exactly why you why for backup before jumping into battle like that! We were minutes away and Green Arrow would've knocked out Luminous before he pulled the trigger."

"No offence, but would he?" Kat asked as she glanced up at Green Arrow. "Even if my dad wasn't a cop by back home, Luminous was about to shoot that man at point blank range and as quick as you are with your arrows, I doubt you would've knocked him out in time! My decision was stupid in hindsight, I'll grant you that but if it means saving another person's life then I wouldn't hesitate to do it again!"

"Trust me Kat, I understand where your coming from." Green Arrow responded as he folded his arms. "But I was put in charge of this operation for a reason and I expect my colleagues to follow my lead, I only agreed to let you fly on ahead and scout because it made the most sense but if we hadn't arrived sooner then Livewire would've killed you."

"No one said being a Superhero was easy." Kat admitted as she ran a hand through her hair. "Just never thought I'd find myself drained of my powers like that, that wasn't fun."

"Believe me, it was less fun fighting Parasite when he still had your powers." Vixen responded as she sat up in her hospital bed. "How did you develop that technique anyway?"

"The Spin Dash? Trial and error, I was trying to come up with a way to deal with some of the tougher enemies back home." Kat admitted before shuddering. "To date, it's only ever failed to knock an enemy out once, and you met that enemy back in China."

"The Hulk?" Green Arrow asked and Kat nodded in response. "Not surprised, based on your description of him you'd need an army to deal with that guy."

"Depends on what kind of army your talking about." Kat responded before letting out an annoyed sigh. "First official mission as part of the league and I nearly get myself killed." Kat sighed to herself as she stared at the ceiling. "I've definitely had better days than this."

"Don't fret over it, we wouldn't be angry if we didn't care." Green Arrow responded before Kat got a message on her phone and she grabbed it. "How are you getting wi-fi signal up here?"

"I would say ask Yuri but she's off duty and knows just as much as I do." Kat admitted with a shrug as she typed in her pass code, the text message was a short one, but its contents lifted Kat's spirits instantly, it was from her mother.

"Nice to see your mother's thinking off you." Green Arrow commented warmly when he saw the text and Kat grinned before it hit Green Arrow. "How is she contacting you between dimensions?"

"Your guess is as good as mine, but she did call me during my scouting operation." Kat admitted as she leaned back. "And as good as it was to hear her voice again, in hindsight that was likely how the Hulk was able to locate me."

"Seems likely, maybe we should have one of the league's technicians look at your phone." Green Arrow suggested as Kat passed him her iPhone. "I'll see about getting you a temporary replacement in the meantime, but my best guess is that it was effected somehow when you went through the portal."

"I wasn't the only one who went through the portal with my iPhone, it's likely that it affected Marco, Ehsan and Yuri's phones as well." Kat pointed out and Green Arrow nodded as he got the idea. "There's one thing that's been bugging me since we got back from China, what did Livewire mean by "the legion will rise again"?"

"She's likely referring to the Legion of Doom, basically an evil version of the Justice League." Black Canary reasoned before shaking her head. "But it couldn't rise again! There was a mini civil war that broke out in the legion that saw half of it's members killed, and then several other villains were killed under different circumstances."

"In other words, even if it did come back, they'd be at half strength at best?" Kat asked and Black Canary nodded. "I've been doing this for long enough to know that it's rare that a dead hero or villain stays dead though."

"Perhaps but whilst several of the killed villains have come back to life none of them were the head honchos, hell Parasite was one of the villains who was killed off, but he came back." Green Arrow explained as he shook his head. "In my opinion, Livewire was just blowing hot smoke, there's no way in hell the Legion's coming back." Green Arrow added at which point Kat realised something.

"Look, this is just a theory but hear me out." Kat said as she sat up in the hospital bed. "What if Target, Hellraiser and Shockwave came over here to reboot the Legion of Doom?"

"Impossible." Green Arrow responded as he shook his head right as the med bay doors opened. "You and your friends knew next to nothing about this world when you jumped over, I doubt those three were any different."

"Not exactly." Adriana's voice rang out and Green Arrow looked up seeing the Mexican heroine enter the room. "Sorry, I came to check on Kat and I ended up overhearing that last bit."

"Don't worry about it, now what makes you so sure of that?" Green Arrow asked and Adriana took a seat.

"Before me and my sister jumped over, we were tasked with searching the warehouse for any clues as to what the hell Target, Hellraiser and Shockwave planned to do once they arrived here." Adriana stated before getting her phone out and accessing her photos. "We found these documents in the manager's office, I took pictures of the documents on my phone as a precaution, in case anything happened to them, your going to want to see this." Adriana added before passing her phone to Green Arrow.

"Holy…" Green Arrow trailed off as he read through it. "The secret identities of heroes and villains, their bases of operations, local jails and asylums, even our relationships, it's all here!" Green Arrow exclaimed and Black Canary and Vixen marched over to look at the pictures whilst Green Arrow turned to Kat. "Did you find these documents?"

"If we did, we would've been a lot more prepared than we were when we first arrived." Kat admitted as she folded her arms. "But our main priority was bringing the terrible trio to justice, not searching their hideout, if I had known I definitely would've suggested searching the warehouse first." Kat added before pausing. "And if I had found those documents, I would've avoided stuff like secret identities and relationships and just stuck to stuff that would've helped us once we jumped over."

"Si, me and Claudia basically did the same." Adriana nodded as Green Arrow passed her back her phone. "Our job was to look for any clues that would help us understand the motives behind the villains' actions and we found those documents in a safe which we assumed was were the manager kept the pay checks, what was more surprising to us was the fact that Hellraiser did most of the research."

"Hellraiser?! The big dumb brute who I've only ever beaten by outsmarting him was the brains of the operation?!" Kat asked as she sat up in her hospital bed and turned to the younger woman. "Are you sure about that?"

"Claudia was sceptical as well, but the language used in the documents all points to him, not to mention the bad hand-writing." Adriana responded and Kat ran a hand through her hair.

"That means one of two things, either Hellraiser is getting smarter in which case I need to think of a way I can beat him in straight up combat." Kat commented before shuddering. "Or someone else was pulling the strings on this end, frankly I don't know which idea I prefer."

"You and me both." Green Arrow nodded in agreement before he went to leave the med bay. "I had better report this to the senior members of the Justice League, Adriana, you mind grabbing your sister? I could use some backup on this."

"Will do." Adriana nodded before she left her seat and followed Green Arrow out of the med-bay.

*elsewhere in the world*

By now it was early morning in Metropolis and Yuri was up a couple of hours earlier than usual, mostly thanks to her alarm clock.

"What the hell?!" Yuri groaned as she looked up from her bed and stared at her alarm clock for a few seconds. "I could've sworn I set that thing for eight o'clock! Guess I know now how Kat felt every morning." Yuri added before turning off her alarm clock.

"Do you always speak to yourself?" An African American woman's voice that Yuri didn't recognize rang out from the door and Yuri groaned.

"Only when I'm woken up way to early…..." Yuri trailed off before she sprung out of bed and faced the heavyset woman blocking the door to her bedroom. "Who are you? How did you get in here?!" Yuri demanded as she got into a fighting stance.

"Don't even try it, I have a dozen armed guards waiting for you to try anything stupid just beyond this door, they'd gun you down before you could even summon a cool breeze." The woman commented and Yuri bit her lip before easing up. "Smart girl, now, who I am is of no concern to you Yuriko, at least not yet, I represent a group called Cadmus, we exist to keep your employers in check."

"The Justice League?" Yuri asked before her eyes narrowed. "I heard of you and if a group that thinks it's on the side of good whilst getting up to half the stuff you got up to thinks they can keep the league in check then you're dead wrong."

"Am I?" The woman asked with a scoff as she turned to face Yuri who, now that she had a better look at her, guessed that she was in her late forties at most. "You claim to have been a Superhero for two years, yet you trust them blindly, or didn't the league tell you about the orbital cannon they have equipped to the Watchtower pointing downwards."

"The what?!" Yuri stammered as her mind processed the information before folding her arms. "If your trying to turn me against the League then breaking into my home with a dozen armed thugs is the wrong way to go about it, and you still haven't told me your name."

"I never said I was trying to turn you against anyone." The woman said as she turned to leave. "And those "thugs" work for the US government, if I were you, I'd treat them with a bit more respect."

"Respect? The same government who tried to kill off mutants like me a dozen times over back home? I may be fairly new to the Superhero game but I'm not stupid." Yuri responded as her eyes narrowed. "Not to mention fighting with the government for disability benefits after my autism diagnosis but she doesn't need to know about that."

"I assure you, you won't have the same experience with this world's government, but you and your friends had better evaluate who you consider allies and enemies if you want to get home in one piece, I'm sure your parents are worried sick about you, my name is Amanda Waller, and we will meet again." Amanda added before leaving Yuri's room, after a few seconds Yuri poked her head out of her room and saw no trace of her nor the armed guards.

"If I wasn't in my nightgown I'd fly out and search for her but by the time I get changed into the Silent Tempest costume she'll be long gone." Yuri thought with an annoyed huff before Ehsan left his room. "Ehsan, did you see or hear anyone come into our apartment?"

"Good morning to you to babe." Ehsan greeted her with a yawn and Yuri rolled her eyes in response. "I did hear some movement, but I thought I was dreaming it and went back to bed, why what's wrong?"

"Some woman and her armed guards broke into the apartment, that's what's wrong!" Yuri responded as she folded her arms before going into her room and accessing her laptop, Ehsan came into the room with her as she signed in. "And morning by the way." Yuri added before she accessed the league's files with her password. "Amanda Waller…..." Yuri trailed off as she typed the woman's name into the search bar but what came up raised more questions. "Restricted access, what the hell?!"

"Yuriko, you are trying to access a file restricted to only the senior members of the league." J'onn's voice rang out through her earpiece and Yuri groaned. "Explain yourself."

"I'll go into more detail when I beam up later." Yuri responded with a yawn before shaking her head. "But a woman broke into my apartment with her armed guards, called herself Amanda Waller and she said that she represented a government agency calling itself Cadmus."

"I see." J'onn responded though his tone of voice made it hard to read what his reaction was. "Are you ready to be beamed up now?"

"I just woke up and I'm in my nightgown, what do you think?" Yuri responded with an annoyed sigh and J'onn nodded on the other end. "Not to mention my hair and makeup needs to be done."

"Let me know the moment you and Ehsan are ready." J'onn responded before hanging up and Yuri sighed before exiting out of the browser.

"Let's see, you get visited by some shadowy government agency before you even had a chance to get dressed and now your in trouble with the League for trying to find out more about the woman in charge of said agency." Ehsan commented before checking the time on his iPhone. "And it's not even seven am yet! Should I just go ahead and put some coffee on because it seems like this is going to be a long day!"

"Tell me about it, I wasn't even out of bed before this Amanda Waller person made herself known to me." Yuri responded as she shook her head before sighing. "I doubt I'll get in that much trouble with the senior members of the league, I knew there was files I couldn't access as a junior member but given that I've only existed in this dimension for a little over two weeks I still have some learning to do." Yuri added before standing up. "Now if you excuse me, I have to get ready."

"Getting dressed I can understand but makeup?" Ehsan asked with a confused look on his face as Yuri shoved him out of the room. "You look much better without it!"

"Maybe but I'm also starting at the Daily Planet later." Yuri responded once Ehsan was out of the room and she put a hand on the door. "And my mom always told me to look presentable on the first day of a job." Yuri added before closing the door behind him.

"Should I go ahead and get breakfast ready then?" Ehsan called out to her as Yuri started getting changed into her day clothes. "Or do you want to eat at the Justice League's cafeteria again?"

"Considering I got food poisoning the last time I had breakfast at the cafeteria, I shouldn't have to answer that question." Yuri responded as she started searching through her wardrobe. "How did that Waller woman get in here without setting off the alarms? I could've sworn this place was protected by a security system!" Yuri thought as she ran a hand down her face. "Just another thing to bring up when I meet with the League later, okay, just need a spare set of clothes for when I'm not going out as Silent Tempest and for when I start at the Daily Planet." Yuri thought as she got her superhero costume out and laid it on the bed. "Then again, knowing my luck Metallo will attack the Daily Planet looking for revenge on me for defeating him on my first day in this dimension!"

*elsewhere in Metropolis*

As life continued as normal for Kat, Yuri, Ehsan and Marco the three villains they were after were just under their noses this whole time.

"Livewire, Parasite and Luminous failed miserably." Target scoffed as he watched the footage from the fight in China, he, Hellraiser and Shockwave were sitting in an office in a high rise building in Metropolis alongside a fourth figure who sat behind a desk. "You should've sent me with them, I would've dealt with those idiots before the League could interrogate them."

"Too risky, you already exposed yourself once to the League when you attempted to kill Firefly." The figure responded as he shook his head and Target locked eyes with the man. "Especially given your history with Katrina, it was one of your men who killed her father, was it not?"

"Howard Lao was never on my hitlist." Target responded in a low voice as his eyes narrowed. "If he had never intervened in the attempt on Shocker's life then he'd be alive and well today."

"Perhaps, but my point still stands." The figure nodded as he leaned forward whilst keeping his face in the shadows. "As far as the League knows, the three of you came to this world just as clueless as the four heroes who chased you here, only those heroes have now joined the Justice League."

"Just give me a chance and those little punks will be roadkill." Hellraiser growled as the mountain of a man stood up and marched over. "I don't give a damn about this "legion" your trying to revive, I only care about avenging the times that little bitch embarrassed me."

"Can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm with Hellraiser." Shockwave nodded in agreement as she walked over to the desk. "The high and mighty Dragon Girl cost me my spot in the internship, if the League only knew what she got up to during her rookie year, they'd kick her out faster than you can say "I really regret torturing like two people with my powers because my daddy didn't hug me enough", off course I'll settle for killing that bitch at this point."

"And you'll get your chance." The figure responded as he turned to the two villains. "In time, there is still much to prepare."

"What do you know Luthor?" Target asked as he stepped forward with his arms crossed. "All you are is a wealthy industrialist who turned to crime for the hell of it."

"Who also has a genius level intellect." Lex Luthor responded as he stepped into the light revealing his bold head and business suit. "And if the three of you want to get anywhere in this world, you'll listen to me."
